The inauguration of the WR Coffee branch was led by Wilda directly. The main event is held once the guest is complete. After cutting the ribbon, the event continued with a banquet. Alia gets a special place along with Carla and Daniel. Risa and Bram are at another special table.
"You look pale. What's up?" Carla noticed Alia who was a little more reserved than before they entered this place.
Alia was staring blankly at the stage where soft music was playing. He blinked a few times before looking at Carla. "none. Um... Do you like the cake?"
Carla did not seem to believe the answer. But he nodded to Alia's question. "It's good."
Alia was not focused on her surroundings. Many wild thoughts were dancing in his head.
About cardboard boxes.
Until the one related to the message of his mother first.
If it was true that the cardboard box was sent by Bram, or at least the man had some connection to this, then Alia could not stop thinking about it. Bram was the one who was told by Rinda to be the one who delivered him regularly every day after work. However, on the one hand, he also knows that Bram himself is not an ordinary person. Of course he thought that Rinda must be someone close to Bram to be able to tell him like that.
Alia concluded that the cardboard box was also related to Rinda. Wasn't that woman also the one who recommended him to work at WR Coffee earlier? It is not impossible if everything is related, especially because Wilda once said that Rinda has a connection to get a lot of information.
Alia goosebumps thinking that she had been observed all this time. Moreover, he also knew that this month, there were no cardboard boxes that came there. As if whoever sent it knew full well that he no longer lived there.
"It's just the calm before the storm, my dear, Al. You should know there's a lot of dangerous stuff out there. For us, it's invisible. But for Daniel, it's real and it's really going to happen. Protect her. Protect your sister well, baby?"
Alia remembered the message she had almost forgotten. True, all this time he had underestimated the message from his mother. If Rinda had the power to hide this, then it is not impossible that the same great thing would not have happened to Daniel as his mother had said.
He had to talk to Rinda. But it can't right now. Rinda did not come to this inauguration although he was also the board of WR Coffee with Wilda.
"Think of what until frowning like this?"
Alia regained her senses as Daniel's hand touched her soft forehead. Suddenly Alia turned her body back. His heart is racing. It is unclear between the shock or the reason for Daniel's touch. It could be because of both.
"I-I have to go to the toilet." Alia stood up and left immediately.
Daniel keeps an eye on Alia until she disappears from his sight.
"Wouldn't follow him?" Carla asked as she poked the cake with a fork. He smiled a little.
"Do you actually support him or support me?" Daniel crossed his arms.
"He is" Carla answered briefly. "But I would rather agree that Alia has surrendered. You're gonna be a good controversial couple."
Daniel sighed, then shook his head. He stood up and walked away from the table, leaving Carla alone. It didn't matter to the girl either because she told Daniel to leave.
"I'm sitting here for a second, yeah."
Carla looks. He just thought he could get a chance to eat quietly before Risa approached him. Carla gave a look of dislike.
"If there's no interest you can go" said Carla.
Risa chuckled, finding this girl in front of her attractive. "I have interests with you of course."
Carla who for a moment did not want to pierce it so raised her head. The corner of his lips lifted. "Why ask like that?"
"Sister Alia always avoids contact with her sister," Risa replied still with a smile.
Carla looked at Risa flatly. He put his cutlery. Carla initially thinks of Risa as an ordinary girl who is close to Alia, but it doesn't seem that simple. Risa is clearly a keen and intelligent observer.
"If it's true, what do you want?"
Risa stared, then laughed loudly. Some guests stared at their tables. "Ahahaha, you're so cool. How old are you?"
"Is that important?"
"Not really." Risa touched her chin, closing the laughter. "But now I'm sure I can talk to you about this. It seems that despite your young age, you understand and know things. Oh, I love the color of your hair, too, unlike the wigs you wore back then. It doesn't really fit your pale white skin."
Carla looks lazy against Risa. He seems to be trying to touch her. Even so he was quite curious how the girl seemed to have this sharpness.
"I thought Kak Al was liked by his own sister. Likes here means really in the sense of male and female romance. From the way he looked at Kak Al, it was very clear. But calm down, only I can think of such an extreme. The others will not be aware," Risa said in a quiet voice.
"Are you trying to take advantage of your guess?" carla Response.
Risa's shaking her shoulders. "I'm not a person who would interfere in people's affairs if it wasn't for profit. But specifically Kak Al, different again. I like Brother Al."
"To be more precise, dear. Yeah like that. I'm perfectly normal by the way. One of my favorites was to look around at the exotic handsome man younger than me" Risa's correction after seeing Carla's expression change.
The frown on Carla's forehead only grew more and more to hear the useless notification at the end of Risa's sentence.
"I just don't like to see Kak Al look so uncomfortable." Risa scratched her head clumsily. "It's a little weird, you know? I am not someone who likes to think about others. But now I'm disturbed to see Kak Al look so hard."
Carla did not comment. Risa's words reminded her of the warm feeling when Alia had grabbed her earlier before they came in. It's strange.
"I've been trying my whole life. Did you see that guy over there? Bramasta Wibisana's. My foster-father. I wouldn't be able to get this chance if my abilities were ordinary. My father initially adopted me to utilize the analytical and observational skills I had. All about each other's benefits." Risa started to tell a smooth story as if this was a story she had told many times.
"Although so, I am grateful. My dad's been a lot warmer the last few years. Instead of tools, now it feels like I'm really becoming her son" Risa continued. He looked around, watching Bram watching Wilda. "Well, I wish I could get an equally good foster mom later."
Carla listened well. Their initial fate was more or less the same, if Risa was not making up.
"Well... Now, can you tell me the full story between them? Maybe with that, I could consider agreeing to their relationship or not." Risa propped up her chin while looking at Carla enthusiastically.
Carla sighed and shook her head. "It's nothing in my favor. I don't trust you either."
"Well, it's not easy." Risa slapped her face on the table. He thought that by opening herself first, Carla would be more easily persuaded. In fact, with the story that he often repeated it, Carla remained unmoved. "Ugh, come on, let's exchange information. I have something interesting about Alia and her sister. Well, then you don't wonder why I support their relationship either."
Carla became more serious. A slanted smile expanded slowly as soon as he finished thinking fast. "I'll consider the value of your information first."
Risa nodded. She knows that Carla is a very smart little girl. It was no big deal for him to put up the cards first.
