"What's a real offer?" ask Daniel at the end.
Alia smiled with an elusive expression. "Try it. Then I'll throw you from up here."
Alia looked serious with her words. He became cheerful again as he shifted his gaze and stared at those flying lanterns. There are many who are hovering above them.
The bright yellow light of the burning candle drives away the darkness of the day that steps into the night. Moreover, this number is hundreds. With a wide field of view and its position at the top makes the sensation of seeing the stars up close. Or so Alia guessed from the thoughts of the little children who were down there.
"Beautiful," praised Alia.
"It's beautiful." Daniel looked at Alia with a warm feeling. Although for a moment he had felt annoyed with Alia who was playing with him earlier. "And not responsible."
Daniel's words were definitely not for those lanterns.
"Ah, the operator is waving towards us," Alia said as she looked down.
"Give a sign to move the ring" Daniel commanded.
Alia raised her thumb, not understanding what movements could be used as a sign. The operator rushed to do it. Make the ring go round. Alia now understands why the operation was stopped. Obviously this would interfere with the flight of those lanterns. At the moment they've been quite high, so Alia and Daniel can spin down. Alia glanced at Daniel who was back in silence. Admiring any way that made his officers allow them to board.
"Now are we going home?" alia asked when they had come down from the ring.
"Now? Isn't there something you want to do before you get back?" ask Daniel back.
Alia laughed a little. Daniel guessed very accurately. There's one thing Alia still wants to do here right now.
Daniel pointed in one direction, taking Alia there. The guard was waiting for them with two lanterns that had been assembled but not yet turned on
"How do you know this is what I want?" Alia stared at the lantern in her hand with high enthusiasm.
"Your face was about to scream, 'I want to fly one too'. Before I was just guessing, it actually looked like that." Daniel explained after taking one of the lanterns and walking away.
Alia followed without asking or protesting. He did not want to mess up his good mood. Daniel's been taking her to interesting places ever since.
Near the town square was a canal and a small bridge made across the canal. The bridge was even made of solid iron so it looks clean and charming. The place was purposely built for recreation as part of the square. Usually this area is crowded, but everything seems to be sucked into the center of the square itself. Making Daniel and Alia the only visitors there.
Alia saw the bianglala vehicle that is still visible from its place. The rides resumed and bright lights began to spread again in the plaza they left.
Daniel thrusts the lantern in his hand at Alia, asking non-verbally for Alia to take hold. Afterwards Daniel lights Alia's lantern.
"Is there any hope you want to say?" Daniel looked at Alia, opening his silence between them.
Alia thought for a moment, then nodded. Today was the best day for him. He thought he would feel this pleasure when he was with Kevin, but it was Daniel who gave him more. Alia is very grateful to Daniel who has given her a lot of happiness today.
"I will dedicate my hope to you. Well, here's the hope. May you be with the woman you love forever." Alia looked at her lantern seriously. Hoping that it would really bring his hopes up and make it real.
"I don't need that kind of hope" grumbled Daniel.
"Need, know! You should get a girlfriend soon. You're too lonely to ask your own sister out." Alia looked at Daniel while shaking her head.
Daniel looked down, watching the lantern. "What is it, when I am not lonely at all."
Daniel dodged the stamp. He asks Alia out on a date based on her full wish. Saying that this was all just to eliminate desolation was like making a derogatory statement to Alia herself. Daniel looked at Alia with a gentle look from the past.
Alia was also looking at him. Without knowing the contents of Daniel's mind, Alia gave her sweet smile.
"Then, I'll hope for a woman named Alia as well. May Alia be happy with the man who loves her. Forever." Daniel took the plea seriously.
Alia's smile became a small laugh. He had no intention of protesting that hope even though it sounded unfair to him.
"Have you? Let's fly," cried Alia cheerfully. He moved a little away from Daniel. "Calculate together."
"One... two... three!" They count together.
The two lanterns began to rise, joining the others. Some of the lanterns that were released at the beginning had already started to descend, making the lanterns both look like they were different from flying upwards on their own. Some lanterns did fly towards them, giving a golden reflection in the canal.
Alia continued to pay attention to the two lanterns they released. Not realizing that Daniel was more interested in staring at him than those lanterns.
