About thirty minutes into Daniel's drive, Alia still did not know the purpose of their journey.
"Al, look to the right," Daniel's direction.
Alia who had been facing the side window was looking at Daniel curiously. However, the view through the window next to Daniel attracted more attention. Alia straightened her body, staring in amazement.
Daniel lowered his window, let the wind in and scattered his hair. "The salty aroma is already smelled from here."
"Sea," muttered Alia. He could not hide his enthusiasm.
Although it is called the Central City, but it is not in the middle. The central city is in the eastern part which borders directly with the sea.
In Alia's head there was only a shadow of the sea, even though she was staring at him. "Lot."
"Public day." Daniel looked around. Family cars and young people were all over the eyes of the beholder. "More if it's a national holiday."
It is not difficult to find parking around. Daniel clasped Alia's hand as soon as they entered the beach.
"We can't swim at the moment. Just playing water is enough?"
"Eh? Can I play water?" Alia's eyes widened.
Alia subconsciously returned Daniel's grasp equally tightly. Daniel looked at their hands, then nodded slowly. He had not expected Alia to be this enthusiastic.
It's no exaggeration to say that Alia has never been to the beach before. In fact, just looking at the sea directly he had no chance. Alia grew up in a deserted Western City. In his entire life he never imagined such an opportunity.
Daniel pulls Alia gently, taking her away from the crowd.
"Now it is cloudy. But it's usually hot again." Daniel stared at the clouds in the sky.
He took Alia to the merchant who was selling hats. Buy one for him and let Alia choose the hat she wants.
"You want to go straight to the water?" daniel asked after Alia had put up her hat.
Alia nodded strongly, since earlier she refrained from running directly to the beach.
Daniel takes Alia near the water. "Please take off your footwear."
Alia said, he took up his flat shoes and walked on the sand. Daniel's hand slipped off so that Alia was closer to the water.
The touch of water on her feet made Alia's smile expand. His little laugh sounded so sweet. Daniel, who was only a few steps behind him, smiled.
Only from these simple things could Alia smile so widely. Daniel looked at Alia's cheeks that were faintly blushing with excitement. Alia did not walk any further, only letting the water touch her ankle.
Alia gazed at the horizon, watching the blue that clashed between the sky and the sea. The wind blows harder here, making his long hair blow. Alia held onto her wide hat, preventing it from being blown away by the wind.
Despite the bustling outside, not so many have approached the beach like them. Alia stepped along the shoreline, leaving her feet battered by the small waves.
"Remove it" asked Daniel.
Alia turned her head, looking at Daniel's outstretched hand at her. "What?"
"Shoes."
Alia looked at her shoes, then shook her head. "no need. I can take it myself."
"Look, the shell is moving," pointed Daniel suddenly. "Where to go see, his shoes come."
Alia immediately did Daniel's orders, handed over her shoes. He walked quickly in the direction Daniel pointed.
"Like a child." Daniel shook his head and carried their shoes with one hand. He couldn't help but feel that Alia was so sweet right now.
"Woah, is this a hermit?" Alia raised the shelled animal in her hand. "He's hiding."
Alia wants to show it to Daniel. He flipped his body just as the man called out to him.
"Revelation!"
Alia's body was pushed away as the children's voices were heard. Alia drifted forward after a troop of runaway children hit her. He could have regained his balance if it wasn't sand. Alia tripped while trying to stand up straight, making her fall back.
A moment before Alia touched the sand, two big hands were already holding her shoulders and pulling her waist.
"Daniel."
"Be careful" responded Daniel. He helped Alia get back up straight.
"What?"
"Should've washed away!"
Daniel turned his head and saw their shoes that were tossed by the waves on the beach. "Ah, fuck."
Daniel panics too much when he sees Alia almost falling. He was unconscious when his hands threw his shoes. Instead of going ashore, Daniel threw him into the water.
"Why should I take it too, anyway?" grouse Daniel. His pants are wet to the knees. "You can buy it again."
Alia could not help but laugh as she watched Daniel rise from the water with a grim face. He laughed until he was in the sand.
"Yes satisfied?" Daniel half threw their shoes, a little annoyed.
"Ahahaha, after all, you're a freak. Even if you let me fall, it's okay. It's not stone or asphalt." Alia patted the sand next to him, still with laughter.
