Married A Blind Heir

Married A Blind Heir
Bab.27 Wretched

"Basic of lowly women! How dare he insult me like that, doesn't he know who I really am, huh?" upset the woman who was meeting Laras.

"Look at it later. I won't let you have Ervin. From the very beginning he was mine, and until whenever he would still be mine," the woman murmured while gazing hatefully as if before him there was a Baras. His hands clenched tightly holding back the emotions that were so heightened.

...❤‍🩹...

A week Ervin was in Texas, the surgery for his eyes had been carried out. However, it turned out that they had to wait until his recovery was completely completed, before Ervin was allowed to return to Indonesia given the trip that took a very long time.

"Baby, I heard from Herdi, you're not feeling well?" ervin asked in the video link they did. Unfortunately, the bandages in both eyes could not be opened, so he still could not see the face of the wife.

"Groans are a little dizzy, that's okay" Laras replied. A fragrant smile was clearly visible on Laras' pale face.

A week he did not meet with Ervin, a week also Laras felt his body is not as healthy as before. Often dizziness suddenly comes in the middle of daily activities, plus the sense of smell that also feels more sensitive.

"Check the doctor, baby. Let me call Herdi to take you." Ervin's face looked very anxious

"Yes, if it's till tomorrow morning, the dizziness doesn't go away either, I'll ask Herdi to drive me to the hospital." Laras nodded, smiling to find that Ervin's attention never lessened even though they were far apart.

There's a lot they talk about when the two make this kind of phone call. Starting from the daily activities of the two in different places to express a deep longing. Sometimes Ervin also took the time to wait for Laras to fall asleep. Doing such activities, make the relationship between the two more tightly, even more friendly and pleasant than before they were far apart as they are now. In fact, the distance is not able to make the love of both is reduced. Instead, longing continues to add to the love of both.

The sky began to light, although cloudy clouds were seen blocking the sun to show its light. The air also feels cold, even though the time has shown the clock in the morning.

This weekend, Laras decided to spend his time lazing around in the room. It feels so reluctant to go outside when there is no purpose for him to unwind.

The sound of knocking on the door rang out, distracting Laras from the book he was reading. The woman allowed the man to enter without getting out of his seat.

"Your breakfast is ready, ma'am" said one of the servants.

"alright. In a moment I will come down" Laras replied as he closed the book in his hand and kept it on a small table beside him. However, his movements came to a halt when he saw the small calendar he had deliberately placed there.

"The twenty-nine date?" mumbled Barrel with a frowning in.

Pondering his intentions, Laras instead switched to taking the phone he just left on the bed. Opens a record of her monthly guest attendance with her heart starting to pound erratically.

"From last month? Why didn't I realize it?" Laras said a little panicked, when he saw that even a month ago he had not had his regular guests.

"W-what could I be?" lirih Laras with hands touching her lower abdomen.

Without a second thought, Baras took out the cardigan in the closet and put it on in quick motion. He must immediately find out what really happened. Ascertaining his guess about something happening in his stomach.

"Please get Herdi and have him heat up the car. I'll go to the hospital after breakfast" Laras said as soon as he reached the dining room.

One of the servants who was waiting for him immediately carried out the orders of the madam. While Laras began to eat his breakfast in the morning.

Thirty minutes drive, Laras has now arrived at the hospital to check himself.

"Try you test with this first," said the woman's doctor while giving her a pregnancy test kit.

Moments later, she went outside with the pregnancy test in reverse. His trembling hands handed the object to the doctor who only smiled when he noticed Laras' behavior.

"Congratulations, the result is positive. Right now you are pregnant," said the female Doctor with a friendly smile. He explained the results of the two red lines shown on the device.

Clear thread without feeling falling just like that when hearing the doctor's speech about the news of her pregnancy.

"S-me, pregnant?" As if he still did not believe his own hearing, the woman asked again to make sure if he did not hear wrong.

"Yes, Madam. You're pregnant now" the doctor nodded.

Unstoppable anymore. The tears flowed so hard, with a sense of happiness that rose up inside the chest. He thought, all this would further complement the happiness of his little family after Ervin could see again and they were back together soon.

After doing a follow-up examination and redeeming some vitamins, Laras was now back in the car with Herdi focused on driving.

"Your gynecologist's eight weeks old." The shadow of the doctor's words when he performed the ultrasound examination is still ringing in memory.

A happy smile continued to be etched on the sweet face of Laras. The shadow of Ervin's happy face kept spinning in his head. Making Laras more impatient to tell this happy news to the husband.

"We're going to the parlor, sir. But, stop by the shopping center first," said Laras. Suddenly he remembered Bu Sri and the other children.

"Okay, ma'am," nodded Herdi as he drove the car towards the nearest shopping mall.

"Can you please follow me inside, maybe the groceries this time will be quite a lot," said Laras as soon as the car stopped in the lobby of the shopping center.

"Well, ma'am," nodded Herdi. He first parked the car before following Laras inside.

Baras choose a wide range of food and toys for children, even clothes and baby milk is not missed from the shopping list today. Counted, two large trolleys full of various items and food that he prepared for souvenirs for the orphanage. Of the many items, she also slipped pregnant milk for herself.

"The rain is very heavy, yes," said Laras while looking out the car glass. Herdi asserted Laras's words. He had offered to leave when the rain had begun to subside, but Laras did not listen. The woman wanted to be in the home before lunch, so Herdi had to drive in the rain.

Now Laras and Herdi are back in the car, with the back full of all the gift trinkets he just bought. The car began to drive, down the streets of the city that felt more deserted.

There was not the slightest suspicion from the two, Laras who could not wait to share the news to Bu Sri and the children, while Herdi just continued to focus on the streets in front of him. Several times, Laras tried to call Ervin, but there was no answer. He thought, maybe Ervin is still asleep, considering it's still night.

"Not lifted," murmured Laras as he stared at his phone displaying the wallpaper of their photo.

The conditions that had originally become calm and pleasant, suddenly changed, when they reached a crossroads. Herdi was struck by a truck coming at high speed from the side and hit him without giving him time to dodge.

"Mrs!" Herdi shouted out the reflex to call Laras, worried and also remembered his obligation to guard Laras, making Herdi unable to think of any other words than the woman.

The car he was driving, dragged to the side of the road and rolled in a state of severe rattling. The sound of a clash so loud in the rain was, inviting the surrounding residents to look outside, as well as the riders who stopped to see the accident that occurred, he said, until slowly the location was mobbed by residents.

All just stared concerned while wondering, the state of the victim in the car was badly shaken, without daring to touch it before the police came.

"Madam, you must endure," murmured Herdi in the rest of his dwindling consciousness.
