Seventy Two

Alex pulls Denis' hand away from Rania and Andres. A park bench in the hospital yard was his choice.

"What makes you think of putting yourself at risk?"

"Why? Problems for you? It's my life. Don't care about my life." Denis answered.

"What's? You said I care?" Alex widens his eyes. "I really care about you. Can't you feel it? And yes, stop with the lo-gue between us."

Denis grunts quietly.

"I love you. And I know you feel the same way as I do. I don't want anything bad to happen to you. As you have always protected me, I will do the same to you."

"Gue never did anything to you."

"Alex! Lo.."

"Oh my God." Denis retreated his legs in panic. His face was red from Alex's unexpected kiss. His eyes were wild all around the place afraid that someone would see what Alex was doing to him. They're in a public place, if Alex forgets.

"I told you there's no 'lo-gue' between us. It's the result if you don't want to obey me." There was no joking expression on Alex's face. His eyes were intimidating.

"Gh.." Denis swallowed his words again. Reflexes her hands cupped her lips. It made a restrained smile on Alex's lips. It's funny to see Denis. The person who had always looked cold and stiff turned out to have another side in him that had really never been seen by anyone before.

His feet approached Denis. Draw Denis' hand to sit on the bench of the park near them.

"I'll call Mbak Fani. Maybe he can help us get a donor who's a good fit for grandma." Next to his hand looking for contact mbak Fani. The other hand held Denis' hand tightly. It was as if she was afraid that the girl would run away while she was busy with her phone.

Alex sighed softly after hanging up the phone. His eyes turned to look at Denis. He put his fingers on Denis' fingers.

For a moment the two stared at each other.

"I love you so much. I don't want anything unwanted to happen to you."

Stopped for a moment to see the girl's reaction.

"Rethink your intention to donate a kidney to your grandmother. That's very risky. I don't want you to regret it."

"A. I'm sure of my decision." His tongue was used to the word 'lo-gue' when talking to Alex. And now it suddenly has to change. Of course it feels very strange.

"I don't want to be selfish. I know Grandma needs my kidneys so badly right now. Let me give you a piece of me as long as I get my family back. I have never struggled to get my family. I'm cool with my own world and I don't care about them. That's what makes them dislike me even more. I should have tried better long ago so that I would get everyone's attention and affection." The voice of Denis.

"You're right, I'm a coward who always runs away from trouble. I even hid from my family to avoid everything. I let my identity go unnoticed by everyone. I shouldn't have done that."

It was Alex's turn to tighten his hand when he heard Denis' words.

"You're a really great girl that I admire. I like what you are. I can feel how deep your sadness is when you are away from the person you care about. I can also see what reasons you should run away from your family. I can decipher it. You are not guilty at all. You also do not need to be responsible for the pain suffered by your grandmother. Everyone can experience that. And anyone can be a kidney donor as long as they meet certain conditions. You don't have to do it."

"Sattack sir!" The woman called a security guard who happened to pass not far from the place. The man in the dark blue uniform immediately approached the person who called out to him.

Alex and Denis were surprised to see the seriousness of the woman reporting them.

"Can I help you, Mom?" The man asked politely.

"Let's see Sir. This is a gay couple making out in this hospital area. They can defame this place. Please secure them sir. No public place should be a place to be indecent. Especially if they are a gay couple. It's so embarrassing." The woman was relentless. Her lips so fondly so excited she was in complaining about Alex and Denis who she believed to be a same-sex couple.

"You two fuckin' pervert here?" The guard turned to Alex and Denis.

"No, Sir. We're just talking here." Alex is in denial.

"Where is the thief who wants to ngaku."

"We're not a thief, ma'am." Alex interrupts.

"Mother's right. No woman wants to be with him." Denis provokes. Alex glared at Denis. There seemed to be a witty twinkle in the girl's eyes. And trust me, Alex is getting more and more anxious to see it.

"Darling.."

"She heard?" The complainant woman screamed when she heard what Alex said to Denis. "She's calling her boyfriend dear to this homo."

"good. Good. Come on, you all come with me to the security office."

"But we didn't do anything, security guard." Alex welds. Denis seemed to be holding back his smile.

"Already, Sir. Just take them both."

"You're coming with me too, ma'am."

And they end up in the security office with strange gazes from everyone they've been through. The woman did not hesitate to continue nagging along the way until they were in the room.

Alex calls Andres and Rania to testify. No one believed her when she said Denis was a woman.

At first Denis was very confident when they were led into the security office. But when he was told to prove that he was a woman, there he only realized that he did not bring any identity card. His wallet was left in his room because he was originally out of the room just for breakfast, and there was no intention at all to get out of the house.

That made the woman increasingly convinced that the two men were same-sex enthusiasts. The commotion in the security room did not bother provoking the curiosity of some other people so as to make a little noise.

By force, Alex calls Andres and Rania to help them testify.

"What's this?" Rania comes in a bit of a panic when Alex says they are in trouble and need help from Rania and Andres as soon as possible.

Andres and Damian come along out of curiosity about what happened to Alex and Denis.

"Looky ma'am. This woman caught these two men perverting in the hospital garden."

"What?" Rania. His eyes glared at Alex and Denis alternately.

Alex shook his head, and so did Denis.

"I was just chatting with Denis, Miss Rania."

"The mother was convinced that they were same-sex couples who would pervert in public places." The security officer added.

"Well.what?" Rania was shocked for the second time.

"Do you know them?"

"What did you call them? Same-sex couples?"

"Mom said that." The security officer pointed to the mother of the complainant who seemed satisfied because he had managed to bring two people who he thought were very worthy of safekeeping.

"But you also see for yourself if the two people are indeed an unnatural couple. The same time men call-call dear all?"

"You call Denis 'honey'?" Rania turned to Alex.

"I love her, Miss Rania."

Denis cheeks flushed red as her mother looked at her with a seductive look. Alex only grimaced when he found Rania's eyes on him.

"Rubber, Alex? You kissed Denis?" Rania is getting tempted to tease Alex and Denis.

"No..It's just.." Alex scratched his non-itchy temple. Andres and Damian couldn't help but laugh. Seeing Alex being misbehaved is interrogated by Rania in front of everyone.

"alright. I love Denis. And here, in front of everyone, I beg you to bless our relationship. I want to marry this cantk girl." Without hesitation Alex clasped Denis' hand. Staring at him was full of feelings of great love as big as the world.

Everyone in there was stunned by Alex's statement. Rania was surprised followed by a happy expression. While people who still believe that Denis is a man are really surprised and feel it is something that is not normal.

Denis is another. Her face was flushed red withstanding the embarrassment of Alex's behavior. But there was a sense of happiness that filled his chest as Alex said that without the slightest hesitation to Rania.

"sorry. What is your relationship with these two?" Security officers interrupted. Everything was confusing for him at the moment.

"She is my daughter." Rania pointed to Denis. "Daughter yes. It means she's a girl." He emphasized the word 'princess' while looking at the whistleblower woman who seemed stunned by Rania's speech.

"He does look like that because it is his own personality. Please don't anyone put my daughter down."

"Dd..he's mom's daughter?" The woman really did not believe the information she had just obtained.

"Yes. I conceived her for nine months and gave birth to her in this world. I love him no matter what his circumstances. And I don't think it's strange that a woman looks like a man." Rania looked at the woman.

Now they have to face interrogation from Rania for the second round.
