Sisterzones

Sisterzones
The missing memory

"Remain in touch with me, Alia. Understood?"

Alia nodded and smiled brightly. "I will also visit the Western City often."

Wilda still feels heavy leaving Alia. But he decided to leave that place. Although Alia had asked to stay a little longer so that she could rest, Wilda still wanted to leave immediately. There is something that makes him have to get out of here quickly. Alia understood Wilda's heavy feelings. What is certain is that Alia's request must have shook Wilda a little.

With her current condition, Alia can no longer work at WR Coffee. Daniel also did not allow Alia to stay in the West City again, or take a trip back every day. Wilda had no reason to keep Alia from working in her place. Moreover, Alia's life looks very guaranteed here. But Wilda already loved Alia like her own biological sister. So he kept repeating the sentence asking Alia not to break up with him.

"This guy named Wilda looks sincere."

Alia. Daniel was already behind him, following Alia who was driving Wilda. Now that they could see from a distance, Wilda's new car passed through the gate.

"Sir Wilda is a good man. He helped a lot," Alia commented with a faint smile.

"How can you get to know the boss of WR Coffee? It's not a coincidence you guys met, is it?" Daniel asked without changing his flat expression, one thing that has not changed in five years. "Hm? My brother is as tall as my neck. How come?"

Alia brushes Daniel's hand trying to equalize Alia's head with her own neck. "Exercise increases height," replied Alia lightly.

"Oh." Daniel didn't care if his hands were pushed aside a few times. He kept it on Alia's head, while her body was lowered. Daniel's face is now on par with Alia's. Their noses almost touched. "But it's still shorter."

Alia rebelled in annoyance and punched Daniel in the arm. "Your jokes haven't changed in the past, yeah."

Daniel dodged some of Alia's punches, and with his ever serious face he caught both of the woman's hands. "What exercises can increase height so quickly?"

"Quick from there? Five years and can only chase your neck high. That's not fair" Alia protested. He could not pull his hands from Daniel's firm grip. "You ask what kind of training? Well like this."

Alia stopped pulling her hand. He raised his hand up high which made Daniel's arm also go up. Daniel's face became more serious than ever. He looked at Alia who was looking up at him.

For a moment, Daniel marveled at the sweet face that was staring at him. Realizing that Alia does have her own charm that makes her attractive. Her jet-black irises attract curiosity and cause admiration. The rest decorate sweetly perfectly. Her cheeks are met, thick eyebrows, lashes, and her small lips that often sing the best smile is always a unique attraction of an Alia. Daniel felt Alia's tiny nose that was not sharp or not also pugnacious was very fitting with the proportion of his sweetness.

"You want a hug?" daniel asked, just after he had regained consciousness from his daydream. He still did not understand the reason Alia made that move.

"Pull-up or hanging! What hug? Hugged your head," Alia replied before jerking her hand, escaping Daniel's grip. "Exercise the movement consistently. It seems to help, although not much. It's old too."

Alia passed by Daniel to go inside, leaving the man still silent. Daniel coughed softly, rubbing his nose wrongly. His usual face was covered in the absence of expression that this time was heating up incoherently.

Did he just say something that didn't make sense?

Daniel shook his head, a little strange with his own embarrassment. He turned around and came back following Alia's steps.

"Have you ever met Sister Wilda before?" alia asked when she found out Daniel was following her.

Daniel did not answer until Alia turned full to him. "Never," he answered. He tried to look for changes in Alia's face over the embarrassing incident earlier. But the woman looks ordinary.

"But Sister Wilda looks uncomfortable when she meets you." Alia took a step forward on her tiptoes, cupping her two little hands on Daniel's cheeks while glaring. "There's no way you're scaring him, are you? Your face is this handsome from the side of mana that can be scary?"

Daniel did not expect Alia's rapid movement.

"Wow, your face is red. Are you having a fever?" tanya Alia moved her hand to Daniel's forehead and her own forehead, comparing the heat with an anxious look. "But our body temperature is the same."

Daniel moved away from Alia's hand. "So, it feels a little hot. Looks like we need to add air conditioning."

Hearing that, Alia finally nodded in understanding. He took a seat in one of the chairs, waiting for Daniel to sit in the other.

"You may not feel it, but the way Brother Wilda looked at you was like that" continued Alia still discussing the same topic.

