Secret Denis
Nine

The rain that has been raining the earth since this afternoon leaves cold tonight. The speck was still heard even once back rushing. The piercing cold made anyone reluctant to get out of the blanket.

Alex restless. He had never slept on the floor before as he does now. It doesn't matter if it's not as cold as tonight. Thin floor mattress is not enough to make him avoid the hit gigil. Plus the wind that infiltrated through the gap under the door so it felt caressing the skin. His feet and hands felt stiff.

He got up and looked up at the bed. There was still room there for him to simply remove his body stiffness due to the cold.

Denis slept well. He doesn't seem to be bothered by Alex's body movements going up to the bed. Now he feels comfortable. Little by little the stiff in his body disappeared. Alex closed his eyes again. But it opened up again when he thought of something.

He remembered the people who had attacked him the other day. Who're they? His face was covered in a mask. They did not even make a sound when attacking him. Alex also could not guess the mastermind behind the attack. They even threw it into the abyss. It's just that God is still protecting him so that through the hands of Denis and bang Theo, he can still breathe to this day. If only at that time there were no Denis and bang Theo who helped him maybe now he just stay the name.

That means those people were indeed planning to kill him.

Then he remembered his father lying weak in the hospital. How are you doing now? Is he getting better or worse? What about mom and Reno? They must be worried about him.

Back Alex is restless. He changed his body position repeatedly. What am I supposed to do? Her thought. He was eager to find out about them, but what if the criminals found out about his whereabouts? "Lo's? Why are you sleeping here?" Alex is shocked to hear Denis' voice. He turned his body to face Denis who was sitting while looking at him. What a strange look.

"I'm cold downstairs. So I moved. Tonight is Den. I'm not cold." Alex grimacing. "I can't sleep because I'm thinking about my dad. He was sick when I left. I'm worried about how he is now."

Alex sat down and leaned against the head of the bed. Denis rubbed his disheveled hair. Follow her back.

"Why don't you just go home? Or if you don't, call. Can't be if you don't remember your own home phone number?"

"Of course I remember the home phone number. I'll try to call tomorrow."

"Lo use my cell phone." Pointing his phone with his chin. Alex nodded. He saw the clock on the wall. At 01:45 in the morning. At this hour everyone is sleeping. If anyone is home. If his father is still in the hospital, of course his mother and his sister Reno are also guarding his father in the hospital. So better call him tomorrow.

"Thank you Denis. I'll try to call home tomorrow."

"Have you got an idea of the root of your problem?" Denis looked at Alex. Alex shakes. He has no picture at all. All this time everything was fine. Relationship with those closest to him. There was nothing to be said as the trigger for that incident. He felt he had no enemies.

Denis laid his body back. He closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep again. But Alex's presence in bed makes him uncomfortable. So that the sleepiness just disappeared.

Denis tilted his body back to Alex. Sharpen his ears to hear the movement of the man behind his back. There's no movement. Maybe Alex is asleep.

Denis got out of bed. Slowly he opened the door of the room and closed it in the same way.

The drizzle is still left and it looks like it will continue that way all night. The wind blowing carrying a shower of rain made the cold piercing the skin almost unbearable. Denis walked into the kitchen. Instant coffee brewing is always available in the kitchen set.

Denis brought his coffee and sat down on a sofa. Sipping it slowly as his eyes fell on the speck of rain that did not stop falling. Keep his coffee cup on the table in front of him. Swiping his arm that was not covered by anything. He should've picked up his jacket if he wanted to sit outside. But he didn't intend to sit here for long.

The corner of his eye suddenly saw a suspicious movement in the corner of the courtyard. Denis tightened his gaze. In silence he looked at her.

It's past midnight. The rain that kept falling made the atmosphere even more quiet. Vehicles passing in the front street of Theo bang house are increasingly rarely heard. That road is not the main road. Only the road is inside the housing complex where bang Theo lives. So rarely vehicles that pass when the night is already this late.

Denis sharpened his hearing. He was sure he saw a shadow. But maybe it was just a shadow of a leaf that moved because it was blown by the wind.

"Why are you even sitting outside, Den? It's so cold." Denis. Alex stood beside him.

"Why did you get out?" Denis sipped his coffee again. With his eyes back to pay attention to the situation around the backyard of Theo bang house which is partially lush by trees and flower groves. A dim garden light is not enough to make every place clearly visible. Moreover, the shadow of the trees made some places faint.

