"Have you returned?" ervin asked so he heard the door open and footsteps that sounded familiar to him.
"Eum," nodded Laras while putting his bag on the table, then approached the husband who was sitting on the sofa with documents still in his hands.
"What document is that?" asked Laras while sitting next to her husband. Although his eyes could clearly see the paper in Ervin's hands, he did not know about the braille letters.
"What no. Just an ordinary document" Ervin replied. His hand moved to close the document and then put it on the table.
"Heum, okay. If so, what if we go straight home. It seems like there is nothing more to do here" Laras said, wrapping his hand around her husband's arm.
"You're going home yet?" ask Ervin. The frown on his forehead was clearly visible, as if he was asking, why the Unusual Baras attitude was more concerned with work.
"No. I want to, let's go for a walk, before we go home. Enjoying the afternoon together, it seems fun," Laras replied while leaning his head on Ervin's arm which is now quite muscular.
The man reviews his happy smile, he sprays an affectionate kiss on the top of his wife's head.
"What's up? How do I think my wife is so spoiled today?" joked Ervin, while chuckling lightly. To be honest, she likes Laras to be spoiled for her.
Baras was silent for a moment. His heart felt hard to part with Ervin, but he also could not accompany Ervin abroad in the current condition of the company. Laras was also unlikely to ask Ervin to wait for him. He did not want to be a hindrance for Ervin to get his sight again, after all this time the man had been waiting for a long time.
"It's okay, I just want to be alone with my husband again" replied Laras. The smile was etched even though it looked very forced.
"All right, then let's go. I'll accompany you wherever you want, baby," Ervin replied. The spirit in his body suddenly increased rapidly, only with the spoiled treatment of his beloved wife.
Moments later, Laras and Ervin are seen out of the office. Meanwhile, Herdi was ready to wait for the arrival of his two bosses. He stood upright next to the car, preparing to open the passenger door.
"We go to the beach, sir," Laras said as they sat in the car.
"Well, madam," nodded Herdi, as he began to run his car out of the office area.
Some time later, Herdi had managed to park his car on the beach. The sky that started was red, as if welcoming the two of them in that place.
"Come fast, the sunset already looks beautiful," said Laras while helping Ervin out of the car. The two chose to sit on the sand with a view of the sun drowning right in front of them.
A soft grin was seen adorning Ervin's handsome face. The man could hear the waves very clear, plus the warm afternoon sunlight that hit his body. The sand feels tickling on the feet, as if giving a softness that cradles.
"You happy, baby?" ervin asked while embracing his wife's shoulder. Although he could not see his wife's smile which he believed would be very sweet, but Ervin was already quite grateful, because in the darkness of his life, Laras was present, and he was very happy, it was as if a light was slowly illuminating him and leading him towards a path filled with color.
"Eum. I'm very happy. Enjoying the sunset with my loved ones is one of the prayers I always pray. Now, that's already been granted. How will I not be happy," answered Laras, slowly he rested his head on Ervin's shoulder and then closed his eyes. Enjoy the waves and the warmth of the sun without any visuals. He wanted to feel the darkness that Ervin was experiencing.
Long both of them were silent in the same position, until the warmth slowly disappeared, switching with the cold gusts of wind that pierced their skin. Baras opened his eyes, he held the hand of the husband and then gave some kisses there.
"Last afternoon, Mr. Dedrik called me" Laras said suddenly.
"Dedrik? Why did he call you? Not me?" asked Ervin in a tone of voice he did not like.
Laras chuckles when he hears Ervin's whimper which is like a child who feels jealous because his parents pay more attention to his brother.
"He wants me to tell you something, and it has to be me." The barrels emphasize his voice at the end of the sentence.
"What surprise? He usually talks to me." It seems Ervin is still sulking.
"Did you miss him?" asked Laras who immediately made Ervin's body stiffen.
"Based on the king of prestige!" laras Cibir. Although both sound like they are fighting with their mouths, their position is still the same. Ervin's hands are faithfully on Laras' shoulders, as well as the head of Laras who is still comfortable leaning on the husband's shoulders.
"Calm down, soon you will definitely meet with Mr. Dedrik," continued Laras again. His tone sounded a little sad, although Laras had tried to disguise his feelings.
"No." Laras. He broke Ervin's hopes with just one word.
"You will follow him there," continued Laras again.
Ervin was speechless with such a subtle frown. "What do you mean, baby? Try to speak clearly."
"Pak Dedrik has found an eye donor for you" said Laras. The woman tried to hold back her tears, though one tear escaped from the cracker, when she saw her husband's shocked reaction.
"Is there a suitable donor?" ask Ervin, make sure.
"Eum. I've had Herdi take care of everything for your needs during the trip all the way to Texas. Getting there, you will be picked up by Mr. Dedrik, immediately" said Laras. His gaze looks sad, even though he tries hard to manahan his own feelings.
"What do you mean? I'll only leave if it's with you, baby," protested Ervin. He no longer wanted to be separated, even if it was only for one day.
"But the company still needs me. Roland would easily incite them back and act, if we leave him. While there, there's Mr. Dedrik who will help you." Barrel tried to explain.
"I beg. Just understand this time. I don't want our efforts and hard work all this time, to be easily destroyed back by Roland. After all, we will meet again after you finish the treatment. Wouldn't you like to see my face? Only by undergoing this surgery can you see me. Go away, I promise you'll be fine here" Laras continued.
"But I don't want to part with you, baby. I won't calm down if I leave you here alone." Ervin is still hesitating. One side, Ervin was happy, because the opportunity to see again was now in sight. However, Laras who refused to go with her, made her worried.
"I'm not alone. There was an orphanage that always accepted me, the servants, the guards, and Herdi. They're all still here, with me. They will take care of me as long as you are not around" Laras replied with complete confidence.
"We'll talk about this later. Better now that we're home, the night breeze isn't good for health." Ervin chose to end the stifling conversation, he began to change his position and prepare to rise.
Barrel exhaled tired breath. He could already guess it would be like this, Ervin's reaction to this happy news. The man is now starting to depend on him. Actually, not only Ervin who felt hard to part, but himself as well. Perhaps, his unwillingness to let go of Ervin, would be greater than the man felt.
"alright. Let's go home" Laras nodded later. He stood up first, then helped Ervin.
"Sir, please help Mister to get down, I have business!" The barrel is said while going outside in a hurry from the car. He ran into the house while smothering his mouth.
"Herdi, is he angry?" ervin asked with a face that looked lethargic.
"No, Mister. Looks like the madam is not feeling well. Since this afternoon, his face was a little pale, "Herdi replied as he helped Ervin out of the car and walked into the house.
"You dare look at my wife's face?!" jolt Ervin suddenly. Herdi even reflexes away from Ervin, so surprised.
"N-not so, sir. I just unintentionally saw it," Herdi replied in a voice that sounded vibrating.
"I'm sorry, sir," he continued.
"Then, why didn't you tell me about Laras' condition?" asked Ervin again, still in a deep tone of voice.
What's again? Yeah, because of fear like this. You are angry for no reason. Basic bucin.
All of those answers could only be spoken by Herdi in his heart. In fact, the man still looked down while saying. "I'm sorry, sir."
"Okay, this time I'm sorry. But none of this will happen a second time. Now deliver me to him" said Ervin coldly.
Arriving at the room, he could hear clearly the splashing sound of water in his bathroom. With a worried look on his face, Ervin knocked on his door hoping to get an answer from inside.
"Babies? Are you inside? You're okay, right? Let's go to the hospital, you should get checked out!" Ervin spoke nonstop right in front of the bathroom door.
"Laras, what's the matter with you?"
