Alia walked down the main building. A female servant led him with a big smile.

"This is so incredible. I thought I'd see this only in the movies" said Alia, admiring the elegant ornaments and embellishments along the way. "You yourself? Have you worked in a place like this before?"

The waiter was shocked by the question that was suddenly addressed to him. He rubbed the back of his head in doubt. "This is the first, miss. This place is really nice."

"Don't call miss. Just alia. The call tickled me," said Alia. He shuddered himself with the call. For him it is very disturbing and damaging to hearing. Especially besides Daniel, in this house all call by that name.

"Miss, how could it be? We still have to"

"Alia, please," Alia suddenly stopped. He held his stomach and mouth together, making a pose as if he was about to vomit.

"Aah! Miss, uh, Al-Alia. Are you okay?" The servant was shocked to death.

Alia turned around and smiled widely, acting as if nothing had happened. "Well, like that better."

The waiter was misbehaved. Realizing that, Alia patted him gently on the shoulder. "Thank you, yeah. Tell the others to call me that, too."

The waiter spoke no words. He just stared at Alia with teary eyes. Not many cared about his status as a servant here. Despite getting good treatment, he was still not used to the cold attitude of most of the residents in this house. So Alia's smile and friendly demeanor were very heartwarming to her. Moreover, he knew what Alia's status was here as.

"Eh? You cried? W-did I say something wrong? Sorry, I didn't mean to..." Alia went into a panic.

The waiter shook his head while rubbing his eyes. "No, it's nothing. I was just moved and pleased with the kindness of No-I mean Alia. I hope my children can imitate this kindness in the future."

Alia was struck by lightning. He felt that this servant was younger than himself, but what did he hear earlier? The kid?

"Eh? How old are you?"

"Twenty-four" answered the servant.

"Have a child?" Alia was still amazed.

"Yes. One is two years old. The other was four years old. Both are women."

Alia immediately huffed. He felt he had to feel more sorry for himself. Until his age, he had never even dated. Alia's change of face made the servant worried. But Alia immediately calmed him down, asking him to continue bringing it to the intended library.

Alia's goal is the library. As Daniel said, Alia wanted to see someone. The little girl named Carla had already attracted her curiosity. Alia asked to be escorted until she could see the library door so that the waiter could return to his job.

Alia pushed open the library door, entering carefully. Alia's eyes widened, watching the wide white room that was split into two floors. The right and left sides were already filled with white shelves filled with books. Alia looked up, staring at the other full shelf ranks on the second floor. Amazed by the collection of books.

"Daniel loves books, but I never thought he would do this much for his library" Alia murmured.

A matching colored wooden staircase rests on one of the shelves. Alia kept moving. The concept of the library is centered on the narrowed end of the room. There is a table and a long chair there. Also the man he was looking for.

Alia walked over, smiling amusedly as she saw the girl lying behind her on the table with one book in hand.

"Your head can hurt if you sleep like that" Alia suggested.

For Carla, it was like a bomb explosion in broad daylight. He was shocked half-dead and immediately rolled down, landing perfectly and brandishing objects towards Alia. "Damn it, what are you doing!"

Alia was already jolted as Carla rolled over, but she was even more shocked by the thing that was currently in the girl's hands. Alia raised her hand like a criminal being held by the police.

"Can you put that thing down? It's dangerous to play around with guns, Carla."

Carla kept brandishing the gun in her hand, frowning in dislike. "Don't say my name as you like."

Alia sighed softly, then lowered both of her hands. "Good, fine. I'm going to back off now."

"Get out. No need to go in anymore" said Carla. He made sure Alia kept walking backwards and took a step away from the place.

Carla rolled her eyeballs, lowered her gun and returned to pick up the book she had dropped. He sat down in a long chair and thought back to what happened. Carla felt quite confident with her vigilance and instincts. But he could not even realize Alia's whereabouts until the woman made a sound.

"What's the reason I'm so engrossed in my book?" guess Carla, paying attention again to the book in her hand. "I need to train my vigilance more."

Carla now sat facing directly to the library door in order to pay attention to the surroundings. "Ah, she must have been scared to the point of not daring to come here again. Yep... Anyone would feel that way if they put a gun like that. Everything will respond the same."

