Secret Denis

"Have you any word where Icha is now?" Rania looked at a man who stood politely before her.

"I'm sorry madam. We haven't got the position, miss. The information we got, lady came with a woman named Mariana. But after we checked into Mariana's residence, it turns out that miss is not there." The man slumped his face. Both hands were cupped under his stomach. There was a feeling of guilt for not being able to meet the expectations of his employer.

"How can you lose track of Icha? It should be easier, right?" Rania stood up from her seat. His voice was a little high and frustrating. His finger pressed down on the middle of his forehead. Eyes closed.

"I'm sorry, madam." The man did not dare to raise his face. He stood still waiting for the next direction from the master.

Rania flicked her hand telling the man to leave in front of her. He sat back down after the man disappeared behind the door.

Andres arrived shortly afterwards. He sat next to his wife. Looked at the tired face of his wife. There was disappointment on the beautiful face of his wife.

"No need to despair. At least we know Icha's fine and she's getting closer to us. Believe me, soon you'll meet." His words tried to comfort Rania.

"Thank you.."

"I'll tell our men to keep looking for Icha. We'll find him soon." Andres gently rubbed Rania's hand. The woman looked at her husband full of days. The thin smile on his lips. Andres' gaze fell on those lips. Staring back at his wife's eyes at a glance, then landed a soft kiss on Rania's lips.

"You need to be more relaxed, not to be so tense. Think about your own health."

"I'm doing fine. You don't have to worry about me."

"How could I not worry. You're more focused on searching for Icha now. You forgot all the others."

"You jealous?"

"Little."

"I have to how? I've wasted all my time with Icha. Now he's not with us. I just realized all my mistakes with him. It's not just the mother who feels sorry, I, as her birth mother, am even more sorry."

"We're going to fix everything. You don't have to feel guilty like this. Icha will definitely forgive all your past mistakes."

Rania looked at her husband. Touching Andres' face gently.

"I'm very lucky to have you. Thanks for everything."

"I'm also sorry that all this time I've been disrespectful to your mother. I just don't like his attitude towards you."

"I understand. If you're not the one defending me, I don't know how I'm living my life here. You know for yourself how my mother behaved to me. I'm like a stranger in mom's eyes."

"That's it. Don't think about it too much. Now, we better get some rest. You've wasted your time with me. Don't let you regret it for making me disappointed."

Rania laughed softly. Poking her hand around Andres' neck while looking gently at her husband.

"You're right. All this time I paid less attention to you. I'm sorry."

"You're apologizing too much for today. Leave it for tomorrow. I'm sure you still need that word for me." Andres kissed Rania's lips at the end of her sentence.

"Too many mistakes to you. I'll always apologize to you." The woman spoke in front of her husband's lips.

"I will always forgive you, my wife."

Andres put their lips together again. One of his hands slid down his wife's knee. Lifting Rania's body carefully and taking her to their room.

The cold night bears witness to the unification of the love of two people who have been ignoring each other. It turns out that by talking to each other, everything feels easier.

Elsewhere at the same time, Tania and Bhishma were in the workspace of Arga Dinata. The two of them seemed to be seriously discussing a secret topic between them.

"I don't want to know, my friend. You have to make sure my suspicions aren't right. I can't calm down before everything's clear."

"You can't go overboard like this, baby. Trust me. I eliminated it myself. With my own hands. There's no way he survived. Don't drive yourself crazy with these absurd thoughts."

"I really can't think right now. I'm going crazy about this."

"Don't panic, honey. Come onl. How about we have some fun? You should forget about this for a moment."

"I can't calm down before everything is clear. Don't divert our conversation..."

Bhishma immediately silenced the woman's mouth with her lips. Makes the woman not wart. But Tania's consciousness soon returned. He pushed the body of Bhishma violently. His eyes looked at the man.

"Please Bhishma. This is not the time for that. I really can't calm down right now."

"Come Tania. Why panic like this. Everything was just your guess. Anyway, you know I'm not gonna stay put letting something mess with all our plans. You know me, right?"

"Don't ignore the fact that you've failed before, Bhishma. And you may fail a second time."

"That's because of the stupidity of my men, Tania. And I made sure I never failed with my own hands."

Tania grunted in annoyance.

"Did you see the body yourself? No right? What if he survived that time?" The woman flocked the Bhishma with questions. Bisma growls softly. He did not see Alex's body. But I'm sure he made the boy a corpse. He shot Alex in the chest himself. With his own hands. And before his own eyes, the blood-soaked body fell into a deep abyss. According to his logic, there was no way Alex would survive under such circumstances. Moreover, the place where he executed was far from the reach of the population. There's very little chance anyone will help Alex.

"I'm going to sleep now. Don't bother me." Tania's voice jerked her from her wishful thinking. Without waiting for an answer from Bhishma, Tania walked out of the room with a huffed step.

"Tania..." The sound of the bisma hanging. He stared at the woman's departure and pecked in annoyance. How could the woman be so riled up just because of a nightmare she had last night. It started with a phone call on behalf of an old friend of Alex who claimed not to know about Alex's death. And according to Tania, it felt very awkward. Given the news of Alex's death that was very shocking to the media at that time. No one could not know about the news.

Now the woman is inflamed. Teasing the peace of Bhishma after being able to muffle the confusing news about Alex's accident and death.

The cell phone out of his pants pocket. Pressing one number and without waiting for a long time the person he was referring to from the end of the phone.

