The Dark Side of a Judge

The Dark Side of a Judge
Chapter 3. Tails

"Who dares to sue me!"

The ambulance driver turned towards the source of the sound coming from the passenger seat. Instantly he was wide-eyed after realizing who was sitting quietly there. The young man who had an oriental face and was wearing a neat suit looked at him cynically while folding his arms in front of his chest.

"P-Pak Mayor!"

It turned out that the car belonged to Liam. The Mayor of the Metropolitan City. Who does not know the super arrogant man and always want to win alone it. He served as Mayor of Jakarta for one year.

The citizens always silenced and did not dare to bring up his bad attitude because of one thing. His achievements in organizing the city and administration are so good. Many poor people feel helped by the government program that he runs.

"Here you go, drive your car again!"

"But you haven't apologized, sir!" the ambulance driver was nervous.

"Do you want to complicate your situation? I've been this way! Please take your path! You could die later!" liam exclaimed with a slanted smile.

The ambulance driver lowered his ego. He could only clench firmly while clenching his teeth. The man half-bent and then returned to the ambulance and drove straight to his car.

Shortly thereafter, Makutha arrived at the Hospital. Hasna who got the news that Makutha suffered an attack also discouraged the intention to go home. He monitors Makutha's condition from outside the IGD.

The girl paced back and forth while biting her fingernails. After waiting for almost an hour finally one of the fellow doctors who handled Makutha came out.

"Hans, how?" ask Hasna to panic.

"No pa-pa. The wound is not too deep. He fainted from trauma. Not because of the injury."

"Yes." Yeah."

Hasna remained silent. He knew very well the reason why Makutha fainted. Yes, the man would instantly faint so seeing a lot of blood. The trauma has been going on since Abercio died.

Hasna immediately stepped into the IGD room. Makutha was still lying unconscious. His stomach was covered with bandages. Hasna shed tears at Makutha's condition.

"Basic stupid! How did you get hurt?"

Hasna smiled wryly then wiped away the tears. Shortly afterwards Praba came in and gently patted Hasna on the shoulder.

"Patience, Na. He'll recover soon. The job demands are so. There is always a risk we have to take! I think this has something to do with the trial he's about to handle."

Hasna frowned. "Today's trial is just a small case."

"What case is it?"

"Theft," Hasna answered briefly.

"Na, we never know what the theft funds will be used for."

Hasna's pupils are perfectly rounded. He flicked his fingers while nodding steadily.

"You're right, too, Ba! I didn't think about it until there!"

Praba let out a rough breath. He patted Hasna on the shoulder twice and then said goodbye. "All right, I'm back at work first. Greetings to Makutha when she is conscious. If you need anything related to treatment Makutha just say."

Praba nodded then walked out of the IGD room. After the girl's body was no longer visible to Hasna, the beautiful doctor immediately approached Makutha. He grabbed the burly fingers of the man who was now close to him.

"Basic stupid! Could've hurt!"

Hasna's vision began to blur. Soon after, the clear fur rolled back down his cheeks. A gentle touch on Hasna's back made her immediately wipe away the tears. Hasna. Now the mother was standing behind him with teary eyes.

"Mother, when is it coming? By yourself?" Hasna wiped the tears a second time.

"just now. I got on the first plane right away after I got this bad news. I didn't expect my hunch to come true!" The crying pendant.

Hasna grabbed the mother's body and then rubbed her back slowly. Instantly the sadness felt by the Pendant returned to Hasna. The girl stared at the ceiling hoping that her tears would come out.

"Ac ...."

There was the voice of Makutha who was now moaning while grimacing with pain. Hasna let go of her embrace from the mother, then approached the man. She helps Makutha lean on a pile of pillows.

"Slowly."

"Bystang .... How's my side?" makutha asked in a raucous voice and sounded weak.

"Don't think about it first, the important thing now is that you recover. This case will be tried by another judge."

"I've started holding their tails. But why is there a barrier. Shit!" makutha grumbled while hitting the mattress underneath.

"Forget it, Tha."

"Where can you, Na! I will chase them all to the end of hell even once!"

Hasna looked into Makutha's eyes, which were now burning. The hadith was not inexhaustible with the thought of the man before him. He repeatedly advises Makutha not to get glued to the Leopard Gang, but the handsome judge remains stubborn.

"Utha, I'm sure they'll replace your duties well."

"Mother, I don't trust the other judges in that court! They're all ...."

Makutha. He asked Hasna to get a cell phone. After the flat object was in his grasp, Makutha immediately contacted Mr. Arjuna.

"Sir, Arjun. How's court?"

Makutha listened to every word that came out of Arjun's lips. However, Makutha's countenance suddenly changed. He's wide-eyed. His fingers clenched firmly and his jaw hardened.

"Damn!"
