Alia emphasized the word 'brother' hoping Daniel would understand its meaning. Unfortunately Daniel just nodded his head and got up from the chair without changing his flat expression.
Daniel returned shortly thereafter. Alia guessed the man ran back because Daniel was back. The trap is not wrong. If he changed positions with one of the groups of men in the kitchen, surely he would be surprised to see Daniel who came in a hurry, took a spoon and left again.
Alia sat on the floor as Daniel returned.
"On top of it. Under the cold, you'll be sick."
"Do you know your brother this guy who's gonna get sick just from a little cold?" Alia stared intently, no longer paying attention to Daniel. He started taking his first feed. "It's delicious. Your cooking skills are still good."
Daniel ate while watching Alia. It was quite surprising to see Alia could quickly lower her anger. Daniel thought it was possible that Alia would avoid him for about a week at the very least. But looking at their interactions now, Daniel felt his thoughts were exaggerated.
When Alia was angry first, she also invited him to talk first. As before, Alia who was late coming home at that time immediately cooked food so that Daniel did not eat all day. Alia completely forgot all of her anger those few days and went back to acting as usual.
"The way you should be looking at Brother right now, you use to stare at other women out there." Alia spoke without seeing Daniel.
Alia did not want to continue being a fool about this. Daniel's gentle gaze was not addressed by a brother to his brother. Things that Alia had missed all this time.
"If I could." Daniel answered calmly.
Alia put her spoon on the tray. He pushed his bowl towards Daniel. "Since when?"
Daniel looked at Alia, momentarily understanding her point. He did not answer immediately, but finished his vegetable soup.
"I don't know for sure" replied Daniel.
Alia drank half a glass of water, then returned to thrust it into Daniel. The man took it and turned the glass. He drank right on the lip of the glass that Alia was wearing.
"Hey, that's Kak-kak's mouth"
"Is that a big deal for you?" Daniel smiled faintly.
"Ukh…." Alia held the curse in her heart. How could he forget Daniel's shrewdness in using words?
"Since childhood?" Daniel spoke again, asking himself that. "The only woman I've had in mind for a long time is the one in front of me right now."
"That long?" Alia widened her eyes. He was so shocked he hugged his knee. Unaware that his expression was Daniel's best entertainment.
"Amused, at first it was. Angels, that's what you call me. I thought this was normal and would fade away someday. But I was wrong." Daniel glared, remembering his feelings. "Everything became clear because all I thought about in those five years abroad was you and how I could bring back better things to make things easier for you."
Alia gulps. It's more serious than he thought. "But you said you've thought about other women, right? That time!"
"A simple woman with a sweet face and a big heart?" daniel asked, still remembering Alia's question at the beginning he just came here. "Yes, I once said. Unfortunately, it's the same person I'm talking about right now."
Alia pinched her head while sighing. "If you say that, have you ever really considered me your sister?"
Daniel nodded without hesitation. "sorry. But maybe not."
"What about Mom and Dad?" ask Alia again.
This time Daniel did not answer. But it's definitely the same negativity.
Silence was created between them. Alia never thought the distance between herself and Daniel could be this far, even though she was in front of him. Did Daniel feel something in common with Alia's current feelings? Distant and distant.
"Did Mom and Dad ever treat you badly?" lirih Alia's. He felt as if he had a myriad of energies just now, but when talking about this it felt like his body had become limp.
Daniel shook his head slowly. "No. Never once was. Mom and Dad were very nice. I know they seem to care more about me than you do. However, the affection they showed was different."
Daniel glanced at Alia who was like harboring a myriad of emotions.
"They love me like a jewel. While they love you like their own child" Daniel continued.
Alia bit her lip. Repeatedly breathing. His face showed disappointment. But there will also be anger and sadness. Alia was confused. "Whatever you think, it can't erase the fact that we're brothers. You understand this, right?"