Alex closed his mouth wide open from yawning. Drowsiness had attacked him but he was curious about what Denis did so he did not go back into the room. He hadn't slept when Denis came out of the room quietly. He thinks Denis wants to go to the toilet or just grab some water in the kitchen. It turned out that his roommate was sitting while drinking coffee.

"Lo want some coffee?" Denis lifted his coffee cup. Alex is standing next to Denis.

"If you want to be alone."

Denis finished his coffee. Keep a cup in the kitchen and then pass into the room. Leaving Alex scratching his head to see Denis's behavior. He hasn't even answered the guy's question.

He did not understand the attitude of Denis who always avoided him. Talking is just important. Very stiff and closed guy. Denis has a positive side. It turned out that he paid enough attention to the problems he was facing. Or maybe because Denis wanted him to quickly leave the place and not interfere with his privacy by staying one room with him.

Alex smiled and stepped on his feet to catch up with Denis. His steps were stifled when he suddenly saw a shadow in the corner of his eye. He looked to see what he saw.

But late. A very hard blow hit his nape. Screeches of pain escaped from his mouth but were immediately smothered by a wide, rough hand. His body was dazed and could no longer be held down on the floor. His consciousness had not disappeared completely when he saw the shadow of two burly men dragging him from the place in a hurry.

Denis had just laid his body on the bed when faintly heard Alex's voice screech. His very sensitive instincts to circumstances made him immediately jump out of bed and blast out. Especially if he remembered there was something suspicious in the corner of the page he increasingly accelerated his steps.

Two masked men are trying to pull Alex unconscious. Denis ran up to them.

"Take him off!!" Denis jumped and sent a kick towards the one man whose distance was closest. The man staggered. His grip on Alex's body slipped off. He turned his body to face Denis. Put up the horses ready to attack Denis. His eyes flashed with anger, looking at Denis who had foiled his plan to take Alex away from the house. Another man releases Alex and prepares to attack Denis.

Denis shared his attention with the two masked men.

"Who are you?" He asked in a loud voice. Hopefully Lukman or others will wake up and help him.

The two men threw eyes at each other. A little nod that they barely seem to do. Turns out it was the code for an attack that they then did together. Nimbly Denis avoided the simultaneous attacks of the two men. He jumped onto the wider courtyard in order to freely face the two people. The two men chase Denis and continue to attack him by taking turns. They hope Denis will be cornered and quickly can they beat.

Their hopes are in vain. Denis is tough. In addition to good at dodging, Denis repeatedly managed to land his punches and kicks towards the opponent. One of them finally staggered while holding his stomach which had just got Denis's knee. Soon his other friend got a kick from Denis' right foot.

The sound of the main house door opening caused the attention of the two masked men to be distracted. At first glance they saw the bang Theo who rushed to the place of the unbalanced fight.

One of them took advantage of Denis' negligence to give one punch before the two took a thousand steps. Denis, who was staggered by the attack, soon realized that the two men were trying to escape.

"Don't run lo!!" Denis ran after the two men. A silver car was waiting in front of Theo bang house gate. Without waiting for the door to be perfectly closed the car immediately darted away from the place just as Denis arrived at the gate.

"Who are they?" his eyes were still glaring at the car which then disappeared at a bend towards the highway.

"Gue doesn't know. Clearly, they're after Alex." Denis grunting. He then closed the open gate. The padlock is broken. It must be those people who did it.

"Gue thinks it's the same person who messed up in the workshop" Denis said. The silver car was exactly the same as the one carrying the four sangar men who were looking for him yesterday because of him in the workshop. If that's them, then Denis's guess is true that they're actually after Alex. Today they wear masks, but from his posture it seems Denis's guess is not wrong.

Bang Theo invites Denis to return home. The two hurried back into the backyard. Alex is still on the floor. Lukman and Mang Jana were there. Bi Nani looks very panicked to see Alex's condition is still unconscious.

"Move to the room." Bang Theo's orders. Lukman and Mang Jana then try to lift Alex's body. But both are overwhelmed as Alex's large tall body is out of balance with their physique. Bang Theo and Denis helped the two men.

With great difficulty they were able to move Alex's body into Denis's room.

