Married A Blind Heir
Chapter.48 Caught

"That's just the past!" Cold-tested barrel. His chest tightened as Ervin continued to blame himself for the six years that were so painful for him. However, it is not that easy, to be able to knock back his heart that has been locked.

Will all past mistakes end with a confession? Not at all. His heart was already wounded, and his life was almost destroyed. Remind him, how did Laras struggle to get out of the death that almost took him and his threatening disability after he was conscious of his coma? Really, it's not all that easy. Even after he assumed everything would be over, it turned out that Ervin had instead crushed his spirit and sent him back in the abyss of wounds. Laras must again live in invisible wounds and try to heal him in order to live a normal life with his two children.

"Better you come back, I have nothing to do with your past or your future," Laras continued while returning Ervin's gaze with a sharp eye. The woman rose up until now both of them stood face to face.

"You'd better get back to your tent." The barrel turned around and walked back towards the door of the tent. He hasn't been able to relate directly to Ervin, even if it's just to talk. His heart still ached as painful flashes of memory loomed over him again. Baras did not want to return mired into the same abyss. Ervin's life is too complicated to fit in with his two children.

"City ...." Ervin blocks Laras' hand until the woman is forced to stop her steps.

"Our relationship ended six years ago .. and, please stay that way" Laras murmured without seeing Ervin, He removed Ervin's grip on his wrist, then he took his steps back into the tent.

Ervin was speechless with his sculpting body, he did not expect that Laras would ask for such a thing at the beginning of their meeting, after many years had passed.

"How can I get past you again, Ras? You're the reason I survived and fought them to the point now. Meeting you was my only dream for four years, Baby," Ervin murmured with a single drop of tears just dripping down his cheek. His gaze was not separated from the tent door that had been tightly closed.

Meanwhile, Laras who was also still sitting behind the door could only shed tears and cry in silence, when he heard Ervin's words. He closed his mouth tightly, so that the sobbing sound did not escape and disturbed the sleep of his two children.

So he knows everything? Does he know about Nevan and Nessa? batin Laras while looking at his two children who are still asleep.

From another tent, Dion listened to all the conversations between Laras and Ervin. At first he wanted to go outside to expel Ervin from Laras' side, but his intention was unsettled when Dion came to his senses, if indeed the two people had to meet and talk with a cold head to solve a problem that had been protracted for too long.

Silently, he saw Ervin walking back to his tent. A sudden sense of compassion seeped in his heart. Dion could see the look of desperate eyes and shoulders that no longer showed authority or arrogance. Ervin fell so deeply before Laras, his compassionate and pleading gaze clearly visible.

"Your journey is still long, Ervin. This is just the beginning if you want to go back to my sister," muttered Dion with a complicated gaze to interpret.

...❤‍🩹...

The next morning, after breakfast. Dion, Laras, Nevan, and Nessa plan to autboand and explore the artificial forest. However, their steps come to a halt when Nevan and Nessa accidentally spot Ervin who has just walked out of the tent.

"Fuck!" Shouted Nessa and Nevan together, they even immediately ran up to Ervin with his cheerful face.

"For the children," said Ervin with a happy smile, he welcomed the arrival of his two children who were dressed neatly.

"Where are you going, how neat is this?" tanyanya while staring at the appearance of Nevan and Nessa.

"We want to autboand and explore the forest. Isn't that right, Mah?" Nessa answered and asked for support from the mother who was instead staring in front of the tent.

"They've met at the hotel, I also don't know why Nevan and Nessa can call such a jerk." Dion explained, after seeing Laras' confused and surprised face.

The woman turned her head quickly at Dion with her sharp gaze. "So they met, but you didn't tell me? What the fuck, Yon?"

"Sorry, Ras. I thought we wouldn't see him again, so I didn't tell you" Dion replied with an awkward smile and a hand scratched the back of his head,

"God! I was wrong again" complained Dion when he saw Laras walking away from him.

"Let's go kids, we'll have bad luck," asked Laras without greeting Ervin at all.

"Well, what if Papah's coming too?" nevan asked with a face.

"Can you, Mah? Papah's mum is here." Nessa spoke with pleading eyes and both hands clenched in front of her chest.

Laras exhales violently, forced to turn his gaze to Ervin who is seen sitting with both hands embraced by Nessa and Nevan.

"Let's go baby, don't bother others," said Laras still trying to speak in a soft tone. He pressed deeply with his annoyance, anger, and disappointment with Ervin, for the sake of his two children. Laras cannot deny that Ervin is the father of his two children, but he also cannot accept Ervin's presence around him.

"Will you come with us? Come on, Pah ..." Nessa whines while shaking Ervin's hand. His eyes had already started to blush with the glass blanket that had almost broken.

Ervin looked puzzled, he tried to ask Laras through an eye gesture, but the woman seemed to keep avoiding him.

"Alright, Papah will come with you, if your Mamah dama uncle allows it," Ervin replied slowly. His eyes glanced at Laras who seemed to be exhaling deeply.

"Can Papah come with us, Mah? Uncle?" nevan asked now turning to look at Laras and Dion alternately.

"Where, Race?" Not to be mistaken, Dion chose to ask Laras before deciding, although he himself knew, how Nessa would continue to act if her wishes were not obeyed.

"Clear," replied Briefly.

"Have you heard your mother's answer?" Dion again made a sound that was greeted by the joyful cries of the two children past five years old.

Ervin immediately changed his clothes and prepared himself. However, at that very moment he had just realized, if he did not bring clothes to do outdoor activities and explore. Everything is just casual clothes and formal clothes for work.

"Akh, shit! I have to go in clothes like this?" he muttered as he looked at himself who was wearing only denim pants, a thin t-shirt and sneakers that he had bought randomly before following Dion yesterday.

"Damn, if I go outside wearing clothes like this, they will immediately know that I do not intend to camp" he said again.

"Bah, come. We'll be late!" shouted Nessa who was impatient to do extreme sports. Although they are not even six years old, but they are used to outside activities, even doing various sports that have been recommended for them. Both do include children who are active when they are in nature, even Nevan who never separated from the rubiknya game will immediately forget if it is already in the wild.

With a thick face, Ervin out of the tent with his makeshift clothes. A strange and astonished look immediately greeted him as soon as the man went outside. Everyone who had been waiting for him was now unable to look at his strange appearance and was not suitable to be used in a place like this.

Stupidhead! Could he have come to this place without any preparation? Despite lying, he should have made sure he wouldn't get caught this soon. Dion curses in his heart while grimacing, feeling embarrassed when he sees Ervin's appearance.

Meanwhile, Laras exhaled a tired breath. He could already guess if Ervin was indeed lying about the reason for being here. Campsites are not very well known, making it impossible for foreign tourists to know about them. What's more, as far as Laras knows, Ervin does not like to do activities in the wild.
