Rafka closes the report Felix gave him. He looked up when Felix re-entered his private study to report something quite shocking.
"The new team I formed found some new leads, Mr. Rafka," Felix reported. His face showed its own satisfaction.
Rafka did not respond. He stared intently at Felix in front of him. For years he received the same report. New clues and other findings are always reported. Unfortunately, there was no clue that could definitely lead him to the person he was looking for. Rafka was actually a little surprised given the speed of the new team in finding clues, which the previous team could have taken up to a year more just to trace a thin hint once.
"Continue." Rafka responded flatly. Given his threat to Felix a few months ago, he wouldn't be surprised if the man before him panicked and took the unrelated into a new clue.
"The team I'm referring to is still working hard to continue their investigation. I'm here to bring some photos that might be considered by Mr. Rafka for the next thing" Felix said.
In fact, Felix realized that Rafka was reluctant to believe the information he would provide. Although a little panicked, Felix is also not stupid to report things that are not important just because of the fear. He still hopes to live longer.
Rafka shifted one book on her desk very carefully. The cover of the book is very well preserved. Felix only gave a quick glance and did not comment further on how the kind of book that should fit into the children's fairy tales was on Rafka's desk.
"This is the picture, my lord."
Rafka receives some photos that Felix gave her. He stared a long time at the photos. There was not much change in his facial expression. But anyone knows that Hazel Rafka's eyes are getting dark.
"They found a teenager who looked like the man while combing the airport" Felix said.
"His identity?" ask Rafka coldly.
"We are working on it, sir. We have encountered many obstacles in the search for the identity of these teenagers. Therefore, we were also trying to find out about the woman beside him, but suddenly, a group of people purposefully blocked us," Felix replied cautiously.
"Group of people?" Rafka glanced sharply.
Felix gulps. "Really, Milord. Those people were looking for a commotion on purpose. However, they did not seem to have another group behind him. We've made sure about it."
Rafka nodded, allowing Felix to breathe a sigh of relief. However, what Rafka did next made cold sweat wet his back.
Hazel Rafka's dark eyes were filled with deep hatred. The photos in his hands became small pieces as he began to tear them apart. Seeing that, Felix started to lower his head even deeper.
"That's your biggest mistake, Felix. Just like when you're sure that there's no other group behind the people who are blocking it, can you also confidently make sure that the information you get is completely correct?" rafka said with a low tone that gripped.
The cold in the room was like strangling Felix. He found it harder to breathe than usual. Moreover, his heart rate had still not returned to normal since he entered this room. For someone who has plunged a lot into dirty things, he has met many kinds of people. It's just that Rafka is on a different level than Felix ever met. He could not help his fear and goosebumps whenever he had serious affairs with this man.
Felix was struck by the question. He quickly nodded. "We'll do well, sir."
Rafka doesn't care about anything else anymore. He lifted his report and let Felix out of the room.
Just a few minutes later, he stuck with the document. Rafka put down her work and started to massage the base of her nose. He sighed slowly and glanced at the children's fairy tale book on the table, then stared at the photo tear that Felix had given him.
Rafka hates situations where he can't focus on doing things. However, his concentration that is not easily shaken has been damaged several times every time it comes into contact with one person.
"Twenty years. It's been twenty years" Rafka murmured before she shook her head slowly. "No. It's only been twenty years. Even if it takes a hundred years, I'll always try to find you."
Rafka touches a child's fairy tale book on her desk. I want him to rip the book off as well. The pain and tightness he had gained each time he saw this book infuriated him. But he wouldn't be able to do that. Rafka won't destroy the last thing left by that woman.
The woman who is able to give him a pleasant foreign feeling, while leaving him in the most painful way.
"Everyone said I was a cruel person. Very amusing. They never even found out about you being so much more ruthless through all the deeds you've done" Rafka muttered as she leaned her back against the chair.
A sweet smile came from the lips of the woman.
Her crying...
His composure...
Rafka is beset with foreign feelings. Despite years of feeling the same, Rafka is still not used to it. Feelings of emptiness, resentment, and anger mixed in. It forms a torturous taste.
"I just want to see you." Rafka back on his head." I wish the teenager had nothing to do with you or him. That way, I don't have to bother finishing him like I already did."
The photo had already worsened his mood. The photo was focused on a teenage boy and also a woman with dark blue hair bands. The woman's face was invisible because of her backside position. However, the teenage boy's face was quite clear.
A face that reminded him of the most hated person who had died at his hands ten years ago. Rafka's hatred was so great, that even though the person in question had already died right in front of him, he still could not forget the feeling that had been rooted in his heart.
"I want to kill you again, you fucking man. Although the teenager later turned out not to take me to my woman later, I will still execute her because she has a lot in common with you. Just blame his unfortunate destiny for having that in common."
Rafka clenched her hands tightly. His hazel eyes seemed to be burning with determination.
