Sunlight penetrated the glass door, giving a warm touch in the room. Although it brings the spirit of a new day, in fact, sunlight is the biggest enemy of anyone who still wants to continue sleeping.
No exception to the figure of the woman on the bed who was groaning softly when the sunlight dazzled her eyes that were still closed. The woman flipped her body, trying to turn her back on the light. However, it was only for a moment that he immediately woke up. Half shocked dead. His heart was pounding as if it was about to be dislodged right then and there.
"Crazy, what's going on? Alia, what are you doing?" the woman muttered to herself.
Alia, who tried to stand up from the bed, sat down again. He held his head that was still a little dizzy and felt his forehead that was wrapped in bandages. Not only that, Alia also felt pain and soreness all over her body, until she decided to lay half her body in bed again.
"Ugh, my head," he said. "Where is this?"
Alia closed her eyes again, but kept trying to keep herself conscious. He was trying to remember last night. Those disgusting thugs caused a cut on his forehead. Alia could not remember clearly how she could end up unconscious.
"Am I kidnapped?"
Alia opened her eyes, shuddered to herself, but then shook her head weakly. He glanced at the glass door where the sunlight penetrated him. "If the real kidnaps, then the kidnapper is too good. Is there a kidnapper who wants to take care of his victims' wounds? Besides the size of the victim, this room is too good to be a hostage place. There's no way a kidnapper would put his victim in a room with a glass door like that."
Alia slowly tried to sit down again. Now he can better tolerate his dizziness. His gaze was fixed on the unmitigated glass door spilling all the sunlight inside.
Thinking diligently and long is not the hallmark of Alia. As soon as he made the conclusion of his circumstances, all that would be done next was to make sure. He did not even think further about how his clothes had changed from the one he was wearing last night.
Alia forced her body to stand up. Once he felt capable, he stepped slowly closer to the glass door. Alia found the key hanging and tried to open it. "My opponent to escape is huge if it's kidnapping. So that's very unlikely."
Alia pushed the glass door slowly, then stepped quietly on the marble balcony in front of her. All he could see was the leaves of a highland tree that was shaped like a needle. The room should be on the second floor of the building, or any floor other than the ground floor.
Alia's heart almost stopped beating when she saw someone in a headdress jacket crouching over the balcony railing and behind her.
"Ah~ thank goodness I managed to escape. Who wants to be a WOAH instructor!"
Alia widened her eyes and moved back a few steps as the person looked back and shouted. Alia's hair wentosebumps instantly as the man - who was a man - was shocked to the point of falling forward and falling down.
Just as Alia thought she would hear a thud and groan from down there, the man gushed his head all of a sudden. Alia retreated as the man smirked at her.
"Wah-wah, miss. Isn't it a little outrageous, making people surprised like this?" ask the man. He lifted his body and sat back on the railing. Seeing Alia who was still wary of him made the man so want to disturb further.
Alia grew more and more backward as the man jumped up and approached towards her.
"I guess this lady is a little different. That's not a false guess. My name is Aslan, we've met before." Aslan halted his steps, waiting for Alia's response. Actually this woman in front of him made herself quite curious. Aslan was always on the lookout for his surroundings, but he even belatedly noticed Alia's presence earlier.
"Truly similar to her brother," Aslan muttered softly, making sure Alia did not hear his words.
Alia, on the contrary, was trying to remember. He had only heard that name recently. He widened his eyes when he realized this person in front of him. "You were at the cafe that day!"
Aslan simply shrugged his shoulders lightly.
Alia remembered this man in front of her had a different appearance to the first they met. His hair and irises were brown while at the moment, Aslan was striking with his red hair and golden yellow eyes.
Aslan was just about to say something as he changed his expression all of a sudden.
"Akh, fuck. Why are they forcing once?" Aslan turned around and was about to jump again. But before that he turned to Alia and gave a blink of an eye. "If anyone asks, please don't tell me that I was here or met you, miss. I have to go."
Alia widened her eyes as Aslan performed another dangerous stunt by jumping straight from the balcony. Alia's curious nature led her to stare down as well. There was some commotion and footsteps of many people. Alia sat down and tilted her head carefully, watching the several confused men below. There were also screaming.
The incident was a little confusing for Alia. He guessed so many things that he did not realize someone was sitting behind him.
Alia jumped in shock and turned around while tightening her body, moving away from the origin of the sound. His vigilance increased rapidly as he looked at the man in front of him. A second before he noticed the deep dark blue iris and face of the most familiar person in his life. His vigilance sagged rapidly, changing with matchless shock. Alia's two hands had to cover her open mouth.
The man thinned his beautiful lips, making a charming smile curvature under the shadow of the needle leaves. "Hi, Brother."
"Daniel!!!" peekik Alia's. Jumped into a hug on Daniel who received it tightly.
A feeling of relief enveloped Alia. The corner of his eyes until it was watering with excitement. Daniel said nothing more. He tightened his embrace, wrapping Alia's small body with all his hands.
After quite a while, Alia suddenly pushed the chest of Daniel's field and dealt a hard blow to his sister's head.
"Oh, what the fuck?" moaning Daniel rubbed the part that Alia hit.
"It's nothing." Alia answered lightly. "Silver just finished a promise to yourself that will hit your head when you meet. It's good to have ignored so many incoming calls, huh?"
Daniel did not comment, but instead immediately gave a strong flick right on Alia's forehead that was not covered in bandages.
"It hurts!" furious Alia held her forehead. "You're on your revenge?"
Daniel did not immediately comment. He gently touched the bandage on Alia's forehead, then gave the woman a sharp look. "What is our agreement on safety and security?"
Alia immediately silenced, regretting that she had disputed the flick.
"When I meet, I hope to be in good shape. But how could something bad like this ever happen again? Looks like we have a promise not to go through that alley again, is growing old in our twenties already making people senile?" nagging Daniel with his familiar cold face.
If others were to address her like this, Alia would definitely not let everything pass by. But Daniel's gaze did not diminish as horrible as he remembered it, even as it increased. This made Alia so unable to reply to anything.
"Sorry," said Alia while biting her lips while looking down. He felt very upset and embarrassed, but could not show it.
"Thank God my friends aren't too late. Otherwise, it might not be just the forehead that's hurting." Daniel softened his speech, instead of rubbing Alia's messy hair.
"Your friends? People named Aslan and umm.. The other one, Ca-Carla?"
Daniel did not answer.
"Then is this your friend's house?" ask Alia again.
"Not."
"Then?"
"Our house" replied Daniel lightly.
Alia waited for Daniel to laugh or make another response to his joke just now. But Daniel is too perfect to pretend. Alia could not find any sign of lies.
"Seriously?"
"Do I look like I'm lying?" Daniel who could guess the thought of Alia shrugged her shoulders lightly.
Alia was still late digesting everything so the only words that came out of her lips were...
"Huh?"
