Thirty Six

In the grand house of the Wijaya family, Rania had just entered her mother's room which was on the top floor. Madam Aryanti was standing near the window of her room when Rania entered. He looked at his daughter who was approaching. His face was flat and again threw his gaze out the window.

Rania kissed her mother's right cheek for a long time. Smiling looking at his mother who was still silent did not return his treatment.

"Mom how are you?" Soft question. Aryanti did not answer immediately. He sighed and exhaled slowly.

"As you can see. Now she's a useless person.." He said more about a complaint. Rania shook her head slowly. Feeling sad to hear the words of his mother who looked very desperate.

"Why do you talk like that. Mom is still the same as before. My mother was the most influential person in the company. Mother's words are still a command for us. And most importantly, she is still a mother to us. The most important person in our lives."

"Don't comfort mom. You rarely see your mother. I'm no longer considered by you." Aryanti turned her face away. Hiding the disappointment in his face.

"I can't accompany my mother too often because I'm currently focusing on looking for Icha. He is getting closer to us. It's just that God still hasn't allowed me to meet him." Hearing the name of her grandson being called, Aryanti turned her head back with a sharp glint.

"You are too slow to act. Can't be relied on." He turned his face back.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. I promise, I'll find Icha soon enough." Lirih voice Rania answered her mother's scorn. He felt guilty for not being able to find Icha immediately.

"But he seems to be fine. It's just, my men have trouble getting the exact address because he keeps moving around. That's according to information from our people." Aryanti seemed silent. His eyes stared blankly at the expanse of the park below for a while.

"That's it. I've already told people to investigate this matter. Just focus on the company."

"So you don't trust me to find my own son?"

"Mom will handle this matter for yourself. If you want to search your way, go ahead. Mother will not forbid. Let's see who will find Icha first." Rania was speechless trying to digest everything her mother said. It seemed like the woman in front of him had returned to being an indisputable woman. Reigning firmly and showing his power.

"Well, if that's what mom wants. But you should focus on your health. Don't think too hard. I just trust everything to me. I also really want to see Icha soon. I miss him so much. Just like mom.."

"I'll be even harder at finding information about Icha's friends." Rania sighed softly. "It's all my fault. I don't even know who Icha's friends are. I don't know who he's hanging out with. I don't know anything about him.." His eyes had started to heat up and were inundated with clear liquid.

Aryanti was still speechless with her flat face. It was not that he did not feel the sadness felt by his daughter. But that is his true nature. He does not shed tears easily. She is a tough and hard-hearted woman.

Aryanti tightened the folds of her hand. Letting Rania out of her room without saying anything more. He glimpsed his daughter's shadow with the corner of his eye. And when the door was closed carrying the shadow of Rania's body behind it, secretly the tip of her finger rubbed the corner of her slightly wet eyes.

In his heart hope, may God still give him the opportunity to meet with Icha and make up for all his past mistakes.

Denis and Jack's reconnaissance was not in vain. A car came out of the garage. Although it does not look who and how many people in the car, but it is enough to show Denis that the house that looks empty is not maintained it was inhabited. Is not it very strange if the house that looks dirty from the outside it turns out there is occupying in the inside.

"Gue's gonna find out there." Denis pointed at the house with his chin. Jack and Nerrow looked at each other.

Without waiting for long, Denis moves towards the house with Nerrow following him from behind.

"Be careful Den. We don't know the people in there." Whisper Nerrow. Denis nodded in understanding. They went straight to the garage door that had opened because it took the car out of it. The garage door was closed. Just leaving a little gap on one side.

Two large-bodied men immediately confronted Denis and Nerrow who were sitting near the garage door. Staring suspiciously at the two uninvited guests in front of them. They're trying to get Denis and Nerrow out of there. But of course Denis paid no heed to the man's words. He insisted on entering the house even though the two guards were visibly sad and could not be taken lightly.

Fights are inevitable. Denis and Nerrow were not given a chance to convene again because the two men believed Denis and Nerrow's presence around the house must have been very threatening to their existence there. While Denis is increasingly convinced, the house is a hiding place for people who are looking for. Seen from the way the men were protecting the house and directly attacked Denis.

Nerrow's ability in fighting turned out to be quite decent as well. Denis only focused on one strong man and the other faced by Nerrow. Apparently their opponents were highly trained and experts in martial arts. Surely they were paid professionals who were deliberately hired to guard the place.

But Denis' abilities are still above those guys. Although it took a long time, but eventually he and Nerrow managed to overthrow the two guards. Denis' hand waved at Jack who was watching from a distance. Jack swiftly came over and acted according to Denis' direction.

He tied the two men up and took them into a garage they had sealed up. After securing the two men, Denis and Nerrow enter a house that turns out to be wider than it seems from the outside.

Tracing space by space carefully, looking for the whereabouts of the inhabitants of the house. But they did not find what they were looking for downstairs. They're moving upstairs. Even on the top floor they again had to swallow disappointed because they found nothing. All the rooms are uninhabited and seem to have never been occupied for quite a long time.

Denis breathed a disappointed breath. With a heavy heart he invited Nerrow to leave the place immediately.

Two men who were still tied hands and feet grimaced when they got a kick from Jack. They are being questioned about the whereabouts of the owner of the house. But of course they would rather get a kick from Jack than have to tell the truth.

"We don't know anything. We're just getting paid to look after this house. Besides we don't know anything." Say one of them.

Denis and Nerrow get out of the house. Seeing his two friends who came empty-handed made Jack suspect that they found nothing in the house.

"There's nothing inside. Just let them go. I think we're wrong." Denis said as he looked at the two men curled up in the corner of the room. The two men breathed a sigh of relief hearing Denis. Their eyes stared at each other and there was a thin smile that barely seemed printed on their lips.

"Lo sure there's nothing in there?" Jack looked at Denis as if he could not believe what his best friend had just said.

"Gue same Nerrow's been checking all over the place. But nothing suspicious. No room was missed. We all check." Denis' words were taken by Nerrow. He felt sure that he and Denis had checked the whole house.

"So, are we gonna take them out?" Jack convinces her before she actually unties her two captives.

"So much for sure." Denis signals Nerrow to untie the two. But before they touched the bond to be removed, there was the sound of a car entering the yard of the house. A honking sound was heard asking for the garage door to be opened immediately. Everyone inside looked at each other.
