Chapters 17. Threats
Police lines were installed around the site of the discovery of the mobile phone as well as a pool of blood that Makutha found. Strong allegations refer to acts of persecution. The blood has been taken partly for samples, to be matched with Praba's DNA.
"Our team is tracking his trail. I hope the culprit gets caught soon."
"Please help, Mr. Farhan!"
"Well, in the future you will be called as a witness."
"Yes, I'm ready for that."
Makutha and Farhan shook hands and the handsome judge said goodbye. It feels like Makutha still doesn't believe it. Just a few hours ago he and Praba had a conversation. However, why did this unfortunate incident happen to Praba unexpectedly?
Makutha gave a rough breath. He got in the car and drove him to the apartment. Arriving at the apartment, he was struck by a black box placed in front of the door.
Makutha brought the box in, and opened it. It turns out that the box contains a piece of Praba's head. The smell of blood again made him nauseous. Makutha immediately ran towards the bathroom and vomited out her entrails. The man limp helplessly leaned against the bathup.
"Damn! I'm so weak I'm a man!" Makutha smiled wryly then closed her eyes with her left arm.
After her stomach stopped churning, Makutha grabbed the phone in her pants pocket and contacted Arjun. He asked the middle-aged man to come to his apartment. While waiting for the policeman to arrive, he continued to be in the room.
Shortly thereafter, the bell sounded. Makutha got out of the room and opened the door of her apartment. Arjun was already standing in front of the apartment with a panicked face.
"What's wrong?" asked Arjun while frowning an eyebrow.
"Come, Sir!" Makutha pulls Arjun's arm and invites him closer to the box he had just got.
"To-please open that box," Makutha said as she pointed at the box in the living room.
Arjun slowly approached the black box and opened the lid slowly. He knew the contents of the box. In addition there is a piece of Praba's head, there is also a piece of paper. The paper looked a little shabby, as it was exposed to blood spots.
"There's a letter" Arjun said as he showed the paper to Makutha.
"Please read the contents, sir. I can't stand the smell of blood."
"I know you're planning revenge on the Leopard Gang. Stay away! This woman is Hasna's best friend, right? If you are reckless, we will not hesitate to finish off those around you!"
"Damn!" swear Makutha while punching the wall beside her.
"How is this, Tha?"
"I'm sure this is just a bluff!" makutha exclaimed while narrowing her eyes.
"Makuta! You certain? Here is not only about your ambitions under the guise of justice! There are many lives threatened! Think logically!"
"Ambisi under the guise of justice? What do you mean, Sir!" Makutha's jaw hardens until her neck veins are clearly visible.
"I think calling Mr. Arjun here could have the support of you. Turns out I was wrong! Then please go, sir. Bring this box as proof!" Makutha pointed at the box in front of her then threw away her face.
Arjun let out a rough breath and took the box away. Makutha shuffled hair in frustration. He lost support again. It was only the Chief of the District Court who could help him.
However, to be honest he really does not like the attitude of Adli who always utilizes his ambitions for the personal interests of the man. Every time there is a problem, Adli always brings up that the case that is delegated to Makutha depends on him. Makutha is fed up with everything.
"Do I have to be a villain like them?" makutha gumam.
Suddenly an idea flashed through Makutha's mind. He decided to go to a psychiatrist to address his hemophobia problem. Makutha immediately contacted the hospital and scheduled a meeting with their best psychiatrist.
"After this, I will do another way for you who are completely untouched by the law! If this Praba case passes, you'll be at risk!" Makutha squinted her eyes while tightening her jaw.
