Chapter 67. Fitting Day

Three pairs of mannequins are lined up in the Bintang boutique VVIP room. The three wedding dresses looked so elegant and beautiful. All have sweet pastel colors. However, the impression of luxury is also seen in the dress because of the sparkle of swarovski crystals that adorn the wedding dress.

"Tante, w-why isn't this an exaggeration?" Hasna closed her lips using her palm in amazement at what she was currently seeing.

"No! Na, you've already considered Auntie like her own daughter. Consider it a wedding gift for you. You can choose whichever dress you like." The star smiled widely while gently rubbing Hasna's cheeks.

"Come, now try one-on-one!" The star gently pulled Hasna's arm and asked her assistant to help Hasna try on the outfit.

When Hasna disappeared behind the fitting room door, Tiara elbowed Makutha's arm. Tiara smiled mischievously as the elder sister turned her head towards him.

"What?"

"Sir Utha, try it first!" tell Tiara while slightly raising her head.

"I'm so easy, Ra. I'm handsome so any wear would fit. Only you later, like which one."

"God! Narcissist once you!" Tiara patted the forehead then shook her head.

Suddenly a call came into Makutha's phone. He frowned, as the call came from the Chief of the District Court where he worked. Makutha moved away from Tiara, then answered the call.

"Hello, sir."

"Tha, can you come to the office now? I have something to talk about."

"Is this really important, sir?"

"Yes, come here quickly."

"Good."

The phone call ended. Soon a message from Adli came in. Makutha smiled faintly, then went back to Tiara and told her that she should go to court immediately.

"Wait a minute Hasna's done, Mom?"

"No, if you let me come back here again. But if you can't get home fast, you can take a taxi?"

"Yes already. Careful, Mom!"

"Pamitin also to Hasna."

Makutha got out of the boutique and drove her car to court. Once there, he went straight to Adli. By the time Makutha entered the courtroom, the President was already sitting quietly in the room.

"How are you doing, Judge Makutha?" Roby smiled and got up from the sofa.

Makutha. It was so bad to see Roby with all that arrogance. Makutha threw away her face to avoid Roby's gaze.

"It's not polite. I'm talking to you." Now Roby's voice sounded so cold and piercing.

Makutha is still in place. Roby clamped the man's jaw with his thumb and index finger. Their eyes also clashed. Makutha did not want to hide her hatred in the slightest.

The handsome judge stared at Roby. His jaw is perfectly hardened. Looks her neck veins are getting stiff and prominent.

"Why? Wanna mad? Of course you can't!"

"How can you be here, sir? Shouldn't you be at the police station by now?"

Roby laughed out loud. He removed the grip of his hand from Makutha's jaw, and continued laughing until the man's stomach was almost cramped.

"I am the Father of the State! If I'm detained, what about the world view of this country!" roby was among his laughter.

"What did you say?" Roby lands a blow to Makutha's stomach.

Makutha grimaced with pain. He let out a bit of water from his mouth, because of the blow. Adli. He approaches Roby and tries to calm the man down.

"Sir, relax. Please don't make a scene here."

"He has insulted me and this country! I don't accept it!" roby shouted with emotion as he pointed at Makutha's face.

"I'm not insulting, sir. I'm just telling you what really happened to our beloved country. How dilapidated the leaders and representatives of the people. Corrupt law enforcement officers. Injustice for the poor, oppression, threats everywhere! Do I need to mention everything?" makutha shouted full of emotion.

"Fuckers!" Roby runs towards Makutha then gets the man cornered.

Roby rained down Makutha with a punch, until the man fell on the floor with a battered face. His whole body was so painful that it was difficult to move.

"Stop, Sir!" exclaim Arjun.

From the direction of the door, Arjun and several police officers entered the room and separated Roby and Makutha. Roby keeps on fighting. The room looks so messed up.

"I'm sorry, sir, we're forced to hold you back at the police station because you're not complying with parole requirements." Arjun asks his men to handcuff Roby's wrists.

Roby was taken back to the police station and detained there for a while. As soon as Roby is taken away, Arjun approaches Makutha and helps her get up from the floor.

"Tha, aren't you pa-pa?" ask Arjun to panic.

"Do you think my dad is okay?" makutha asked with a slanted smile.

"I'm sorry, I came late because there were some meetings with the top police officers."

"Slowly enough I could die, sir."

"Thank you, Sir. It's been helping today." Arjun patted Adli's shoulder.

"Together, Sir. I'm tired of his leadership. Mr. Roby used his current standing for personal gain. I'm almost one of the people he'll take advantage of."

Adli bowed lethargic. He also expressed regret to Makutha, for having urged one of the clean judges to cheat in court. Makutha approached Adli, then extended a hand.

"Sir, thank you. Today you told me that Mr. Roby came here to threaten me." Makutha smiled faintly at her superior.

"Ah, why is Mr. Roby released, sir?" makutha asked who now turned to Arjun.

"For many reasons. But, after this I will make sure that he can no longer go anywhere."

A phone call made their conversation pause. Makutha's phone screen flickered, showing a row of letters stringing her sister's name. Makutha frowned, then shifted the green button upwards.

"What's up, Ra?" makutha asked in astonishment.

"Mbak Hasna, Mum! Ma'am Hasna!" Tiara spoke as she continued to sob.

"Hasna why, Ara? You're talking real dong!" Makutha began to panic and was upset because of Tiara who spoke while crying.

Slowly Tiara began to recount the terrible events that had befallen Hasna. Makutha. He bids Adli and Arjun immediately after turning off the phone.

"That! Let me company!" Arjun ran over to Makutha who was already standing next to the car.

The man took over the car keys and asked Makutha to sit quietly in the passenger seat. The black sports car immediately drove across the streets of the Capital City. Makutha wishes everything was fine.
