Secret Denis

Secret Denis
The Seventy Four

Out of the hospital with a hardened face. Denis drove his red motorbike through the streets of the capital which is always crowded with vehicles during the day. Played his motor when he stopped at a red light. Vehicle smoke billowing from the exhaust adds to air pollution in the increasingly blistering afternoon.

The phone in his jacket pocket reads. Denis reached out and answered the phone call.

It's from Rania, her mother. Ask him where he is because he's not home. Denis replied briefly that he had just met his grandmother in the hospital.

"Lunch at home, baby. Mama cook your favorite food."

Denis agreed, even though he did not know what his favorite food meant. Reinsert the phone into his jacket pocket along with changing the color of the vehicle lights.

Drove again his motor to a place that suddenly crossed his mind. A cafe he had stopped by several times before.

Denis parked his motorbike in the cafe's parking lot. Open the helmet before getting off the bike. For a moment he observed the situation around the parking lot filled with motor vehicles while tidying his hair a little tangled.

Enter the cafe room and choose a table near the glass. A girl in a cafe uniform approached him immediately.

"Mas Denis." The answer was already near Denis.

Denis. His lips smiled slightly in response to the girl's greeting.

"How are you? Long time no come here?" The carefree voice of the girl seemed to have become his trademark.

That girl is Mariana. He smiles happily when he sees Denis entering his workplace.

"Good." Short answer from Denis' lips.

"Only alone? Want me to go to temenin mas?" Mariana widened her smile. His eyes winked flirtatiously at Denis. Mariana knows who Denis is. But still like to call it 'mas'.

"Gue's here to pick up a drink. Not to talk to you." Denis glared sharply.

Mariana did not get angry at the scathing words from her cafe guest. He chuckled without any shame at all.

"Yes. Denis wants to pesen what?" Mariana asked at last.

Denis mentioned the drink he wanted.

"Feed, mas?"

"Later on."

"There's no dimenu tuh, ma'am."

Denis widened his eyes glaring towards Mariana. Replied with a grin by the girl.

"Hehe. Aye, yes. Wait, you're a handsome man."

"Take a long time." Threaten her as Mariana moved from before her. Mariana laughed again when she heard it.

It did not take long, Mariana had returned with a drink Denis ordered.

"It's not long, is it?" Mariana chuckles.

"Remain laughing?"

"Ih, Denis is so fierce. Not going to do that later. Virgin forbidden fiercely, mas." Instead of leaving Denis, Mariana sat in front of the girl.

"What did you say? You know I'm a girl but you call me 'mas'?" Slow down Denis voice while slightly bowing his body towards Mariana.

"Once, Denis is like a big boy. My friends are the girls on the nitip salam noh. They like Denis. Accepted what's not?"

Mariana glanced at her friends who were indeed paying attention towards them.

"Gue's not interested in your friends."

"Yeay.means it's still normal, huh?" Mariana exclaimed in a whisper. His eyes winked while squinting at Denis.

Denis shook his head slowly. Just this time he met the same person who was absurd as Mariana.

"Eh. I just happened to meet Denis today. Yesterday Anwar called. He asked me if I'd met Denis. If you meet him, send that greeting. I also salam nitip. They miss Denis." Mariana changed her face.

"Keep you said what?"

"I told you Denis met his mother. Anwar wants to know if Denis is okay now. Where does Denis live? Is Denis now living with Denis' family?" Mariana looked at Denis seriously.

"Yes. I live with my mom now. Tell them, I'm fine." Denis sipped his drink slowly. His eyes looked at the glass in front of him.

"But why doesn't Denis look like he's not? Come here alone too. Where is Alex? You guys still meet a lot, don't you?"

"Don't you know what I'm grinning about?"

"Yes know it. People if they are smiling, their faces are beaming. His eyes will also be visible. It is different if people are sad or angry. I know dong expression of people. Those who come to the cafe are also different. He also looked up from his face."

"Sokos know lo." Denis poked his lips.

