Chapters 37. Punishment for Ferdi

Hans stared intently at Maudy. His fingers clenched tightly, and the man's jaw began to harden. A whisper made him smile cunningly.

"Recording something without permission, can be entangled by the ITE Law." Arjun who was sitting behind Hans leaned his body towards the handsome doctor.

Hans looked back. Arjun nods to convince the doctor to refute Maudy's words during the trial.

"Thank you for your help, sir."

Hans got up from the chair and stood up straight looking at Makutha sitting behind his desk. A grin was clearly engraved on the lips of the handsome man.

"This violates the ITE Act, Your Honor!"

"You mean?"

"Maudy recorded the conversation without my permission, Your Honor."

Makutha nodded a few times, then stared intently at Maudy. "Is that right, Sister Maudy?"

"Please, Your Majesty's permission. Actually I was asked by Mr. Farhan as an investigator to do a recording of the sound as evidence."

Cold sweat poured out behind the canal that Maudy was wearing. His fingers were squeezing each other. The lips of the woman trembled with nervousness and fear mixed into one.

Maudy can't back down anymore. He's one of the key witnesses who will open the Tito murder case. His resolve is round. The woman's conscience is tapped to reveal all the truths she knows.

"Have you heard the answer, honorable Doctor Hans?"

Makutha swept a glance towards everyone present in the courtroom. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Based on the ITE Law Article 31 paragraph Law No. 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions, eavesdropping with the purpose of breaking the law can indeed be punished." Makutha smiled faintly then stared intently at Hans.

"However, in this case it is certainly different. Maudy did it to enforce the law. Help the police uncover the truth behind Tito's assault and death that feels awkward." Makutha smiled triumphantly. A second later the man's face again looked serious.

"Ah, I forgot. You also falsified the autopsy data on Tito's body! You said that he died from the impact of bleeding trauma. But the truth is, he died because you had injected vecuronium bromide and potassium chloride into his body."

Hans's voice was stuck in his throat. The man lost a lot. Two police officers approached Hans with arrest warrants. The man was dragged out of the courtroom.

"Decision number ... for the sake of justice based on the Godhead of the Supreme Being. The Metropolitan Municipality District Court, has sentenced the defendant Ferdi Sanjaya .. imprisonment of 20 years 8 months, less the period of detention during the investigation ...."

A sense of relief burst into Maudy's chest. Moreover, for a while she was only used as a witness in the case of her own husband's murder. At least he can reveal the truth about Tito's murder. That made Maudy's guilt less.

"Dy, let's go in!" hasna shouted as she stopped her car in front of the dreamy Maudy in front of the District Court building.

Maidy smiled faintly and then approached Hasna's car. The woman grabbed the doorknob and entered the four-wheeled vehicle.

"How are you feeling? Are you all right?" ask Hasna worried.

Maudy's eyes felt so hot. Her tears wanted to come out of the nest. The beautiful woman squeezed the negligee wrapped around the body.
