Chapters 13. Toni's cruelty

Niki's chest went up and down because of the intense anger. Shortly after, there was a gunshot. The whole room was silent. All the members of the Leopard Gang were wide-eyed at what was happening before their eyes.

A bullet hit Choky's head, leaving a hole in his right temple. It didn't get there. The bullet is fired by Toni until it penetrates Choky's left temple.

Choky was lying on the floor. A thick, crimson liquid began to flood the marble floor of the luxurious building. The rancid scent of blood filled the room, making anyone who kissed it would definitely feel nauseous.

No exception to the core members of the Cantul Gang. They desperately held on to the turbulent stomach for fear of offending Toni. If the leader is offended, then their history is finished.

Even though they were notorious gangsters in the Metropolitan City, their crimes were limited to theft, robbery, extortion, and so on. Even if their members never commit murder in a sadistic way like Toni.

The murder of Miki was the first murder the gang had committed. It was not even the core members who did it. Borrowing hands from other members.

"It's very noisy" said Toni and then blew the tip of the gun.

"I'd hate to see a fight in front of me! You guys look like moms fighting over discount stuff! It sounds so noisy!" The burly man put the gun back in his pocket.

Toni walked towards the large door that connected the dining room with the headquarters hall. When he reached for the door, the man stopped. He turned his head to the side, then glanced at all the core members of the gang he was leading.

"Remove the body and the rest of this mess. And for you, Niki!"

Niki swallowed saliva when her name was called. The man squeezed the black formal pants that wrapped his lower body. Her lips trembled as she answered Toni's call.

"You can only get out of the Leopard Gang, when the angel of death knocks on your door! Catch that!"

Unknowingly all the members in the room gulped roughly. Even some of them held their breaths, until finally the body of the chairman disappeared behind the door.

After Toni was no longer in the room, they exhaled to release the carbon dioxide that had been detained. Some of them immediately wrapped Choky's body using curtains, and others cleaned the blood that soaked the dining room floor.

"Your assault case cannot continue" Arjun said with a regretful face.

He feels like he failed in his first mission to help Makutha. However, circumstances forced him to make this decision. The case against Makutha was forced to close due to lack of evidence and eyewitnesses.

"We lack evidence and even lose witnesses and suspects." Arjun's tone still sounded calm.

However, Makutha could not stem her emotions. He stood up and squeezed his hair in frustration. The man shouted loudly, until his neck veins looked tense.

"It's clear they attacked me shortly before Ferdy's theft trial took place, sir! The Leopard Gang is definitely involved! Let's ask them for their information, one by one!" shouting Makutha.

"Makutha, have you forgotten? There won't be a thief who wants me! We need hard evidence to ask for their testimony!" arjun yelled as he kicked the table.

Arjun's words made Makutha pause for a moment. He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. Arjun is right. They could not interrogate the Leopard Gang due to the lack of evidence.

Makutha nodded, then said, "I'll go! I don't think I need your help anymore, sir! I'll handle everything alone!"

Makutha exited the room, then slammed the door rudely. The man went straight to the parking lot and drove the car back to the apartment.

After driving the car for 20 minutes, Makutha has reached her apartment. However, just as he was about to open the door, the man found something strange. The apartment door was slightly open.

Makutha immediately pulled out her gun, and slowly walked into the apartment. The atmosphere inside was dark, there was no illumination at all. When it was almost to the kitchen, suddenly the man's feet hummed something.

"Ouch!" peeker Makutha when her sturdy body collides with the floor.

The man slowly got up, reached into his pocket, then turned on the flash light from his phone. Instantly he was wide-eyed to find out what had knocked him down on the floor.
