"Would you grab another drink?" alia asked with a small laugh.
Daniel at the kitchen door was still analyzing the situation, but finally let go of all his thoughts and stepped in. Moreover, Alia was already aware of his existence and greeted first.
"It's still too early, right?" Daniel narrowed his eyes, looking at the face of Alia who was spouted by the flour.
"No. It's normal time to wake up. Look, Carla's up too." Alia pointed at the corner of the kitchen, near the dining table. A girl fell down with a book into her head pillow.
To be seen however, Carla was clearly not awake. The little girl was like a fainted person rather than sleeping. Daniel was not aware of his existence. When Alia pointed, Daniel realized.
"Is this a new form of coercion?" ask Daniel. He took a cup and filled it with tea bags and a little sugar.
Alia poured the dough into the baking sheet slowly, looking very focused. I didn't hear Daniel's question.
Daniel stirred his tea which had been doused with warm water first. Waiting for Alia to lower her focus. It could be said to be an amusement for Daniel who enjoyed that solemn expression.
Alia flattened the surface of the dough on the baking sheet, then carried it into the oven. After regulating the temperature, Alia completed the remaining stages and breathed a sigh of relief. He looked at Daniel, who was watching him.
"Tumben once you make tea early in the morning. Usually it's just plain water" Alia commented.
Daniel lifted two chairs from the dining table without making a sound. Trying not to disturb Carla. "Sit. This is tea for my brother. Still like tea, right?"
Alia received the tea with a small smile. "Thank you."
Daniel took another glass and filled it with plain water. He sat down next to Alia. The woman was now busy installing a timer.
"So, how did you persuade Carla to come here?" Daniel glanced at Carla whose breathing was still regular, looking good even with a position that was not so comfortable. "Is there an element of coercion here?"
Daniel knows Carla isn't an early bird. He skipped breakfast more often because he was still asleep and Daniel also understood how difficult it was to wake the little girl.
"She said she wanted to see and help, so an hour ago, Brother knocked on her room, and brought her here," Alia replied lightly.
"Likely?" Daniel still can't believe it.
"He wasn't too happy, just now. After giving the cookie recipe book, she went on to sleep like that." Alia shrugged her shoulders, answering lightly.
"Why not just ask for help from the waiter?" Daniel stretched out his hand, touching Alia's cheek. "A lot of flour."
Alia brushed off Daniel's hand, a little annoyed. His sister now often touches him. He did not know that everything he did suddenly sometimes made Alia nervous as well.
"Sister doesn't want to trouble them. Surely they already have their own jobs," said Alia while rubbing her cheek that Daniel had touched.
"When my intention was to hire them to make Kak Al more relaxed." Daniel held a smile as he looked at Alia who was only clearing a small portion of the flour on her face.
Alia shakes. "Enough by relaxing. That's boring. Better to do something worthwhile than to keep doing nothing all day."
Daniel took a breath. Alia was indeed stubborn and especially for this, she must have her own strong opinion. Daniel did intend to give Alia more rest, considering the woman was always working hard all the time first.
Alia is Alia.
A faint smile was etched on Daniel's lips. Makes the face flat and the cold slightly soften. Alia proved herself special just from things that looked small like this. "Let me help clean it up."
Daniel pulled his chair closer. One hand was placed on the back of Alia's head, preventing her from dodging. While Daniel began to wipe the flour on Alia's forehead. Then down to his nose.
Alia did not have time to refuse, she occasionally closed her eyes. As Daniel gave a small pull to her nose, Alia opened her eyes and glared at the protest. Daniel patted his cheeks one by one. Lastly, the man pinched his cheek, making Alia groan stifled.
"Ah, it hurts." Alia hit Daniel's hand hard and put away his face. He rubbed his cheeks which began to blush sideways.
"Follow the hell," worried Daniel. He still wants to do that again.
"Follow your head," murmured Alia, still feeling the pain.
Daniel propped up his chin, looking at Alia as if there was no tomorrow for him to do this again.
