Alex directs his driver to one place opposite the direction his office is located. Faisal frowned but he held himself back from asking.

Alex told the driver to stop at a workshop on the side of the road. At that time Faisal could no longer hold back. He was very curious about his boss who led them to a small and seedy workshop. Very contrasted with the luxurious car of his boss who is bright and very shiny.

"Is there anything you need, sir?"

"wait here. I'll just be a minute."

Alex got out of his fancy car. His shiny shoes seemed to beat the place that was filled with oil splattered.

His presence at that place immediately became the center of attention. Everyone threw their gaze towards the dashing and handsome man who had just stepped down from a luxurious car.

Alex ignored everyone's eyes. His footsteps steadied towards the entrance inside the workshop. No one dared to rebuke him. Perhaps because of his extraordinary charm.

Jack who had just walked out of his room was stunned to see who had come this early in his workshop.

He didn't ask, Alex asked first.

"Where's Denis?"

"He's..." Jack looked inside. Without waiting for a response from Jack, Alex continued his steps towards the inside of the room. Denis just came out of the bathroom in the corner of the room. Her wet hair made her face look very fresh and sexy!

He was surprised to see Alex there without him knowing.

"Alexes.."

Alex blinked his eyes that had been amazed by the appearance of Denis that morning. He moved his head to remove the dirty thoughts that had poisoned him. Was he the only one who had seen Denis with a different view?

"I'm here to thank you for last night when you drove me home. I know it from my men." Not in a friendly tone. He has changed. It's not Alex who is gentle and always smiling. The smile disappeared from his face. His gaze was so cold and freezing.

"Lo doesn't have to be hard to come here if you just want to say that." Denis replied in a tone no less cold. It's like Alex's attitude is a contagious virus.

"I also want to say that my door is always open for you. You can come whenever you want and your room hasn't changed at all. You can stay there as long as you want."

"Thanks. But I'd rather live here. You don't have to waste precious time taking care of me."

Alex fell silent. His eyes looked at Denis.

"If there's nothing else you want to say, you better get out of here. It doesn't fit in at all with this place."

Alex spread his eyes all over the place. Instead of leaving the place because of Denis, Alex instead stepped onto the sofa and sat himself there.

Alex was silent for a moment. Breathe in and breathe out slowly.

"I want to apologize if I was wrong with you until you left the house. I realized that I might have been acting too much with you. All this time we've been spending time together and going through hardships together. I don't want to lose a friend like you." He lowered his voice. Staring at Denis with a look full of earnestness. Denis was silent to Alex's words that felt very strange after he acted cold and haughty earlier.

"You can work with me on a high salary. I'll pay you ten times what you get for this place."

One corner of Denis's lips lifted. He smiled cynically accompanied by an annoyed snort.

"Gue doesn't look for high pay. I will help my friends who feel they need me and appreciate me. Knows lo."

Alex breathed slowly. Realize that he has made a mistake again.

"I didn't mean it that way. I mean, you don't have to worry about anything if you stay with me."

Denis shook his head with a slanted smile.

"Lo has wasted precious time by coming to this place. Thank you for still caring about me. I'll think about your offer."

Alex got up from his seat. Tidied up his suit and stepped closer to Denis.

"Come home whenever you want."

Denis just smiled. Returning her body gave way to Alex to get out of the place.

Denis remained silent for a while. When he came out of the room, the luxury car carrying Alex's figure had already far mingled with the other vehicles on the highway.

"His assistant said she's getting engaged tonight." Jack approached Denis who was staring at Alex's car which was getting away.

"Later tonight?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Lo know where it is?"

Today was very quick for Alex. Having just arrived at his office, his lawyer had already arrived and they then engaged in a serious conversation about the division of the Arga Dinata estate. At ten o'clock exactly Reno comes escorted by a bodyguard assigned by Alex.

Actually Reno had protested because he felt constantly being watched and his movements had been restricted, but it seems Alex did not press the slightest protest from his sister.

He was still angry at what Reno had done for helping Tania and Bhishma escape from her captivity. Alex even threatens Reno by not letting him go if he does not want to get an escort from Alex's men. Reno is forced to accept any decision Alex. Of course in his heart he cursed all out the man who actually had no blood relation to him in the slightest.

Yunus sir read a few things about the inheritance that Reno and Alex will get. Carefully Reno listened to everything.

But he was not satisfied with what the lawyer had written. He felt that the division was unfair. Especially after the lawyer said that Tania will not get anything after her affair is known to have been done since many years ago.

Reno protested for herself as well as for her mother. He does not accept the unilateral decision of Alex who has shared the legacy of Arga Dinata which he thinks is very unfair.

Reno left Alex's office in anger. Alex did not prevent Reno's departure. He let her go with a cold and flat look.

Finished with a legacy affair that is still not final, the Viola came without prior notice. With a seemingly perfect appearance, she walks into Alex's room while Alex's lawyer is still there. He even passed Reno when he got out of the elevator.

Reno looked very angry and did not say hello to Viola as usual. But Viola ignored him. The main goal is to meet Alex.

He smiled and greeted Alex. Alex is surprised by Viola's presence.

"What's up here?" He asked, holding a pile of paper on his desk.

"I want to take you to lunch."

"I'm busy. We'll see you tonight anyway."

"Whatever you are busy, don't forget to take a break and have lunch. Come onl. I want to show you something, too."

"Sorry Viola. I'm really busy. You see Sir Jonah here. I have to finish some things today as well. Or I can't come to our engagement party later."

Her voice was slow but at the end of her sentence contained a threat that made Viola scowl to hear it.

"alright. I was gonna ask you for your opinion on the dress I'm gonna wear tonight. I'm afraid you won't like to see it."

"You know more about fashion. So it seems like there will be no problem about that. Whatever you wear, you'll look amazing." A little praise that was enough to make Viola's mood improve again. She was happy to hear the indirect praise from Alex's mouth. Although the man did not seem too enthusiastic about their engagement plans, Viola ignored him. The important thing for him is to have Alex after all this time.

Let the affairs of Alex's heart be the business of the latter. The important thing is that he will get his body first. Viola has to be more patient in the face of Alex. He has been patient for a few years. It doesn't matter if you have to be patient for a few more hours.

"Then I'll order lunch for you. We'll have lunch together here." Viola displayed his sweetest smile. Shows that she's okay with Alex's rejection.

"no need. Faisal had ordered food. Ask him to add one more serving if you want to have lunch here." Alex prevents without distracting from the file he's checking. He did not see the change in the look of Viola's face that returned to swallow disappointed because of Alex's speech.

Mr. Yunus who is still in the room was only listening to the interaction of the two people who are said to be engaged later tonight. It's clear that Alex didn't want the engagement. However, Yunus does not know what reason Alex forced himself to propose to Viola. Was it because of the wishes of his late father?

The man who had become a lawyer trust Arga Dinata was just silent listening to the conversation of the two people until finally Viola resigned and left the room with annoyance.
