Thirty Eight

The metallic black car entered the garage opened by one of the well-built guards. Occasionally the man's eyes looked at the driver of the car who was focused on parking his car. The sturdy man repeatedly moved his eyeballs to seek the attention of the driver of the car. But the man did not seem to realize the slightest bit of code given by the man who opened the garage door. Until when a telephone ringing from inside the garage sounds very loud when the car engine starts to stop.

The driver's man raised his gaze in slight surprise and circulated his gaze. He accidentally saw a shadow behind a pile of cardboard in the corner of the room. And he just realized the gaze of the house guard man who was highlighting right into his eyes and gave a code to immediately leave the place. The man seemed to understand. He turned the engine back on and immediately rewinded the car to get out of the garage.

Behind the car, Nerrow tries to get closer. But the rapid movement of the car is quite dangerous. It seemed like the man in the car would not hesitate to bump into Nerrow if only the man had not jumped to the side.

In a moment the car was out of the garage. The sound of the tires colliding with the asphalt sounded very painful when the car turned sharply and shot at high speed leaving the place.

"Damn!!" Denis jumped out of hiding. His eyes shot a sharp glare towards the man who opened the garage door earlier.

"Give me the key!! Hurry up!!" Nervously the man reached into his jacket pocket and gave Denis the key. Denis rudely took the key and immediately boarded the bike that was there.

"Our business is not finished!" His finger pointed straight at the man. "Urus they bang. I was chasing the car!" He said to Jack. After that he immediately darted away from the place using the man's motorbike.

Denis' sharp eyes continued to move in search of his fleeing prey before being ambushed. He had been recalling the number of the car ever since it started entering the garage. Actually, the position was very safe and there was no way the man in the car would know if there were people hiding in the garage. Denis believes the man who opened the door betrayed him by telling the driver of the car. Though previously Denis had threatened the man so as not to tell his whereabouts there in any way. But apparently the threat is useless at all.

At first he had little hope of ever being able to figure out Alex's whereabouts if he could ambush the person in the car. Although the driver of the car is not the person he is hunting, but the suspicion that the person has something to do with Bisma and Tania is getting stronger after seeing the car even run away from the house. If he had nothing to do with a crime, then why would he have to run away once he knew there was someone else in the garage besides the guards?

Denis keeps his eyes off until he loses the car he was looking for. Luck was still on his side when he suddenly saw a car that was exactly the same as the car he was looking for. But what is it? A traffic police car was next to him. It looks like the car was just dismissed by the police. Given how the car drove, there is a possibility that he was dismissed by the police for running the car at high speed.

Denis pulled over the bike he was riding. The phone keeps ringing in his pants pocket. Deringan was also the one that made the driver of the car run away. Denis cursed himself why not switch to silent mode on his phone.

His eyes again watched the car whose driver was still being interrogated by police.

"Hallo's? Alex?"

"Gue is following the car again. Your business is done yet?" Denis spoke while continuing to pay attention to the car that was still dealing with the police. It appears that the policeman is writing the identity of the driver. The distance is far enough to make Denis a bit difficult in seeing the face of the driver of the car.

"You should find an excuse so you can buy their time. Don't give it up. I will continue to help you." Denis spoke to Alex.

In front of there the police seem to have finished their business with the black driver. Leaving behind the black car which then drove behind him.

Denis ended his conversation with Alex. Soon he put the phone in his pants pocket and started the engine. His sharp eyes kept a close eye on the car that was already far ahead and joined the other vehicles.

Denis rushed his bike to leave the place. But a scream made him brake his motor suddenly. A girl who was about to cross the street almost got hit by a Denis motorbike. Denis' attention was distracted. Some people who were around the place immediately arrived and shrouded the scene.

"Lo gapapa?" Denis looked at the girl who was stunned to see Denis. His face was pale, probably still shocked by the incident just now.

"Mas Denis?"

Denis frowned. He looked at the girl in front of him and he was quite surprised to see who was now standing in front of him.

"Madiana?"

Seeing the interaction of two people who were almost involved in an unwanted incident made the people who had been huddled immediately disperse. There lived Denis and Mariana in that place who hardly cared about the situation around them.

"Mariana, sorry. I was in a hurry. I have to go now." Denis turned the engine back on. The car he was following had already disappeared from his eyes.

"Wait, Mom!" Mariana tried to keep Denis' bike from leaving. But Denis really has to get out of there. He did not want to lose the car he was following.

"Mariana, I have to go now." Without caring for Mariana, Denis immediately left the place. Mariana shouted Denis' name and still stood there staring at Denis who was getting further away.

"Oh yes. I forget. I have to tell Denis' mother." Mariana immediately pulled out her phone. Take a photo of Denis who's been away from where he's standing. Then look up Denis's mother's name in her cell phone contact.

"Geez, why is it so hard to contact Denis' mother." Mariana muttered to herself, irritated at repeatedly contacting Denis' mother but apparently the woman's phone was off. Mariana finally gave up. He thought maybe he could contact the woman later. He put his phone back in and stepped into a cafe across the street where he was scavenging for sustenance.

Andres had just shaken the hand of a young entrepreneur who had just made a business deal with him. A handsome and talented young man. The son of a well-known businessman who is very respected in the business world.

"I'm very lucky to work with your company." The man's grip felt very strong in Andres's hand. Smiles are drawn by both of them.

"I am even more honored to be able to do business with the successor of Arga Dinata. I often heard the name of your father and also your famous sister. Too bad I can't meet him right now."

"On my father's name, I apologize. He could not attend this very important meeting because of his ill health. Maybe next time he'll take the time to meet you." The young man was Reno. He spoke politely to the man who was already his business partner. Andres smiled. He was very impressed with Reno's character at the time.

"I'm sorry for not knowing that Mr. Arga Dinata is not well. I am also very sorry for the death of the eldest son of Mr. Arga Dinata. I heard the news but have not had time to meet with Mr. Arga Dinata directly to say condolences."

Reno smiled miris. Not once did he get a speech like that. Although the incident has passed long enough, but there are still people who discuss it if they meet him. Sometimes he gets tired of hearing that. But he had to keep the image in front of people, let alone Andres' classmate who was a very important business partner.

He also knows that people know Alex better than he does. He also knew that his papa would entrust the current affairs more to Alex than to him.

"Maybe I should clarify one thing to you at this moment." Reno took a deep breath. After all, people will finally know the truth.

Andres scrunched his forehead. He looked at the young man before him curiously.

"Clearned? About what?"

"My brother. You may have heard that he died in an accident. He survived the accident and is now back home. We are so grateful for that."

"Alex survived the accident?" Andres was surprised.

"Yes. My sister is back now. But there are still some things he has to finish, so he can't meet you yet. Maybe in the future, you'll meet my brother more often than with me." Reno smiled faintly. He then ended the pleasantries that were enough to make his mood worsen. He withdrew from the place and immediately left Andres who was still there. She is still shocked to hear Reno's statement that her brother survived an accident that has reportedly claimed his life.

There are a lot of questions for Andres. But then he realized that it was none of his business. He was quite happy to hear that Arga Dinata's son, who had been declared dead, was still alive.