The thick book in Carla's hands doesn't feel good anymore. He sighed, feeling annoyed that Alia had already ruined his pleasure by suddenly coming here. Carla turned her head, staring blankly at the bookshelves. Long enough to spend time daydreaming.

For a book lover like him, this place is heaven. But if he pays more attention, especially to the number of books here, then he is more aware of the word he avoids the most.

Carla shook her head strongly, dismissing that assumption. He moved from his seat, intending to put his book again and looking for a lighter theme. As he was looking around for the book, someone was already present again at the place without causing a commotion.

"I brought you breakfast."

Carla screams restrained. He flipped his body quickly and stared horror at the new Alia putting the tray onto the table.

"Daniel says you like strawberry jam toast. I guess that's the reason there's only this flavored jam and strawberries in the freezer. You haven't had a chance to eat, have you?"

Carla was still flabbergasted, but soon gained control. "I told you not to come back."

"Unfortunately you're talking to me. I don't like being ruled by people younger than me. The experience fed me up," Alia replied. Remembering Daniel automatically. "I didn't put anything in it, if you're worried about it. After this, I want to see some books."

Alia walked away after that. He found a ladder in the corner of the room and went straight to the second floor, where several bookshelves were perched.

There was nothing Carla could do when she saw Alia casually climbing the stairs. He finally just stared at a plate of toast with some strawberries next to him and a glass of white milk. New Carla will be determined not to want to eat it when her stomach suddenly rings out loud.

"No matter, ah," said Carla in the end, picking up the toast that looked so tempting. At first he only wanted to eat a little, but Alia who never went down made Carla could not help but devour everything. Including finishing that glass of milk.

"Now help me choose it." Alia went down a while later with a stack of books. He immediately put the books on the table near Carla. "You must be more experienced with these books, so please pick one for me."

Carla frowned, feeling that Alia was troublesome. But seeing Alia's enthusiastic smile made her comment a little as Alia read out the synopsis of the books she brought.

"That's got a pretty heavy story plot, your brain might not make it."

"That's a boring cliche story, it might suit you."

"It's a loser who changes because of a woman. Cih, that story doesn't make sense."

Alia scratched her head, finally choosing one book that felt not so bad got Carla's comment.

"You're even reading a novel. How can you be smarter?"

Alia's ears are warming. "Unfortunately, my brain is only able to follow the plot of the novel. I'm not a hobby of learning, by the way."

Carla smiled condescendingly, glancing at the titles of the novels that Alia brought.

"Is this all Daniel's collection?" ask Alia.

"I helped in choosing a book as well as giving ideas in the interior of this room." Although spoken lightly, pride is still heard in Carla's sentences.

"That's cool," praised Alia with sparkling eyes.

Carla heard the compliment quite often, but the compliment from Alia was a little different. The woman looked innocent and sincere in saying it, making Carla feel a little happy.

"I thought you were a different girl. You're more mature than most of the other kids."

Carla should also be proud of that compliment. But Alia's honest remarks made her even more upset than she had been. He doesn't like to be called that.

"But still. You're still a kid no matter how you behave, hahaha." Alia is unaware of Carla's distorted expression and continues to state what she really thinks.

Something Carla feels different about.

"Oh, one more thing. You don't seem to like me? Do you have a reason?" ask Alia. Now he was quite curious about the answer that Carla would give.

"Thank God you realized it? Wh why? You don't like being treated like that?"

"Everyone has the right to like or hate someone. I'm not gonna dispute that. Just curious as to the reason that made you dislike me," Alia replied calmly, not provoked by Carla's remark.

"Because we're rivals."

Alia frowned. "Rivals? Rival of what?"

Just then Carla suddenly stood up and became even more serious. "Listen to this carefully. I like Brother Daniel. So if you dare to get close to him, then we're rivals."

For the sake of hearing that, Alia fell silent then laughed out loud. "Gosh, I never thought I'd hear that from the mouth of a sweet girl like you. Watch this, Carla. Daniel and I are brothers. How will you be jealous of your future sister-in-law?"

Carla did not respond to anything, instead just staring at Alia who was still curled up.