Daniel did not respond. He was also confused by his response so he could not think well. Similarly, when Alia shouted at the shoes earlier. He only realized that doing other futile things after getting all his shoes and wet his pants.
Alia stood up again after laughing. He approached Daniel and stood on his tiptoes. Daniel's hat that he dropped was Alia put back. "It is rare to see the ridiculous behavior of a Daniel."
Daniel catches Alia's right hand before moving away. He looked down, staring at the bracelet that was placed in Alia's hand. From the beginning he kept watching this. "You're still wearing it."
The rhinestone bracelet Daniel bought on the day of the celebration adorned Alia's hands. For this, Alia forgot altogether. He was wearing it because he thought Daniel wouldn't be coming today. If she knew it would be like this, Alia would not even think of wearing it. He knew this situation might happen. The moment they both remembered that day.
"I'm glad you didn't throw it away. I thought that out of anger yesterday, you would never wear it again" Daniel continued with a gentle smile. He reached into the pocket of his pants, took out another bracelet from there.
Daniel put the bracelet on Alia's right hand. Bracelets with shells in place of beads. The small white shells held together by the light brown rope collided with the imitation diamond Alia in her right hand.
The bracelet that Daniel chose well in the souvenir seller when Alia was busy choosing the hat earlier.
"Simple little things. Every time we look at these bracelets, the present moment will always be remembered." Daniel took off Alia's wide hat, staring clearly at the woman's expression.
Daniel took off his grip and switched by tucking Alia's hair behind his ear. Daniel took a step forward and lowered his body.
"I love you, Al. Very much in love" whispered Daniel.
Alia's wide hat was lifted up, covering their faces that were getting closer.
Alia was not ready from the beginning. As the third statement was uttered by Daniel, Alia seemed to be sedated by the dark blue iris looking at her softly. He wouldn't have expected Daniel to do that again. Although it cannot be said to be a kiss, but still make the hearts of both of them race fast.
Daniel gave a light kiss on Alia's slightly open lips. Short, but still brings a pleasant sensation. The sense of their lips touching each other relieved Daniel's desire since he last did this.
The wide hat that Daniel wore to cover his action was put back on Alia's head. He patted Alia's head slowly. Without permission, Daniel took Alia's hand and held her tightly. Daniel took Alia along the beach, enjoying her time that Alia did not protest.
Alia herself did not resist Daniel's pull. He looked down, staring at the wet sand below. His face was flushed and there was no sign of fading. Alia kept repeating the memories in her head. As usual, he realized too late. Alia couldn't prevent it.
Alia glanced at their interlocked hands. Also a new bracelet that Daniel gave. The man did all this gently and sweetly. Even that kiss can't be hated. Nor can he resist the little things Daniel gave him.
Slowly, Alia looked up slightly, stealing glances at Daniel who was focused forward.
The deg!
Alia's heart was pounding again. It feels so foreign. He always praised Daniel's charm. Alia still behaves normally. However, what is this? His heart was pounding just by looking at Daniel's side. Her firm jaw and sun-drenched sharp eyes, messy hair and thin lips that had twice felt hers. Everything looks perfect.
Alia gulped, back down. What's he thinking?
Did he just admire Daniel?
'Wire,' thought Alia. His hands squeezed the collar of clothes. His anxiety appeared without a second thought.
It would be very bad if Alia liked Daniel. Alia feared that the purpose of this debaran was the growth of the seeds of forbidden taste.
Alia is a woman who has never felt all this. It definitely takes time for him to get used to it. But if he got used to Daniel's touch, it would be the least he wanted.
Alia again remembered her behavior that she had unconsciously done earlier. For a moment because he was too happy, he forgot to keep his distance from Daniel. Alia had forgotten all the conflicts that had occurred between them. Even with Daniel's feelings for her. He forgot all. You could say Alia was the one who opened the chance of Daniel stealing the kiss.
'No, this has to stop. Daniel is very gentle and good at doing this. If I let it go on, I could really fall for it. Can't.' Alia shook her head strongly, dispelling that thought.
It seemed like using the way he had thought before was the only way. Alia is determined to get this done and block Daniel's path to her.
He will never be aware until the time his plan brings more inevitable problems in the days ahead.