Alia herself was dissolved in her daydream. He was honestly quite surprised by Daniel's increasingly courageous behavior. Daniel was a brave boy, but today, the context is very different. It's more on the guy's prank that's increasing on him.
"Damn it, waking up the situation is like this" complained someone in the corner.
Alia turned her head full while Daniel only glanced for a moment. To him, looking at Alia was more pleasant.
"Carla, you're finally awake. Doesn't your chest hurt by sleeping like that?" ask Alia.
Alia shook her head, then looked at her phone. "Twelve minutes to go."
"You're really making mocha cake?" ask Carla again.
Alia nodded. "Every chef makes a mocha cake at WR Coffee, the aroma is very good. Wilda also often brought home this cake. So, this is pretty familiar."
Carla heard all the while ago, although it actually remained meticulous. "I'm important I want to decorate."
Alia agreed. He had a lot of practice decorating the cake. Although a little he understands making, but decorating it is another challenge.
"That's why you want to get up so early, Carla?" Daniel joined in their conversation.
Carla who felt reminded was once again irritated. "I just wanted to decorate the cake, so I agreed to help. It turns out that Alia would even make it in the morning blind like this."
Alia laughed awkwardly. "I can't make breakfast either. Last night you said you were gonna be busy starting in the morning, so no one had time for breakfast."
Daniel nodded in confirming. Today will be busy. They have to prepare a lot to open Daniel's new company here. Only Carla refuses to come along because she thinks it's a tedious job.
All that activity prompted Alia to do her baking exercises. As Daniel said before, there are many ingredients to make a cake, even the ingredients to decorate it are also there. The equipment Daniel provides is also very complete, until Alia has to open the internet to find out the function of some tools she does not know.
Alia's phone suddenly rang making their light conversation come to a halt. Alia now took time to the corner to pick up the phone call.
"From Sister Wilda" whispered Alia before she began to move away.
Wilda did call him a lot in the morning like this. The reason for summing up was because it knew Alia's wake schedule all along. So he won't worry about interrupting.
Daniel's gaze could not be separated from Alia when the woman began to walk to the corner where Carla had fallen asleep. Things that did not escape Carla's observation.
"Sister Daniel likes Alia, right" whispered Carla, making sure Alia was not aware of her words.
Daniel raised both eyebrows. Carla was the first to talk about this. "What looks clear?"
Carla rotates her eyeballs, though actually feels excited because Daniel doesn't deny it. "Little children will know that Brother Daniel likes him."
"Is Alia also aware of this?" Daniel asked lightly despite a bit of panic as well. His flat expression was very helpful at this moment.
Carla's head was covered with a lazy look. "A fool seems to be sensitive to things like this."
"But it's not like it" elak Daniel.
"Then?"
"Oh, like too shallow. Love?"
"Sister love? It's stale to hold on to that." Carla added as she glanced at Alia who looked happy and busy with her conversation.
Daniel shakes. "indeed not. Alia's an amazing woman, isn't she?"
Carla refused to praise, but did not deny it either. Alia does have her own character and charm that makes her special compared to anyone. But Daniel's love situation is obviously quite controversial.
"What is your relationship if Brother Daniel continues this feeling?" ask Carla.
"I don't plan on revealing it." Daniel shook his head calmly. "But it still does not rule out the possibility of it happening in the following days."
"The jealousy of Brother Daniel is quite high, yes," taunted Carla, trying to capture the meaning of Daniel's words and yesterday's events.
The two of them simultaneously fell silent as Alia was already walking back with her bright face.
"Is there good news?" ask Daniel lightly.
Alia nodded excitedly. "WR Coffee will open a branch in Central City. Can you come there later?"
Daniel smiled gently, unconsciously showing an expression that only Alia could get. "Of course."
Carla who suspected her body of being transparent there clearly did not miss this opportunity to be flabbergasted. It's almost like a one-to-a-million comparison looking at Daniel's expression like this. Alia probably didn't know that Daniel was too stiff at work because he always acted like this to her all the time.
"Love can really change a person" Carla murmured along with a small ruckus.