Daniel looked at Alia more intensely. "What if we weren't sisters"
"Don't talk nonsense!" sergeant Alia fast. "You're just lonely! It makes you do crazy things like liking your own brother."
"I never said I liked you." Daniel shook his head as he grabbed a tray of empty bowls and glasses. His dark blue highlight looked at Alia sharply.
"I love you."
Alia closed her eyes tired. It felt like he wanted to cry, but it would be very bad to do it in front of Daniel. "How can you say that so seriously?"
"You know there's no way around this crazy relationship." Alia gave one sentence a really hard punch. "Stop acting like this."
This conversation was brutal. Alia is too emotional. While Daniel was so stubborn. There won't be the best deal Alia wants. It could be worse than before.
"You should try to forget how you feel, Daniel." Alia leaned on the edge of her bed. He's really tired. "It would be better if you don't reveal it and our relationship can remain as harmonious as ever."
"Right, I was being unwise with that statement. But, do you think I would have done that if it wasn't for the motivating factor?"
"What are you pushing for?" Alia still leaned back and closed her eyes with one hand.
"I don't like seeing you with other men. If you hadn't been close to the official's son, we might never have fought like this" Daniel replied slowly.
He's been looking for Kevin's background for the past few days. It is more accurate to say that Daniel knows Kevin better than Alia herself.
Alia glanced sharply. "Huh. Did you tell Brother to be an old virgin. Not close and will not marry anyone. That so?"
"The only option is to marry me, right?"
Alia's emotions are in the crown. He grabbed a book on his bed and threw it at Daniel. Very angry with that answer. Alia did not have to worry about Daniel getting hurt because she quickly secured the book that was floating towards him.
"You have to stop making jokes like that" Alia said.
Daniel took a breath. Same with Alia, he also felt his mind was slightly disturbed. All four of them think Alia is sweeter when in this emotional state. Daniel even intentionally bothered her.
"Effort to forget that feeling, Daniel," asked Alia, almost heartbroken.
Daniel nodded briefly. "All right, I'll try."
That answer made Alia's eyes light up again. "really? Brother will help you if you want to try."
Daniel did not respond immediately. He stood up while lifting his tray. "That would be great. Right, do it like that."
Alia also tried to stand up, although her knees were still shaky. He held on to the bed trying to climb up quickly. Alia regained half of her power in Daniel's response. Never did he think their negotiation riots could reach such a satisfactory point.
"Sister promise will help you," Alia said with a relieved smile.
Daniel smiled as he tilted his head. "Can I trust that promise?"
Alia nodded confidently. "Of course you can."
Daniel held back his laughter until his face turned red. He moved his foot towards the door of Alia's room. As he was about to open the door, Daniel turned to Alia with a meaningful smile.
"Then try to return my feelings in the same way. My job is to keep my feelings. And you promised to help" Daniel's little laugh sounded.
Alia sculpting. He looked at Daniel like he was looking at a swindler. "You!"
"I love you, Alia." Daniel returned seriously, but his focus on Alia softened. "I don't like giving up on what I've decided."
It was Daniel's second love statement. Alia was just silent, it was still too shocking for her to be able to respond to that statement.
"I'll keep your room key." Daniel wiggled the key in his hand. "Oh, one more thing. There are stressed people who miss your cooking. They complain a lot, I hope you come down and talk to them directly. But there's no need to obey the demons' request."
Alia still could not digest the situation when Daniel was just about to close the door of her room.
"Ah, and one last thing."
"There again?" Alia gave a perfect, semi-conscious look of daydreams.
Daniel carved a smile slowly. He touched her lips, and then pointed at Alia. His voice became more hoarse.
"I want to feel it again. Your lips."
Alia stared flatly. Even until Daniel closed the door perfectly.
"He's hoping I'll respond how?" alia said, trying to look normal. But it was very difficult as his face continued to blush without being commanded.
Alia spread out her body and covered her heated face.
"Mother, how is this? I'm going crazy" whined Alia alone.
