Light talk

"I don't know. He borrowed my cell phone to call people. After that go straight away," Risa's story as Alia asks about Carla.

Alia closed her lips, feeling worried. He felt guilty for leaving Carla long enough. He had to talk and apologize to her as soon as he got home.

Alia and Daniel are back at the table. Lucky for Alia, Risa wants to join them. The girl refused to sit alone at her desk and chose to sit near Alia.

"Sir Al suddenly broke his hair, why?" ask Risa. Her eyes sparkled when she got the chance to touch Alia's jet hair. "I want to paint my brown hair black too. Must be good."

Alia would not answer that it was Daniel's. He just smiled a little and rubbed Risa's head. "You need to be more confident in your own appearance."

Risa laughed a little. Sometimes he glanced at Daniel who had been silent since. Looking for an opportunity to see Daniel steal a look at Alia.

"Ah, I want to mature quickly," Risa complained after noticing the two.

"Why is that? Most teens now want to be kids again because they're afraid to grow up." Alia looked a little surprised.

"Oh, of course, it's more exciting to be an adult. I could quickly find a serious partner, fall in love with one man for good, get married, and have children. A little drama seems good too. For example, suddenly there are two people who like me, then they try to get my love. Ah, it's so fun." Lisa spoke long and fast.

Alia laughed a little. According to him, Risa is like a replica of Wilda if she is excited. "Is there also no such thing as teenage love? Why not feel it first?"

Risa sighed, glancing at Bram who was now escorting Wilda greeting the guests. "My father wouldn't let me have a relationship like that. He said I was a kid. But Brother, I'm in third grade High School. Do I still need to hold me this way?"

"Pak Bram would love you to do this" Alia responded with a small laugh.

Alia half-believes when she finds out that Risa is Bram's adopted daughter. Other than their vastly different personalities, Bram doesn't look like a man with an interest in taking care of things like this. However, hearing Risa's story, Alia could at least know that Bram was really taking good care of her.

Risa was also never seen communicating with Bram every commute from WR Coffee. Usually he would go home alone by taxi, which confused Alia a little. Though Risa could have come with Bram every drive Alia home.

"Sir Al, how is it? Did you guys in school used to like someone too?" asked Risa enthusiastically.

Alia tried to remember. "School doesn't exist yet. SMP seems to have one. But that's so stupid. She's a popular person, so many like her besides me."

"He... Brother Al didn't try to express feelings to the man?"

"No." Alia shook her head and smiled slightly. "Not useful either. It's better to focus on school, so I'm ignoring things like that."

"Oh, what a pity. If Kak Al expresses feelings at that time, it can be accepted. Brother Al is sweet like this which man will refuse?" Risa looks disappointed.

Alia, on the contrary, did not regret her choice at all back then.

"Oh, I didn't know that you-ehem, brother, had liked people before." Daniel spoke after a long silence.

Alia's smile and expression became stiff.

"Ahaha, even Brother Daniel doesn't know. Brother Al must have hidden it. By the way, does Brother Daniel also have this kind of experience?" Risa turned to Daniel, feeling happy to have herded this conversation on the two of them.

"There," replied Daniel briefly.

"What is High School Love? Or the one right now?"

"Most importantly, I still have those feelings for her up to now." Daniel answered calmly by looking at Risa flat and straight.

"Hooo, does Kak Al know about this? Know who that woman is?" Risa looked at Alia. More precisely trying to avoid the highlight of Daniel that feels intimidated.

Alia stammered. How do I answer? If what Daniel meant was her, there was no way Alia could have clearly said that.

Alia glanced at Daniel. Under the table, his hands were firmly clasped.

'Ugh, that look.'

The way Daniel looked at him confirmed Alia's conjecture. The woman in question is herself. Alia doesn't know how to respond to this.

While Alia was confused, Risa who from earlier sharply noticed became very excited until her face reddened. He looked at Daniel and Alia alternately, feeling that the relationship was very interesting.

"What's up here? You guys are quiet. Hey, Risa, fix your expression. You're such a pervert." Wilda came to their table. Behind him, Bram followed.

"Mama is so evil," murmured Risa.

Wilda knocked Risa's head. "Who are you calling Mama?"

Risa pointed at Wilda with her signature grin. "Ah, if I call you, I don't call you anymore. Papa!"

"You always talk as you please, yeah." Wilda pulled Risa's cheek, feeling anxious. "Eh? Where's the little girl?"

Alia breathed a sigh of relief with the arrival of the two of them. Enough to save him from the situation. "Carla came home first."

"Ah, so. Yeah, the show's almost done, too." Wilda nodded. "After this, you should come here often, yes. Otherwise, I'd have to stop by my house."

"Eh? Willa's gonna move here?" Alia's eyes widened in surprise.

Wilda nodded excitedly. "Yes, right. The plan, the branches of WR Coffee will be there in Central City as well, so I will arrange it from here. Rinda set that up in the Western City. I'll send you the address of the house."

Alia nodded happily. A moment later he seemed to think. "I want to talk to Aunt Rinda. It's been a long time since I've seen you."

Of course that's not all. Alia wants to meet Rinda to confirm about the cardboard box. He did not want to suspect Rinda. After all, after he thought about it, the possibility of Rinda being the one to look out for was very low. Alia remembered that the cardboard box had been around since her parents were alive. They should have known who the sender was but kept it a secret to Alia.

In addition, given the power that Rinda has, Alia wants to ask for help and tell about her mother's message to Rinda. Hope Rinda deigns to help him to prevent the big things Daniel will face later.

Daniel himself was making his gaze look inconspicuous as he watched Bram. Daniel thought about it. He felt that this man's posture was not foreign to him. Daniel has a very good memory. It was easy for him to distinguish one from another. Daniel feels he has met Bram before, but cannot remember clearly.

The dark blue eyes that Bram had were the same as him.

Daniel shook his head slowly, not wanting to think too much about it. He looked back at the conversation that was flowing at the table. Risa and Wilda dominate while Alia responds to some. He and Bram were both silent throughout the conversation. It's hard to join the women's conversation here.

About an hour later the new show was completely finished. Daniel and Alia are the last to return.

"Later I can call Brother Al, yes," cried Risa from her car and Bram. He waved his hand strongly.

Alia who was new would get into the car laughed softly and waved her hand. After Bram's car disappears from his sight, he enters.

Daniel runs his car after Alia puts on her seatbelt. As Alia had expected, this trip home must have been quiet. Alia leaned against the windshield of the car, staring at the surrounding traffic. For a moment he turned to Daniel, but he said nothing.

"We'll walk for a while" Daniel explained. He understood the meaning of Alia's gaze. Daniel did not take the route home.

"Why not go back?" Alia tried to resist with this question.

"It's a good place."

Alia once again felt free to bid on Daniel. He had no choice but to go with her.
