"Alex!! Watch out!!" A scream followed by the clattering of legs ran towards Alex's body. But the footsteps never reached Alex when another voice sounded so deafening.

Dorr!!

"Thank you!!!" A woman's hysterical shriek was heard echoing in the middle of a large, high room. Screams from other visitors were heard making a boisterous atmosphere instantly.

All eyes were focused on a collapsed body on the restaurant floor. Blood started to pool around his body.

Alex was in his place. Staring at the figure that had just collapsed not far from where he was standing. A woman hugged the body and screamed hysterically calling out one name.

Realizing from his behavior, Alex ran over to the woman.

"Dennis!!" His lips trembled at the figure that was in the woman's arms. He immediately dropped his knee next to the body that had been drenched in blood.

"Dennis! Blood!" Alex immediately pulls Denis' body from the woman's lap. His shaking hands took over Denis' body in his lap. At that time Denis' eyes were still open and saw Alex scooping his body. The eyes were then closed and unconscious.

The woman in front of Alex roared and immediately collapsed into the arms of a man who came after Alex.

"Prepare the car!" Alex yelled at Faisal. Regardless of the circumstances around him, Alex immediately lifted Denis body and half ran he brought the body out of there.

In one corner of the room, just a few meters away, a man was fixated on staring at the hysterically crying woman holding the body of the recently shot bullet from the gun he was holding. Unknowingly, the gun fell out of his hand and clinked to the floor.

The man's lips trembled calling out the name that the woman had shouted.

"Icha?" His his hiss with legs that felt unsteady and lost its strength.

Nanar he looked at Alex who ran carrying Denis' body followed by a woman who for years he never cared about anymore.

The hospital's emergency room was so tense. Alex stood near the operating room door with a face full of worry. A doctor has reported that they have successfully removed the bullet lodged in Denis' left shoulder. Luckily, the bullet didn't hit any vital organs. But the bad news is Denis lost too much blood. And the blood supply for the same blood type as Denis is empty.

Rania and Andres immediately volunteered to have her blood checked. They hope his blood matches and can donate his blood to Denis. Not to forget Alex and Faisal also immediately came to be examined.

And be grateful for them, when it turns out Alex's blood is suitable to be a donor for Denis.

Alex is currently lying in a cage next to the cage where Denis is lying. Almost Alex did not blink his eyes looking at the face of Denis who was receiving blood from him. That face is so pale.

Alex remains in Denis's nursery after the blood donation process is complete. Sitting next to Denis and endlessly staring at that face. It was as if for the first time he had seen that face. Yes, although he often saw Denis, but all this time he saw Denis as a man. Not as a woman. And now, it felt so strange after knowing the true facts. Although there was relief and happiness in his heart.

The call from Faisal distracted him. Alex got up and slightly moved away from Denis who was still unconscious. His body still felt a little weak after the blood draw process earlier.

"What?? How come??" Alex pressed down his voice so as not to shout at the information Faisal had just delivered. He turned his head slightly towards the cage where Denis was lying.

Faisal is currently at the police station with Rania and Andres. They are giving testimony to the police for the incident.

The man who shot Denis has been arrested by the police, and he turns out to be Bhishma. The target was of course Alex, but what happened was that the bullet was lodged in Denis' body. Alex didn't know when Denis was there. What's the matter until Denis gets there?

After Faisal's call was over, it was Viola's turn to call him.

"How's Denis doing?"

Alex looked at Denis.

"He's not conscious yet. But it's been handled well."

"Are you going to be with him tonight?"

There was doubt in the voice of the woman who had almost become her fiance.

"It looks so." Alex took a breath. He knew it had hurt Viola's feelings. Yet he had no other choice at the moment other than to follow what his heart said.

Viola was also very surprised to know one fact that was revealed. Denis is a woman. Just like her. It hit her feelings very much. So all this time, what he was worried about Alex and Denis was not a fantasy. This was more than he had expected all along.

Viola's phone was still stuck in the ear when Alex disconnected the phone because Viola was silent for a long time.

"It just so happened that my blood matched Denis's. And, just call Alex." Alex smiled faintly. Andrespun smiled back at Alex's smile.

"I didn't expect we would meet under these circumstances. We were supposed to meet this afternoon, right?"

"Yes, I'm sorry for not being able to see you this afternoon. There's something else I need to finish."

"No problem. We can arrange a meeting at a later time."

Alex nodded.

"It's late, baby. Let me take you home." Andres spoke to his wife.

"I don't want to go home, Andres. I want to be here with my daughter." Rania answered without taking her gaze away from Denis.

"If you let me, let me take care of Denis." Alex's words made Andres and Rania turn to him.

"I've had the same situation with Denis. Shot by the same man. And Denis has taken very good care of me. Now, let me take care of Denis." Alex looked at the two people in turn. His eyes showed great sincerity in his words.

"You, have you ever been shot by Bhishma?" Rania was shocked to hear Alex's words.

"Yes..." Then Alex told Rania and Andres everything she had ever experienced. Rania is very shocked to hear everything Alex has to say.

Alex was alone in the room guarding Denis.

The door was knocked not long after Rania and Andres came out and displayed Faisal from behind.

"If you need anything, I'm outside, sir."

"Thank you, Faisal."

Faisal went back out of the room, sitting alone in the waiting chair in front of the room where Denis was.
