Denis and Jack are meeting their friend who works at a nightclub after staking out a shophouse that Denis came to yesterday. He becomes a security guard at the place and is Jack's confidant.

While accompanying Jack to chat with the man, Denis' sharp eyes saw someone he had been avoiding. There, Alex was being swept out of the nightclub by a man. Another man followed behind him while continuing to stick his mobile phone in his ear.

It looks like the man is heavily drunk. It's really a mess. Denis stared at the lyrical man who for the past few months together with him lived life.

At first Denis only watched from a distance. But when he saw the man who had Alex start to reach into the pocket of his jacket, Denis began to step closer to the men. He thought those people would do something to Alex.

Both men were helping Alex.

When he saw Alex collapsing unconscious, Denis immediately approached the men.

"Why him?"

Ask while paying attention to the situation of Alex who was completely unconscious. The man looked very worried. No more hair that has always been neatly arranged. Its sturdy jaw is overgrown with fine fur that is usually always clean shaved.

"Who are you?" One of the men asked back. His eyes looked at Denis's face.

Marvel and Derry turned their gazes to Denis.

"Did he call you by name?" Tanya Derry hesitated. Denis shrugged both of his shoulders. He himself was very surprised to hear Alex say his name in an unconscious state. Or maybe he knew Denis was there?

"Lo take her home, Den. Let my bike take me." Jack was near them. Denis nodded after thinking for a while.

Without waiting for Alex's second comment, Denis immediately got into Alex's car and ran the car away.

Sometimes Denis looked at the man who was asleep next to him. It's so fucked up. Denis doesn't know what makes him that way. What was his sadness at being left behind by the father that made him so depressed that he turned into a drunkard?

When Alex arrives, Denis calls a guard there to help him bring Alex into the house. Two men with little distress can finally bring Alex into his room. Denis followed him into Alex's room.

Alex's body was laid out on the bed. Denis opens Alex's shoes and covers the man's body. He looked at her for a moment before leaving the room.

His steps came to a halt when he heard a muttering from the mouth of an unconscious man on the bed. Samar Denis heard the man say his name. Denis was stunned and strained his ears. Alex did not wake up one bit. He went back to sleep regardless of the circumstances around him.

Morning's approaching. Alex came out of his room in a neat state. Prepare to go to his office. His head was still a little dizzy the rest of his hangover last night. But he is a very responsible person so that whatever the circumstances, he must still carry out his obligations to take care of the company. Especially now that all the responsibility is in his hands. Although there is Reno as his sister, but Alex does not want to involve his sister as long as the problem with Tania can not be resolved.

At the end of the stairs downstairs, Faisal was already standing waiting for him.

"Sorry last night didn't answer your friend's phone, sir." Saying good morning to Alex.

"Who called you?" Alex walked to the dining table, followed by Faisal.

"Sir Derry. He said you were so drunk last night." Faisal pulls out a chair for Alex. "I'm sorry I had to finish some things so I couldn't pick you up. But Mr. Derry said you were ushered home by Denis. So I feel calm."

"That's what Derry said. Denis was at the nightclub and he offered to drive you home." Faisal said the information he got from Derry.

"Did he stay here?"

"No. He went straight home."

Alex bites his bread slowly. He remembered what happened last night. All he remembers is Marvel getting him in the car. After that he remembered nothing. And when she woke up this morning, she was in the room wrapped in a blanket comfortably. Could it be Denis who had covered it?

Alex sipped a glass of juice in front of him.

"How are you getting ready for tonight?" He switched the subject.

"Everything is ready, sir. You just have to come by at eight. Your schedule for today is not tight. Just a meeting with Mr. Andres of the company Adijaya, for the follow-up of the previous meeting."

"What time?"

"Back in the afternoon, sir."

Alex finished his breakfast quickly. As he walked towards the exit, he passed Reno who had just descended from his room.

"Ten o'clock I'll wait for you at the office. There are some documents to sign. Sir Jonah will also be present." He said to his sister. Reno nodded in understanding what Alex said.

"Yes, have you heard from your mom?" Ask Alex then.

"Not yet." Reno replied briefly. He had no interest in talking to Alex at length. That's why he always comes down when Alex has already left for the office. But today it looks like Alex woke up a little late. So when Reno came down, Alex was still home.

"should've. Aren't you going to get a lot of inheritance? Surely your mama will be very interested to know how many treasures you will get."

Reno fell silent. Jaw hardens. He refrains from showing his emotions challenged by Alex's cynical remarks. He took a deep breath to ease his emotions.

"alright. See you at the office." Alex smiled coldly.

Alex immediately left Reno who was still silent. But just a few steps he left Reno, he turned back his body.

"Yes, Reno. I'm gonna propose to Viola tonight. If you have time, come. Faisal will give you his address."

After saying that, he stepped back.

Reno stared intently at the figure of Alex who had come out of the house. He threw his fist against the wall that was near him.

"She deliberately wanted to make me hurt by saying that. All this time he's been avoiding Viola knowing I like him. But now, he was deliberately showing off if he wanted to propose to Viola. Just wait for my vengeance, my beloved brother." Reno hissed with an already red face. His hatred for Alex has only increased since he knew the truth.

He paused his intention to head for the dining room. He walked back up the stairs to his room. Closing the door of the meeting room. He pulled out his phone and pressed a single number that directly connected him to someone.
