The night had already shown at ten o'clock when Dion saw Laras sitting alone on the balcony of the second floor of the house. Dion seemed to breathe out slowly and then continued his steps intending to take the water downstairs.
"What the hell does he expect from a coward like Ervin? Make a sprain," his grunt while descending the stairs with a quick step.
"Fuck lo Ervin, you can marry each other again, even though Laras who has been trying to help and nemenin lo time still blind. Don't know yourself!" Dion still cool scorched while taking two cups of coffee and then poured instant coffee into it.
He changed his intention to take water, and his heart was hot when he heard the news about Ervin and Alfredo's death, when he got home this morning.
"Had news. Famous businessman who has lived in Texas for a long time; Alfredo, has died. His son and CEO of RK Elektronik, Ervin Alarik, was monitored now at Soekarno Hata airport to fly immediately to Texas. He went along with his wife who had never performed and always refused interviews. They looked harmonious, even the wife was always on Ervin's side."
"Suck!" as Dion recalls the pieces of airtickel he had read with Laras about Ervin, there they could even see a clear picture of Ervin and his new wife.
Ervin felt the heartache, when he witnessed how Laras tried to recover and do treatment so persistently, even though he himself was pregnant with twins at once. Laras was even tireless, although he knew that the therapy done by Laras was painful.
"Gue will definitely lo nyesel because it has already seen a girl as late as Laras," he growled again while brewing coffee in his glass.
"Akh, shit!" he said as he shook his hand quickly, when hot water accidentally hit the back of his hand.
"It's all because of that fucking guy!" his curse still blames Ervin for all his own carelessness that poured hot water without seeing it.
Dion fell silent with his hands he left under the sinks to cool it down. His memory returned when Laras forced himself to train until he fell and ended up with his leg sprained badly enough to have to stop his road therapy.
Flashbacks
Back then, time had already shown at half ten in the night. It was already thirty minutes past his usual scheduled break. Dion, who was still busy working on his office duties, was suddenly startled by the loud clashing sound from the direction of Laras' room. Their room was right next to each other, so Dion could hear what was happening in the pregnant woman's room.
"Without?" he muttered as he immediately got up from the chair and ran outside and knocked on the door of Laras' room.
"Ras, what was that?" You're okay, right?" he cried no more if he had to wake his aunt who was also in the room.
"I'm fine Akh!"
Hearing that shout, Dion did not think long, he immediately entered the room Laras even without permission from the owner.
"Good, Race! Why did you fall like this, heh?"
Dion was surprised to see Laras sitting on the floor with his hands holding his feet. Obviously, he already knew what the woman was doing on these nights, as this was not the first time he had caught Laras secretly practicing unsupervised walking.
"Do not babble first, help me, my legs hurt," said Laras grimacing. He knew, if left unchecked, that Dion would first grumble him with a word sequence that was longer than the length of the electric train, before helping him.
Dion who was just about to open his mouth back instantly fell silent with a rough gasp of breath. He walked over to Laras and carried her to the bed.
"You're rehearsing quietly again?" asked Dion while lifting the body of Laras who is now pregnant.
"Sorry," Laras replied with his head lowered and his face parched.
"Lo not kasian with baby Bakpao I heh? What happens to them, heh?" dion asked again while looking at Laras distended stomach with a pushy look, while the woman who was being subjected to Dion's scolding, only bowed lethargic while occasionally grimacing endured the pain.
"Gue know you want to be cured and can walk again, but you also have to think of them, Ras. Didn't you ever say, if you choose back, because of the child you bear? Now why are you selfish, huh? You just think about your sadness without knowing what they will get if you keep kayak gini?"
Dion can't take it anymore. Laras is hardworking and does not give up easily, but he must also realize that there are now two more lives that he must take care of in his body. Let the woman be hurt by her speech, provided that Laras can think clearly and not force himself anymore.
The barrel sobbed, his shoulders slowly shaking with tears. His hand stroked slowly his distended stomach which instantly counteracted the smooth movement from within. Dion let out Laras cry, he only focused on Laras legs that looked flushed, seemingly sprained. It was all evident when his aunt came and immediately stated if Laras's leg sprained quite badly.
Flashback off ....
Dion stood at the end of the stairs with two cups of coffee in his hand, he looked at the back of the woman who had once been his love. The woman who gave him a new world and opened his heart about the girl around him. Yes, before he met Laras, Dion was often taken advantage of by girls who were in a relationship just to squeeze him out in subtle ways. But not with Barrel. A simple girl who never even asked to buy anything to her, even though she knew that she was the child of the people. Instead, Laras always scolded him if he wasted money and bought something insignificant. It was that attitude that fascinated Dion by Laras and eventually fell in love.
Slowly, Dion stepped on his feet to approach the woman who still remained in the same position.
"Ekhm!" Dion cleared his throat slowly while sitting beside Laras. His hands stretched out giving the woman a cup of coffee.
Laras looked up, he was quite surprised when he heard the soft voice of deheman, but a thin smile was engraved when he saw the figure of Dion who was now sitting beside him.
"Still," said Laras while receiving a helping of coffee from Dion's hand.
Dion did not reply, he just slightly tilted his head to the side while raising his shoulders, then sipped his own coffee. A slight warm feeling of heat, which mixed with the hook at the tip of the tongue and a fragrant aroma filled his sense of smell. The taste made Ervin close his eyes for a while, enjoying the sensation that the deep black water gave him. Sure, he won't be able to sleep after this.
The two were silent for a while while staring straight up, where there was a semicircular moon that seemed to shine on the sidelines of the gray clouds that covered the black sky that night.
"Still thinking about it?" dion asked without distracting himself from the moon which was now slightly covered by the clouds.
"It would be a lie if I said no" Laras replied as he turned to Dion at a glance, then lowered his head, he looked at the surface of the coffee inside the cup in his grasp.
Dion exhaled slowly while turning his gaze in any direction.
"You better forget him, Ras. He does not deserve you to defend" Dion said, staring at Laras' face, which still looked down deeply.
"Let me see him back, Yon. I want to see him, "Laras replied while returning Dion's gaze with teary eyes.
There was a pain that still hit his heart when he saw Laras' face that looked sad and groggy. As hard as he could endure and try to eliminate, that affection still remained in the corner of his heart and would bloom if only he could get a reply.
"What else are you waiting for, Ras? Obviously he's forgotten about you, even he's remarried when you don't even have any news" upset Dion who was upset and disappointed by Laras' decision.
"I just want to meet him once again and listen to his explanation. Whenever this doesn't work, at least I've tried and it won't make me regret it later" Laras explained.
Dion exhaled again without taking his eyes off the woman before him. Whether this will be good or not, it is not wrong to try first, right? At least Laras will not be curious, although it may end up being more painful.