Daniel approached Alia. When the woman realized, she was already beside him, tidying up the suit that Alia now wears to the full, not just a canoe.
Alia's tiny body was like sinking in that big suit. But he looks comfortable. Alia let Daniel stroke her head, muffling her frustration with the incantation she repeated. 'Patience, only this moment.'
Daniel advances his body, peeping at Alia's head.
Daniel pays attention to his hearing, letting Alia speak as she pleases.
Isn't this what Daniel likes?
Alia's flushed cheek hue showed that apart from being shocked, the woman was also nervous. Alia covered it with a long grumble.
Daniel was hesitant and scared of his feelings. But tonight, he made sure of everything. Right, just one last step. Daniel quickly grabbed Alia into a tight embrace. This time, he did it with full awareness.
Alia who did not anticipate the movement became silent stiff. No more talking. How do you describe his feelings now? Alia rarely connected with Daniel through a touch like this. Daniel who suddenly hugged her for no reason like this made Alia even more nervous. He knows, just like him, Daniel is also awkward with a lot of touch.
"It's for our date-dates cover." Daniel whispered in Alia's reddened ear, smiling a little because he knew her ears must be the same fate. "Give me permission."
Alia gulped her saliva, not knowing what to respond to. Daniel sounds serious. "Y-yes?"
"I didn't hear."
Alia took a breath, trying to stay calm. "Yes, it's up to you."
Daniel smiled faintly. "That's the wrong answer."
Alia did not understand what Daniel said. He thought it was done when the man stretched his arms. But he mistook. Daniel grabbed his waist tight and with one hand behind Alia's head, pushed her gently. Alia was electrocuted as she felt Daniel's lips on her forehead. Pecking at the same place that Kevin did last afternoon.
There was nothing Alia could do but shut up. Alia closed her eyes as Daniel did not stop her light kiss, creeping up to the temple of her eye.
The bravest act Daniel has taken so far. It is not time to be sure of his feelings. It's time to strengthen what he feels.
Daniel loves this woman in front of him.
Alia Redalia's.
Her sister's.
How he started feeling this, Daniel doesn't know. He just likes to watch Alia. His change of emotions and expression, his calmness and commotion, his gentleness and even stubbornness, his worries and courage. The only female figure who lodged in his head for five years in the land of people. Just this woman. Just Alia.
Daniel took off his fondling, smiling satisfiedly at Alia's obedience.
Alia, who had been closed, started to open her eyes. The first thing he saw was Daniel smiling. Alia who was already embarrassed felt that smile was like mocking her. Moreover, Daniel was still holding his waist from earlier.
"The logic!" Alia clutched Daniel's jaw. He always wondered how the jaw could be as firm and sexy as it was on him. Now Alia was spilling her frustration by doing this.
"Ouch, sick. Stop it, Brother."
Alia was also devastated by the call of honor that she did not receive half today. He took off his grip and rebelled from Daniel's embrace.
"I won't apologize" Daniel said ahead of Alia.
Hearing that made Alia scowl. Know why Daniel refused to apologize for his permission.
"Don't do it again. You could really fall in love with me." Alia held her head, still feeling the rest of her body heat.
"That sounds like a good idea, too" replied Daniel.
"What?!"
Daniel shook his head, picking up Alia who was away by extending her hand. "There's still something I want to show you. Let's go now, before Riki gets upset."
Alia welcomed Daniel's hand and walked with him. "Ricky? What's wrong with him?"
Daniel gives silence in response, letting Alia re-examine. He glanced at Alia who was busy thinking until it became quieter
Not time.
Daniel will still be playing a younger brother now. He did not want to surprise Alia too much. If possible, Alia would not need to know her feelings for good. Maybe he will try to eliminate it over time. Daniel will let Alia be happy with the man of her choice. But when Kevin's face suddenly appeared in his head he immediately shook his head slowly.
"No, not with him" murmured Daniel. Refuse to the last thought.
"Why?" ask Alia astonished. Daniel suddenly shook his head and spoke to himself.
"Sir Alia don't get married first" Daniel replied accordingly.
Alia frowned, getting more and more astonished by this young man's line of thought.