"Have you managed to trace that number?"

"........"

"Make sure everything is safe under control."

"........"

Bhishma closed her call harshly. Then he came out of the room. It's almost midnight. But he still had to make sure of something, before he could sleep in peace.

A thin floor mattress tucked in the middle. The only thing in the room. It was also given by the owner of the cost with an indistinct grunt from his mouth.

"At least we have a place to shelter." Alex said when he saw Denis just standing and staring wildly at the whole room.

Denis did not answer. He had no problem if he had to sleep with that minimal state. The problem was, they were just the two of them in that cramped room. And it's a little bit of a disruption to his heart health.

Without caring about Denis, Alex sprawled his body in the thin mattress. For now, he won't dispute that.

"You still want to stand there?" Alex's eyes were closed again. Memicing looked at Denis who was still in the original position.

Slowly Denis sat himself on the edge of the thin mattress. He puts his hands on both knees. Without saying anything.

"Sleep Denis. We need to rest."

"Lo first."

Alex did not speak anymore. His eyes were back closed. Tiredness swept through his entire body. After a long trip from the village where Mr. Mijan to this city, spent a short time in the bus, his body felt very crumpled. He wanted to rest his body for a moment.

Fortunately, Mariana helped them get a contract quickly. Although far from decent, but at least he and Denis can get a place to shelter from the heat and rain.

This house is not too far from where Mariana cost. Just a few blocks apart. But it's in the alley. Unlike Mariana who was on the front and facing the road.

After warning Mariana to keep their identities a secret, Denis and Alex separate secretly from Mariana. They have to be careful about the smallest things. Especially after getting news from Anwar that there are people looking for Denis to the house of Mr. Mijan.

Denis threw his body down next to Alex. His eyes looked straight at the ceiling of the room whose paint color was blurry. As he thinks at the moment.

Who's looking for him at Mr Mijan's house? Is that his mother's man? Wh-wh-what for? Don't they care about him?

Denis folded his hands behind his head. Think about what he will do tomorrow. His eyes that were still staring at the room sky slowly dimmed and finally closed tightly with his smooth breath that seemed to be starting to get regular.

"You know this area?" Alex asked doubtfully. All his life living in Jakarta, he just found out that in the middle of the magnificent capital there was a slum and not livable. An irregularly stacked house in a very narrow alley. Just enough for one person to walk. The stale smell greatly stifles the sense of smell. Not to mention the flowing sewage water drawn black. Occasionally a large mouse passed through the hidden holes.

Denis kept his foot down that narrow alley. Occasionally he had to stop and tilt his body when passing by other pedestrians. Alex just stalked Denis from behind. Sometimes he shook his head not believing there was such a place behind these luxurious buildings.

"You sure you know this place?" Still curious because it has not received an answer from Denis.

"Yes." Yeah."

Looks like they're almost at the end of the alley. Seemed like a vehicle in front of there. Alex is getting excited about following Denis. Two men appear to be walking towards them. His hair was fluttering with their firm steps.

"Bang Jack! Nerrows!" Denis called the two. He seemed happy to meet someone he knew.

"Dennis!!" The two people accelerated their steps. Pitting each other's fists and patting on the shoulder hard enough. They seemed very enthusiastic when they met each other.

The man called bang Jack grabbed Denis by the shoulder and shook him, showing his delight.

"Where have you been?" Then his gaze fell on Alex who was standing slightly behind Denis' body.

Denis just grinned without answering the man's question. He prefers to greet the man he calls Nerrow in the same way he did to Jack bang.

"Wahh! Long time no see Den. Gua kira dah Innalillahi..Haha.." The man punches Denis in the shoulder, which Denis responds to with a small ring.

"We talked in basecamp. Yup!" Jack turned his steps. They walked to the mouth of the alley. Denis introduced Alex to the two men they had just met while walking.

They entered a door in the wall of the alley. The small door that was even to pass through them had to slightly subdue his body. A barn room greeted them as soon as their bodies passed through that door. A lot of stuff is in there. There was a shabby sofa located on the inside. They're sitting there. Nerrow took a drink from a small refrigerator in the corner of the room.

"Where are you guys going?" Denis asked while opening the cover.

"You go to Andro's house across the street. Do you remember him?"

Denis frowned. Remembering the name mentioned by Jack.

"If you don't want to. Now a story about you. Where have you been all this time? Crazy lu. Saying not saying."

Denis chuckles.

"The two ran away from home."

"The gua knows you're running away. But where are you going?"

Denis sighed before retelling his journey all along. Everything he told the two men. Jack and Nerrow listened seriously to Denis' story. Sometimes they pause to emphasize again Denis' story. Alex just agreed to everything Denis told his two friends.

"Now what are you two planning?" Jack asked after Denis had finished telling his story.

"First now, I need a job. I need money for my daily needs.."

"That's what you're calm about. Money is a minor problem. You can take the cave." Jack quickly nodded. "Where do you live now?"

Denis mentioned the address where he contracted.

"Why don't you go straight to the cave? You don't have to pay rent if it's the same cave." The man called Nerrow said.

"Sorry, I don't think about you. We came with friends. He's a nawarin place. Yes, we took it."

They talked for a long time in that place. Alex would occasionally make a sound, even if someone asked him. He felt uncomfortable actually being among those people. But he's trying to keep up with those guys. He has no other choice. Maybe this is the path he must go through to be able to uncover one big lie that has been hidden.