"Gue was both the same as Denis when he lifted him from the abyss." Grutu bang Theo while carrying Alex's body which is very heavy. Lukman and Mang Jana just grimaced in response to bang Theo's remarks.

Madam Fani came with an anxious look on her face. His gaze was obviously very worried when staring at everyone who was there.

"Who are those people?" he asked in a slightly trembling voice. "They're gone?"

"They're running away." Bang Theo.

"How is he doing?" his eyes were on Alex. He was never this sweet when dealing with a patient in the hospital. He panicked to find out that a criminal had entered his house and tried to harm one of the occupants. This is the first time it has happened to him and hopefully it won't happen again.

Fani then approaches and holds Alex's wrist. He turned his head towards bi Nani who was standing restlessly. Mbak Fani asked for eucalyptus oil on bi Nani.

Bi Nani immediately searched for what Fani's mother had asked in her room. Immediately give it to him after he gets what he's in his way.

Madam Fani opened the oil cover and brought it closer to Alex's nose. A few moments later Alex moved. His eyes blinked with a ringing from his mouth.

Alex stared at the people who were covering him. Slowly he got up and felt his nape that felt very painful due to the impact of a blunt object.

Bi Nani thrusts drinking water in a glass. Alex took it and gulped it down.

"Sorry to trouble you all." He said he was interrupted by his his hissing because of the pain he was in.

"Lo owes Denis his life." bang Theo made Alex turn to Denis who was standing by the door. "He who has lamelletin lo."

Alex smiled faintly at Denis.

"Thank you Denis. For the second time you helped me."

"Gue just tells me what I can do." Denis is down." If bang Theo doesn't come I don't know what's going to happen to me either."

Bang Theo pat Denis on the shoulder.

"If there's no lo, don't know Alex's fate now."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Bang Theo then told everyone to disband after making sure Alex was not seriously injured. Madam Fani told bi Nani to take warm water and a small towel.

"Please compress the bruise using warm water" said Mbak Fani addressed to Denis.

"Mang Jana's. Tomorrow find someone to keep in front. We have to be careful. Who knew that man would come back here." Bang Theo's turn gave instructions to mang Jana. "Search for people who can be sandeled. Especially keep the night."

Mang Jana nodded as she thought about who roughly anyone could be given the task of being a housekeeper like bang Theo had expected.

"Thankful that who can defend himself like Denis." continued bang Theo.

Mang Jana scratched her brows as she walked out of Denis room. The heavy duty that bang Theo had given him should he do it with full responsibility. He should look for people who are trustworthy as well as reliable.

"Who would you think?" he murmured when approaching bi Nani who was in the kitchen chair. Bi Nani yawns helplessly in response to her husband's question which is more fixed on her own.

"Still sleepy, mama? Sleep there again. Fajr was still a long time." he pity seeing his wife who was crumpled with sleepiness. Very cold air makes the body more on the side of the mattress that is still waiting with all its warmth.

"Fear of the villain coming again sir."

"Not going. Anyway if back again is also not nyari mother." grunts mang Jana. Bi Nani opened her eyes. Then he went to his room with a sharp step.

Mang Jana chuckled at his wife who was walking like a drunk. Lukman rolled up his body with a scabbard on the couch. Mang Jana got himself on the foot of Lukman. I lit a cigarette and started smoking it.

"You've been caged from earlier, Man." mang Jana glanced at Lukman who tightened his body arch.

"Don't get it wrong. I called bang Theo to tell him there was an intruder inside the house." Lukman answered from inside the holster.

"So you saw their fight?" Mang Jana enthusiastic. He fixed his seat to face Lukman.

Lukman finally sat down, ready to tell Mang Jana. The story begins when Denis screams at two masked men. He woke up and sharpened his ears to hear the commotion in the backyard. He did not dare to open the door of his room let alone approach the fight because he could not fight. All he did was call bang Theo through his cell phone, tell him what happened. At first the phone was not picked up. Only after several calls Bang Theo answered the phone from Lukman. And with a very sleepy voice.

Mang Jana was disappointed that Lukman did not see firsthand how Denis fought the criminals. For mang Jana who is very serious about hearing Lukman's story, the fight part is the most exciting part and should not be missed to watch.

"You should have recorded that part, man. It must be exciting." he said with a little disappointment. Lukman shook his head. You Mang Jana!