Alia tilted her head, realizing there was one question Daniel missed answered by her while still ahead. "Oh no. Our meeting was right after Brother drove you to the airport. Just then, Sister Wilda approached and offered me a job."

Daniel frowned, feeling it was a strange encounter. "Ahead to directly? That is, this Wilda Brother saw Alia, then suddenly invited to work in her place?"

The look on Daniel's face is now back. Alia realized that the word choice for the next explanatory sentence must be appropriate. "Um, not like that either. Brother Wilda knows me from someone and at the behest of that person as well."

"Who?" daniel's asking is getting more aggressive.

"Aunt Rinda. You must know him. He used to play with kits...." Alia's eye volume was growing. He felt his body cool down at one time. Alia noticed Daniel who was now looking at her curiously.

Alia cursed in her heart. I feel like I made a stupid choice. Why had he not thought of these consequences before?

"Auntie Rinda?" reset Daniel. "Ah, for a second, I don't think I've ever remembered this guy's name. Who's she?"

'come out, ' thought Alia while gulping her saliva.

"Other good people. He recommended Brother to Sister Wilda and took care of many things. You're a child, so you probably don't remember much" Alia replied with a relaxed smile. Trying to look normal.

Daniel did not respond immediately. He seemed a little hesitant for his next speech. "Ah, I don't want to keep it to myself anymore. But, brother, I really don't remember anything. At least for memory at the age of eight years and under. What exactly happened first?"

A question that Alia wanted to avoid was finally heard.

"Ahahaha, don't make it up. That's impossible, right?"

"I'm serious" Daniel said. "Tell me the real events. What makes me unable to remember that and... why did it have to be at the age of eight?"

Alia opened her mouth and closed it again, looking doubtful. But then he sighed and leaned back as if he was going through a very tiring thing. "Oh, this is actually a secret. But what can you do, you're all grown up anyway. Look yes, Daniel. You were a very naughty boy. Difficult to manage and overactive. We were tired of advising you until you fell off a tall tree branch with your head knocked first. You won't remember ever going through a critical period in a hospital. It's a good thing that you survived and were able to move on with life without any flaws at all. Unfortunately you lost your memory. There's a whole lot of reasons why you can't remember anything before eight."

Daniel did not believe it right away. One thing that made Alia feel anxious. He has tried his best to stay relaxed and not suspicious.

That explanation actually makes sense. Daniel did remember the first time he opened his eyes in a white room, a hospital. All of a sudden. As outlined for her, she has a warm family with an authoritative father, a loving mother, and a kind older sister. Even so, he felt like he was estranged from this family, even though the treatment he received could be said to be very special. Daniel just can't feel the bond that's really like Family in that place. A few days after he was discharged from the hospital, Daniel celebrated his eighth birthday. That was why he could remember for sure the time limit of his memory loss.

"Sister Alia doesn't hide anything else?" daniel asked more to check Alia's response.

"What else can be hidden?" alia asked lightly while shrugging her shoulders. Every now and then he shuddered himself realizing his increasingly improved acting skills.

Daniel tries to find a loophole from Alia's response, but then does not continue. "Now have we concluded that Aunt Rinda is a stalker?"

"Hey, don't just talk. Aunt Rinda said she had a wide network. After all, you wouldn't doubt him just because of that. Aunt Rinda is my best friend. I also trust him a lot." Alia seemed to dislike the choice, Daniel said.

"Just in case. Alia can think of it that way. But I don't" Daniel said, not really concerned with Alia's reaction. He got up from his seat and tidied up his coat. "Come, Riki."

Alia looked back, at the newly arrived Riki. From the look on his face, he was a little surprised because Daniel could realize his existence quickly. He had just finished with his help on Dichey and was just about to take care of his next activities. "Ah, I'll prepare the file-"

"I've finished everything. Some people drive him to the car, we just walk," said Daniel lightly.

Riki stared as he opened his mouth, starting to stamp himself useless.

"Where are you going?" ask Alia curious.

"There's a lot to take care of in my work. I'm going for a minute." Daniel patted Alia's head slowly, making the woman a little uncomfortable. "If you're bored, you can find Carla in the library. That's his favorite place, he'll be there."

Alia was not protested by Daniel's insolent attitude that continued to hold her head. Now there was an enthusiastic twinkle in his round eyes. The one thing he was looking forward to was indeed related to the little girl.
