Alia's Regret

Alia began to regret her decision. He should have let Kevin drive home. Despite being stuck like this, there was at least a chance of them successfully escaping. He himself was unsure of being able to get past these few men in front of him.

Alia's regret piled back up. This situation would never have happened if he had chosen the normal path to his home. Didn't he promise this to Daniel? That he'll never get through this alley again.

Unlike five years ago, Alia felt her fighting spirit was not restless and ran aground completely. He was already quite exhausted with the job, plus he had no chance to break through.

"Daniel," he said.

The one thing that bothered him the most was the young man. His sister at this time could not possibly know of the situation that had re-occurred to him. Alia could not hope to be saved by Daniel again. It was too impossible, and Alia did not want to fantasize about something that made her happy to then drop it so hard.

"You're trying to call your savior, huh?" cynical someone behind Alia who was followed by the laughter of some men. They must have heard Alia's mutterings. "You can try shouting. That's not gonna be useful."

"Boss! If he yells, the police around can come again, "someone said.

The man called the boss widened his panicked eyes and immediately stepped forward quickly. He grabbed one of Alia's hands and tried to silence the woman's mouth with one more.

Alia moved without thinking. The man's touch felt so disgusting that instead of his body trembling in fear, he felt very upset. Alia twisted her body, an unexpected movement by the man who was the boss of the group of thugs. The man was not ready so he could only see Alia's two fingers still freely darting into his eyes.

"Akhs! Fucking woman! How dare!" her groan while holding her eyes which Alia stabbed using her fingers.

Alia ignored the swearing and took advantage of the shock of the other thugs to create a gap of escape.

"You fucking guys. I wanted to give up, but you guys suddenly touched me. Nasty," his scolding as he managed to dart away. "I didn't even get to regret myself for much longer."

Alia was too tired to think she would manage to escape in this way. But his spirit was ignited by the irritation caused by the thug boss. The thugs originally thought Alia was just a weak woman. Especially when he had shown a resigned expression. Therefore the remaining thugs became shocked by Alia's sudden movements.

Alia's small body could make her quite agile, but she remained insecure as the thugs who had already recovered from her shock, began to catch up.

"Tolooong!" shout Alia. He had previously refrained from resuscitating the thugs, but seeing them start to chase made Alia feel no need to delay the screams.

A man who could run faster had already caught up with Alia. With one move, he caught Alia's hand and threw it aside, on a large high wall in front of the courtyard of an empty factory.

Alia was too shocked and hit the wall without even having time to protect herself. He fell down and grabbed his forehead. Fresh blood flowed from that tear wound on his forehead. Alia grimaced as she rubbed the bit of blood that blocked her eyebrows.

"If not, you will not be deterred and continue to fight. If you calm down a bit, we might be able to soften up and give you a satisfying night." The man chuckled and started to approach Alia.

Alia was goosebumps with disgust, especially when the man had already crouched down in front of her and tried to grab Alia's face.

The man obviously did not expect Alia to still have the energy to throw sand at her face. Alia shuffled away and tried to run back.

However, his eyes bulged when he noticed his throbbing wounds and his head being hit by a great dizziness. Alia can't run. Walking he staggered. His eyes could not see clearly at the man who started to surround him again. His right eye began to sting because the blood was not able to be accommodated by his thick eyebrows.

Alia's energy is completely exhausted. Even to feel anything. He did not fight back when the thug boss came in with anger and clasped his hands and neck tightly.

Alia has trouble breathing. He is unable to fight. Slowly her tears fell. Not because he was afraid of what happened next, or because of the feelings of despair that should have been raining down on him.

A dangerous moment like this, Alia actually remembered someone. He regretted not seeing her again. He was sad because if news of him after this spread, there would be no good response from this young man he thought of.

Consciousness began to leave Alia. When he felt he could die from lack of oxygen, the giggling around his neck loosened completely.

"Hey! Quickly clean him up. You!" the thug boss shouted in panic.

Alia fell down. The oxygen around was like the most precious treasure Alia tried to take in as much. He coughed and tried to open his left eye. In the blur, he saw a commotion he did not understand. Including when a little girl stepped towards him and looked at him from above.

Let alone to look up, Moving his hands alone was already very difficult. Alia started to lose the noise around her. His headache was getting worse and the best option for him was to close his eyes and let the darkness take over quickly.

"Damn it, my words were not even heard. Yes, that's it." The last girl called Alia relaxed her shoulders and sat down near Alia's head, watching the thugs in front of her fall one by one through her bright blue eyes.

"How exactly does the police work? Could they have missed these bad guys?" A man standing among the pile of thugs fixed his glasses.

"Riki, you're too much of a comment for someone who just dropped three little thugs" snorted his friend who stepped closer. His red hair and golden-yellow eyes were conspicuous under the moonlight as he removed his jacket hood. His fingers pointed backwards, at a man who was staring flatly from a more distant location. "Me and Dichey are up against six people each."

Dichey, the man in question only nodded lightly. Seen to follow the conversation, but he did not understand at all.

"Despite that, you're still more useful than Carla just sitting there." The red-haired man glanced at the little girl next to Alia.

"Whisper, Aslan. If there was no prohibition to kill them, I would have shot them in the head one by one" decak the girl called Carla.

Aslan, the red-haired man shrugged. "If I may kill also I alone can face this cry."

The bespectacled man, Riki, shook his head slowly and stepped closer to Alia. He rattles when Carla again does not do what she does.

"I told you, right? Take care of this lady properly." Riki improved Alia's body position and propped her up. He carefully cleaned the dust that was sticking and stopped the bleeding on Alia's forehead.

"I've been looking after him. He's okay," elak Carla, throwing her face away.

Riki looked at Carla sharply. "You're aware, right? If I report your negligence, he could get mad at you. This lady, her precious 'person."

Carla doesn't seem to care, but she's actually quite wary. Her platinum blonde hair swung softly as she looked back at Riki. "Don't report it then."

"You have to report it, Riki. Otherwise, he could be even more irresponsible" demanded Aslan who had been listening since. He and Dichey were approaching.

Carla glared in disbelief, she was about to deny it again but felt someone walking from behind. The three men nearby had already realized it first.

A young man emerged from the darkness. The hat he was wearing suppressed the cold anger emanating from his dark blue eyes. There was no sound until the young man approached Riki.

Without many words, he took over Alia's body and lifted her without any weight, as if all he carried was empty space. Nothing stopped the young man. They just stood and waited.

The dark blue eyes of the young man scoured Alia's tired face, focusing on the wound on the woman's forehead. He clucked softly with an expression that showed dislike. Slowly he lifted his head and walked slowly past the four people.

"Let's go back to Central City."
