Sisterzones

Sisterzones
I'm like a person in love, huh?

A message came in and Alia closed the book. He barely held a cell phone all day, so decided to cut his reading time to look around. If Carla was here, she would have nagged her.

"Well, he's fast too" he murmured after seeing the contents of the message.

Kevin just sent me an address somewhere, asking for Alia's willingness to meet at that place tomorrow afternoon. Alia had previously promised, after all she has no agenda for tomorrow other than to relax. In fact, Alia considers the meeting as a way to end her days later which was a little tedious.

Alia stretched her body after putting the phone away. He glanced at the glass door facing the balcony. "It looks like the weather's pretty good tonight."

Just as Alia was about to turn off her room lights, she faintly heard a knock on the door. The beat was very small, as if it was not intended for the person inside. Alia rushed to the door and opened it.

"Eh? What's up, Daniel?" he was astonished when he saw the person standing in front of the door.

Daniel was a little surprised when the door opened. "Ah, Brother. L'm... Can't sleep."

Alia opened the door to her room wider. He had to look up to look at Daniel. With a small smile, Alia waited for the man's explanation.

"I have to sleep tonight. I have a lot to do tomorrow. But my eyes are hard to shut," Daniel continued, rubbing his neck nervously.

Alia nodded in understanding, still waiting for the reason Daniel visited her these nights.

"Then.that, sorry. Um... I used to see my brother fall asleep. It feels so calm and peaceful. I thought if I saw Brother Alia for a moment, it could help me get some peace of sleep as well." Daniel's voice is getting smaller. He covered a part of his face that was hot again. His face must have been flushed by now.

Seeing Daniel who looked so nervous made Alia let out a small laugh. Actually, this surprised him quite a bit. Daniel has never acted this way before. The man in front of him who used to put on a flat expression and always uttered those cold words was now like an adorable little boy. Nervous and timid.

"Forget the laugh of Brother. Do you need anything else, Daniel? Just want to see Brother?" Alia wanted to tempt Daniel further, but she was a little bit of pity on the face that Daniel never showed anyone.

Daniel took a long breath. Trying to control his breathing and heartbeat. "If I may, can I see Brother asleep? I'll sit far away so as not to disturb."

Alia almost laughed again, but she could endure it this time. "No other offers, do you want to hear?"

Daniel nodded once.

"Let's sleep together," Alia invited with a big smile.

Sounds normal, but to Daniel it's like hearing a bomb. Or it could be, he interpreted it as his heart brazenly beating very fast, hammering into his chest that was only covered in thin pajamas.

"Me-can you?" ask Daniel and take a look. He did not want Alia to notice her blushing face or her weird expression.

"Can't really?" reply Alia quickly. He pulled Daniel's hand into the room and locked the door.

Daniel who immediately became slow to think so surprised when Alia turned off her room lights. "e-uh. Why are the lights turned off?"

Alia looked astonished. "Do you want to sleep with the lights on?"

Daniel's getting embarrassed. He shook his head tired, trying to get rid of the strange thoughts that were milling around in his head. For some reason, tonight his brain is not working as well as usual.

"Are you still in doubt? Hm... Right, you're not the little Daniel you used to be, but a grown man. Huh... My Daniel has grown up" lamented Alia patting Daniel's shoulder straight.

"Danielku," repeated Daniel. He tried to prevent a grin from forming on his lips. Daniel likes that name.

Daniel always walks fast, fast, and sure. But this time he forgot how to do it. His steps were currently hesitating and trembling. But he tried to keep looking normal until he reached the other side of the bed.

"Is it no problem?" daniel asked doubtfully.

"This bed is very large. Load for three or four people. If it's just you, yeah, it doesn't matter." Alia has climbed into her bed. Throw a pillow near Daniel and spread out the blanket.

Daniel scratched his head awkwardly. "That's not what I meant."

"Then what? Isn't it normal that brother and sister sleep together?" Alia smiled slightly, then pulled out her blanket. "Good night, Daniel. Make yourself comfortable to sleep."

Daniel took a breath. Is correct. It is common for fellow brothers to sleep in bed. What's he thinking? Even if they were both adults, it would not erase the status of their second brother. Daniel went up to the bed, trying to distance himself from Alia.

For a long time he tried to close his eyes, but could not bring him to sleep, even though the night began to reach the top. Daniel tilted his body, looking at the back of Alia who was behind him. The woman forgot to take off the ribbon that tied her black hair. Daniel reached out his hand, but it was too far away. Both he and Alia were at the end of the bed.

Daniel wants to get closer to Alia. He wanted to gently touch each strand of the woman's hair. But his hunch says, if he shifts just a little bit, don't know what he'll do later.

Bizarrely. What makes Daniel worry like this? Isn't Alia his sister? He felt that he was just standing in the same place but was unable to reach it because of fear of his controlling ability.

Daniel's heart that lately often thumped back to make a tantrum when Alia suddenly turned her body. The woman sighed softly while rubbing her eyes. He looked at Daniel with contempt, but tried to comment on a gentle smile. "Ouch, sorry. You've been here, but Brother didn't help at all."

Daniel was glued to the sight before him. Her brain could not think well as Alia shifted her place lying down near Daniel's outstretched hand. Alia lay on her side as well and took Daniel's hand, grasping it tightly. "Is this enough? I don't know if this will help you sleep."

Finished saying that, Alia again closed her eyes. Soon, her breathing became regular, a sign that the woman was asleep.

Daniel's body became stiff. He could feel the roar of Alia's breath in the hand held by him. Daniel's gaze could not be separated from Alia's peaceful face in her sleep.

Yeah, that's what he's looking for. The peaceful face made him calmer. Alia is the antidote, but also the poison. The reason that made it difficult for Daniel to fall asleep was also because of Alia, and the woman was also the reason for feeling better.

Daniel was curious. He wanted to find out the reason why his heart was suddenly pounding. Daniel spent time in the office assuming he would experience it again. If true, then Daniel will go straight to the hospital to check. But his heartbeat did not happen again as long as he was doing his job.

He thought he had guessed wrong. But suddenly his heart went crazy again when he met or even just saw Alia when he came home and had dinner last night.

Daniel was quite depressed thinking about this. The feeling of comfort and pleasure every time he met Alia and the foreign impulse that made him want to be close and touch the woman made Daniel a little frustrated. Daniel stared at the small hand of Alia who was grasping at him beginning to slacken. Quickly, Daniel returned the grip even tighter. His body moved on its own, rejecting the sane statement of his brain.

The distance between Daniel and Alia's faces was limited only by their interlocking hands. Daniel felt his chest again, but he did not try to fight back. Instead, Daniel tried to enjoy his heartbeat which brought about that comfortable feeling.

"I'm like someone who's in love, huh?" murmured Daniel in a small voice.

It took him a few seconds until he opened his eyes quickly with a feeling of surprise. What did he just say? Daniel now feels his heart beating is painful. There was no comfortable feeling like that. A realization led him to the most rational conjecture he could give.

"Cannot be. Am I really...."

Daniel looked at Alia closely. Started to realize every weird thing that's happened to her lately.

"Do I like my brother?"
