Ninety Two
Alex was in a great confusion. He fought in two choices. Keep it a secret or say it at that time with risks that he can not imagine what will happen after. She was so scared of losing Denis. Even just to face his anger he felt unable to. Especially if the girl intends to withdraw from her wedding plans. That was so horrible.
The doctor had talked to her about the worst possible thing that could happen to Reno. They have no other way but to submit to the will of the Almighty.
Alex accepts that if only Reno was really his sister. One blood sister from the same father. He will sincerely accept his destiny to be left behind by all those who are referred to as family.
But now it's different. Ever since he knew the one secret that Bhishma had, Alex's peace of mind had been disturbed. Maybe he should have told Denis this frankly. However, Alex was too afraid to face the reaction of the girl.
"Alexes.." Denis touched Alex's hand. He held it warm with the man's hand. His eyes that were as still as the morning dew stared gently at the face of the man who looked very agitated.
"Calm yourself. I'm sure Reno will survive." His voice was very soft, like the mountain water that pervaded every niche of Alex's heart. But one reality that Alex still hides is like a barrier stone that is stuck and difficult to remove.
"Dennis.." Alex's breath was stuck. His mouth was already open to say that, but it clenched back and held back its twisted tongue.
Soft golden felt in Alex's fingers. The girl seemed to know that Alex was in a big dilemma. His eyes were fixed on Alex's face, waiting for whatever the man would say.
"The doctor said Reno's condition is very, very bad." Alex swallowed his saliva before continuing what he wanted to say. "I.had told the lawyer to tell Om Bhishma about Reno's situation."
"Who?" Denis seemed to want to make sure that his hearing was not in trouble when he heard the name called.
"Om Bisma.." Alex strengthened his heart to tell the truth right then and there.
Denis frowned. His eyes turned dark at this moment. His calm face had turned slightly hardened upon hearing the name called.
"Why?"
Alex looked at the girl's eyes in turn. Holding those eyes to keep looking at him.
"Reno..Reno Biological son of Om Bhishma.."
"What?!" Denis's eyes widened. His hand was released. "You're kidding me, aren't you?"
"No." Alex shook his head. "i'm serious. He's Om's son Bhishma. Not my father's son." Alex sighed softly. There was some relief as it escaped his lips. Now it's just waiting for the reaction of the girl. Whatever it is, he has to face it.
Denis stunned. His eyes stared at the silent hallway of the hospital. Only the sound of monitors from Reno's room was heard decorating the atmosphere at that time.
"You must be lying." Smell his voice. As if I couldn't accept what Alex had just said. One corner of his lips lifted. She smiled smirk. When he looked at Alex, there were clear glasses covering his eyes.
"You lied, right? Why are you telling me this?" His voice was slow and deep. Slightly trembling as it held tightness in his chest.
Alex nodded slowly. Highlight his eyes were glaring and full of regret returning the girl's pushy gaze.
"I'm sorry. But this is the real truth. I had to tell you this. I'm afraid this is the end of Reno's life. You have to know the truth. I don't want to regret having covered this up from you."
"When did you know this?" I don't mind Alex's words.
"I also found out not too long ago. Trust me, I always thought of Reno as my sister. I don't want him to end this way."
Denis got up from his seat in a huff. A bitter grin adorned his face that turned away from Alex's gaze.
"I don't believe this."
"I'm sorry. Honestly, I don't want to tell you this. I'd rather hide this from you all my life than see you hurt like this."
"Do you think I'm hurt?" Denis looked at the man. "You're the one who got hurt, right? I wasn't. I don't even wonder if that's the truth."
"Dennis.."
"Yet you have shown that I am not worthy of you. I'm way too low compared to you who's always been hurt by that guy. I..we shouldn't have this relationship.."
And those words were like lightning striking down with its throat. That's what Alex was afraid of. And now what he feared had already been thrown out of the girl's mouth.
"I need to think about us again.."
"Denis.don't.." Alex choked. He was very weak when facing this girl. The word that the girl had just spoken was like a huge boulder hitting her chest and squeezing her until she had trouble breathing.
Perhaps one would think that he was too naive when facing the girl. But that's what he is. He loved and loved that girl too much. The incredible love he just felt for someone. A love she never felt before. And he didn't want to lose that love. Even imagining it he couldn't.
But fate is playing tricks on him. I don't know what else he'll face after this. The girl's words were like she was thrusting a sword into her heart slowly. Very sick and painful.

The power of prayer from parents is truly miraculous. No matter how evil, as depraved as any human being, he always wanted the best for his daughter's son. They will sincerely pray for good and safety for their daughter's son.
So too with Bhishma and Tania. After learning of Reno's critical condition in the hospital, they solemnly pray for the best for their son. Separately, they bow their heads before the Creator. Arise your hands expectantly and humbly above all the power of the Almighty. No one can give us any good or salvation except Him.
Regretful tears drenched the faces of those who docked with their prostration.
They want to be next to their son who is struggling with death. But what power, their current state is not possible.
Alex has already told his lawyer to plead to be able to present Bisma or Tania at the hospital. But his efforts did not succeed. Authorities rejected his request.
That night Alex was still accompanying Reno in his cold room. Denis sat quietly beside him with a stiff face. He hasn't talked much since Alex told him about Reno.
The monitor that monitors Reno's body condition still reads regularly. So too with Reno's body. Seemed calm with his breathing down and up normally. Looks like a sleeping person in general.
Rania had already told Davin to deliver dinner for the two men. Although only a few touch Denis, but at least he did not empty his stomach at all.
Alex hasn't told Rania anything. He thinks this is not the right time. Reno still needs attention from her. After all, she did not want to make her future mother-in-law worried about the continuity of their wedding which will be held in a few days.
Alex sighed softly. He turned his gaze from Reno's body towards Denis who was leaning on the sofa with his eyes closed. Both of his hands were folded in the chest. Ever since Alex told me about who Reno really is, Denis has preferred to be quiet and not talk much.
Alex's outstretched hand touched the girl's head.
Denis's eyes opened as he felt Alex's hand warm in his head.
"sorry. I woke you up." Alex said slowly.
Denis did not answer. He slightly shifted his seat away from Alex.
"Darling.."
Denis closed his eyes at the desperate call from Alex's lips. His heart hurts. But he knew, as hurt as Alex felt due to the actions of a man named Bhishma. It wasn't just once the man hurt Alex's heart and soul. Bhishma also tried several times to kill Alex, even in front of Denis himself.
And now, one more fact that Denis just found out that Reno is the child of the Bisma affair with Tania. It made Denis' confidence fall to the bottom of the abyss in Alex's eyes. He can't accept that.
"If you're sleepy, just sleep. Or, you want to go home?" Alex asked as he looked at Denis sitting at the end of the sofa.
Denis did not answer immediately. His eyes straightened towards Reno who was lying on top of the gurney.
"See." He pointed towards Reno.
"What?" Alex followed Denis's point of view.
Alex immediately got up from his seat and walked over to where Reno was lying. Denis followed the man and stood beside Alex.
Their attention was focused on Reno who had just opened her eyes.