"Yee said not to believe. I'm not a psychology scholar." Mariana frowning.

"Ih my Denis is evil. Mariana's beautiful period gini is called psychopath. It doesn't fit well."

Mariana stomped her feet as she moved away from Denis' desk. He leaves Denis because he has to serve other customers who have just come to enter the cafe.

Denis only smiled faintly at Mariana's behavior. The drink that lives half in the glass.

His eyes glared through the clear glass wall. Thinking of a life that never got out of trouble. Relieves his anger because of Aryanti's attitude that is felt very outrageous to him.

If he includes his ego, it feels like he is back against the old woman. If only he was the old Denis. Denis never thought of anything. Who act according to his ego. He must have left behind everything that had made him feel uncomfortable.

But somehow, since knowing the fact who his real father is, Denis feels that he is not the same anymore as before.

Besides feeling that she meant nothing to her family, she now realizes that she is nothing without her mother's family. At the moment Denis feels that it doesn't matter what he wants in this life. The important thing is that he wants to fulfill the wishes of everyone around him. His grandmother. Her mother. They're all he's got.

Breathe heavily. Denis further solidified his heart and mind. He will not regret this decision.

The phone in his jacket pocket rang. Denis took it and answered.

"Where are you, baby? It's lunch time. You don't have lunch at home?"

"I'm at a friend's place."

"The doctor from the hospital called. He said you have to go to the hospital this afternoon to prepare for the surgery tomorrow."

Little doubt Rania said that. However, he still could not accept Denis' decision to donate his kidney.

"I'll be home soon."

Denis kept his phone back after he finished talking to his mother.

"Hey. Denise."

Someone patted his shoulder. Denis.

"Ricky."

"Gee. Long time no see. Where are you going?" Ricko clenched his hand in front of Denis and was greeted by Denis's fist, which he complained to Ricko's fist.

Without waiting for him, Ricko sat in front of Denis.

"Why never race again?" Ricko changed the question.

"haven't had time. Who are you?" Denis spread his gaze looking for the person who came with Ricko.

"Gue himself. Coincidentally through this place. Didn't see you on purpose." Ricko smile. His hand waved calling a waitress who turned out to be Mariana.

"What do you want to order?" Quickly Mariana prepared her notes. His eyes were directed at Denis.

"Why your eyes? A flick?" Denis stared intently at the girl.

"The lust of a handsome boy, mas. Hehe." Mariana grinned wide. Ricko frowned seeing those two people who seemed to already know each other.

"Mr? So don't write my order?"

"Yes so dong mas. What message do you want? My heart no one has yet got lo mas. Hehe."

Ricko shook his head to get Mariana's unconventional answer. Regardless of Mariana's attitude, she mentioned the drinks and food she wanted. He also ordered food for Denis. There is no rejection from people who if in the racecourse is his sworn enemy.

"Lo know that waiter?" Ricko asked after Mariana passed.

"Why? Fancied lo?"

"I am crazy that I have a crush on him. Not my type."

The two then engaged in a chat about the race that has always brought the two together. In the racecourse they are enemies. But it was only to hone their respective skills in the event of distribution of hobbi which is quite extreme and challenging adrenaline. Beyond that they both do not have significant problems.

Things became the topic of their conversation. It was about the bike they used to race. It was a topic that made them even more excited about it.

"Lo knows. Last time we saw that I got a police officer. I spent a few days at the police station."

"Oh yeah? Great lo."

"Crazy. Great from where? That's because of what?" Back the two engaged in a chat about that fateful night. Sometimes Ricko laughs considering the ridiculousness they have done so often they play hide and seek with security officers.

Usually Denis rarely interacts with someone for a long time. But today, he talked a lot with Ricko. Connected as they eat lunch interspersed with other small talk. He had spent more than an hour inside the cafe.

"Dennis?"

A man came suddenly. His eyes looked at Denis and Ricko with a sharp look and looked as if he were jealous.
