Ervin was completely lost his mind, he was not even aware of the existence of Laras in his room. The man continued to throw whatever was nearby without estimating anything that might be destroyed there. Until suddenly the sound of shouting Laras stopped his tantrums and unconsciously immediately dampened the anger that was in Ervin's heart.
"You?" Ervin muttered while looking at the source of the voice.
Laras exhaled his coarse breath while rubbing his chest, trying to remain patient with Ervin who was being overwhelmed by emotions. He then spoke while wiping the blood on his cheek from being hit by the splash of a crushed flower vase. "I'm not papa, really."
"Your hand? " Laras approached Ervin when he saw that there was a wound on the man's hand that had dripped blood.
"Let's sit down, let me heal your wounds first," said Laras again while taking Ervin's hand.
"No need! You call me Dedrik, let him treat me" refused Ervin to release his hand from Laras's grasp.
Laras was silent with his eyes looking at Ervin's face, though there was a sense of annoyance in his heart but he did not give up. Laras again grabbed Ervin's hand and took him to sit on the side of the bed with a slightly pushy movement.
"Dedrik is having business outside, if you want, I can call for other services to treat your wounds" said Laras slowly.
Ervin was speechless, he chose to follow Laras' speech rather than be touched by other ministries that he could not even trust his loyalty to.
Laras took a P3K box in one of the drawers that were there then sat down next to Ervin and began to treat the wound on her husband's hand.
"Don't do this again well, anger like this can't change things. Instead, anger can harm you and those around you by accident."
Laras continued to speak with a gaze that focused on Ervin's wounds, he was not even aware of Ervin's face change that looked flat and cold.
Ervin was silent, he did not pierce the words of Laras to make the woman slightly distracted and raised her head to look at her husband's face that looks flat.
"Already," he said as soon as he finished wrapping Ervin's wound.
Ervin was still unmoved, he didn't even say anything to Laras. Either because the man did not hear it or maybe he pretended not to hear the barrel.
Laras shook his head weakly while rearranging his heart to remain patient in the face of Ervin's mood that turned out to be very easily changed. He again circulated his gaze, looking at the entire messy room.
Laras exhaled softly, there was a sense of pity in his heart when recalling the fate that befell Ervin. He did not blame Ervin at all for diverting his anger on all that stuff. According to him, it was better, than Ervin to vent his anger on the workers or himself.
"Wait here yes, I will clear all this first," said Laras again as he moved from his seat.
Baras just knew that no waiter should come to Ervin's room, even just to clean it. After an accident, Ervin limits all that and only allows Dedrik to take care of everything about him.
Ervin did not answer either, the man was still silent, he just sat down with his breath slowly starting to reorganize. The barrel felt calmer, because the emotions inside Ervin's body had subsided completely.
More than half an hour of barrel cleaning the room and wrapping all pacahan goods that had been thrown by Ervin. Just as Laras was about to get out of the room to dispose of the trash, Laras was surprised by the arrival of Dedrik who was already at the door.
"Mrs, are you hurt?" asked Dedrik with his worried face. It was obvious that he saw a fairly long scratch on Laras' cheek.
"Ah, this is okay, I will treat it myself," replied Laras lightly. He passed from there leaving Dedrik and Ervin.
Dedrik stared at the room that looked empty, then turned to Ervin's face that still looked flat. He exhaled, knowing what had just happened to his master.
Actually Dedrik didn't go anywhere, he was just working on something in his study. He also accidentally did not come to Ervin's room when he already knew there was a barrel there. Dedrik wanted to make this incident to test Laras' patience in dealing with the temprament Ervin that is not as stable, what else when it comes to his mother and step-sister.
Dedrik batin with a faint smile when he saw Ervin's room that had returned clean and neat as before, although there were some items missing, of course, it must have been damaged by Ervin himself.
"Are you satisfied?" ervin asked suddenly, making Dedrik immediately turn his attention to the man.
"He's been proven, now you don't have to worry anymore, young master," replied Dedrik, turning his back to face Ervin.
"I'm sure he cursed me inwardly." Ervin grinned thinly while exhaling a rough breath.
Who would be completely silent if he knew your temperament like this, sir? Even I will still feel annoyed when thinking of you who are stubborn.
"Tomorrow I will tell him about his duties at the company. It can't be postponed anymore, or I won't be able to help him any further" Dedrik said.
"Hem, and make sure he will not be short of money, so that he does not turn away from his loyalty," replied Ervin who was immediately embraced by Dedrik.
...❤🩹...
The next morning, Dedrik actually tells Laras that in the near future he will go abroad and transfer all his duties to the woman.
"A-what do you mean, Father? Why should I take over your duties at the office as well? It's not my job to take care of Ervin, but why am I responsible for the company now?" asked Laras with a confused face mixed in surprise.
"There is something I have to do abroad, so during that time you have to take over all my duties at home or in the company. I know, it's too shocking and rushed, but you should know if I don't have a choice either. I hope you can understand" Dedrik explained in a short statement.
"But how can I take over your job in the company, while I just graduated without any experience in managing a company, what else is a company of this size."
"I'm sure you can, Madam. I will never doubt the choice of the Great Lady to marry you to the young master." Dedrik tried to convince Laras.
Laras looked at Dedrik with a deep frown, never expecting to have this much responsibility, even when he was just getting married.
"You don't have to worry, actually the young master is very reliable in managing the company, he has even been in the business world since he was in late high school, it's just that since he lost his eyesight, he even has been in business since he was in high school, the young master was already unwilling to know any more about the affairs of the company."
"However, once in a while you can ask him about the company, I'm sure the young master will help you. Although he looked indifferent on the outside, he was actually a warm person, only he was indeed not good at expression. The young master would also not let the company run into trouble, as it was the relic of the late great mistress."
A few hours later....
"Haish! This is all too crazy. How could they give this much responsibility to a girl who just graduated from college like me?" Laras, who now lives alone in Derdrik's workspace, cried out in frustration at the difficult situation.
His eyes stared back at the pile of files he had to study before Dedrik went abroad which was even less than a week.
"How can I learn all this, while the file I just received yesterday I haven't read it all," laras complained that his head had almost exploded just by looking at the pile of files that were mounting in front of him.
Meanwhile, Dedrik, who chose to return to his room and leave Laras in his study, was staring at a report from the hospital he received a few days ago.
"So all this time there's been holding back all the would-be eye donors who are suitable for young masters?" he muttered with a cold face. His hands were dodging tightly with the jaws hardened, restraining the fury accumulated within the chest.
How is it possible that someone would thwart the donor eye for his master, until Ervin waited so long?
"I must go and settle this matter, so that the young master can get a donor immediately," how did Dedrik, convince his heart to leave immediately.
