"What are you going to do next?" dion asked as the two were on their way home.
"It looks like I better give up, he has completely forgotten me already" Laras replied limply. The woman doubled her back with a gaze out the window of the car.
Dion glanced at Laras in between driving him, he exhaled softly. There is a sense of compassion in his heart, seeing the journey of life Laras who never went smoothly, starting from his family and love. No one was able to provide a sense of security and happiness for the woman.
"Whatever your decision is, I will always support you, Ras. Likewise with Papi and Mami, I'm sure they will always be behind you, too" Dion said, patting Laras' shoulder gently.
It would be inappropriate for him just to give advice or say a word of patience to Laras at this time. Although he was not always happy, but as long as he knew, Laras' life was still more painful and full of struggle when compared to his own.
Barrel looked down, staring at Dion's face. A man who is always ready to help him even though he has mneorkan wounds for him.
"Thank you, Yon. I don't know what to do if there's no you beside me" Laras replied sincerely.
Dion did not reply, the man simply smiled as he nodded slowly, then refocused on the path in front of him.
...❤🩹...
"Are you sure you want to go now?" ask Mami somehow for how many times.
Laras moved from his seat on the floor and chose to sit beside his mother. He held the hand of the middle-aged woman that Laras already considered to be his own mother.
"Yes, Mommy. The longer I'm here, the harder it is to forget about him. I want to start a new life without any more shadow of her, Mami," Laras replied with a sad look.
Mami sighed softly, she was so unwilling to let Laras go with her two cute grandchildren. His house will again feel lonely, as well as himself who will again feel empty. However, Mami could not do anything, she could only continue to support all of Laras's decisions, after trying to give advice.
In contrast to Laras who was packing his belongings and his two twins, in Dion's room, the man was seen in a frenzy due to Laras' decision to leave, after giving up on Ervin.
"Basic jerk!" For some time, Dion said the same swear words while shuffling his hair. The man was now also disappointed, because Ervin had no regard for Laras at all, and now Laras had chosen to go somewhere far from the city.
"Simps! I'll make sure you'll regret wasting all of Laras' sacrifices!" dion growled while clenching his hands so tightly. His eyes were full of hatred.
...❤🩹...
Laras was still silent as he looked at the two tiny babies who were sound asleep on his bed. There was a sense of tightness inside her chest, when she recalled the fate of her two children who had never even seen and met her biological father. However, she could not do anything now, because without the support of Ervin, it was too dangerous for both babies if they had to come to the surface.
"I'm sorry Mama, son. Maybe for now you are not destined to meet your father," said Laras Lirih, along with tears that fell back on his cheeks. It was not easy for him to decide to leave here, but he was also unwilling to continue to depend on the Dion family.
Her memory returned when she returned from the party that night.
Flashbacks ....
"What's wrong?" asked Laras while looking back. His eyes widened when he clearly saw that there were two vans following them.
"They must have known where I was, Yon," said Laras again with a look that turned frantic. Memory when the accident happened again flashed to make his body tremble violently.
"Pacify yourself, Race. I promise we'll be back safely." Dion, who saw the change in attitude, immediately grabbed the woman's hand, trying to strengthen her while continuing to control the car at an increasingly high speed.
Physical injuries can indeed be treated and have now fully recovered, but invisible wounds that continue to teach to make a prolonged trauma, feel more torturous and difficult to treat it.
Baras continued to try to control himself, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Baras did that repeatedly, until he could slowly control his trauma.
"Goodle. Now, can you help me call my assistant?" dion asked while giving his phone to Laras.
Laras nodded while receiving Dion's phone, then dialed Dion's personal assistant number. Once connected, Laras positioned the phone near his best friend's mouth, so he could talk.
"Do the plan, block them all now" Dion said, approved by the assistant. The phone call stopped there. Not long after, several cars appeared behind Dion's car and intercepted the stalker until Dion was able to freely escape.
"Do you know they're gonna do something like this?" asked Laras while looking closely at his best friend's face.
Dion turned to look at Laras before answering the woman's question with a relaxed look.
"With you coming straight to Ervin's house, they will definitely know who you are. Roland's men are everywhere, Ras. If at the time of your status as Ervin's wife did not prevent them from harming you, what else now, when you have nothing to do with them. Obviously, all of that would make him more free to do something to you, considering he wouldn't be someone to suspect if something happened to you" Dion explained.
"So now they know where I am?" ask Laras who is increasing worry.
"I was hesitant at first, let alone you failing to meet Ervin. But, with two cars stalking us, now I'm sure that they know where you are" Dion replied, nodding her head.
Laras was silent, he was quite surprised by Dion's words, moreover it was all due to his own carelessness. Laras only wants to see Ervin and ask for his explanation, but now he does not want to endanger the lives of his two children.
"It's a good thing that I used to work in Ervin's office and was directly under Roland, so I could know a little about his attitude and how it worked" Dion continued, remembering his work while he was still chasing Laras.
Flashback off ....
The barrel removes tears that are still able to flow, even though it feels like a lot of fluid has fallen for the same reason. He was just about to get out of bed when suddenly the door of his room opened violently, to make Laras and his two children surprised.
"Sh." shush." The barrel immediately calmed the two children, patting the two babies' chests in a gentle gesture.
"You can't leave this house without my permission!" said the man who is now seen standing in the middle of the door of the room Laras with a breath that is still hunting and face flushed.
Baras was speechless with a surprised face, he stood with a puzzled look in his eyes. What exactly is going on?
