The Dark Side of a Judge

The Dark Side of a Judge
Chapter 28. Stranger

The clock shows at 21:00 p.m., Makutha decides to stay at the Hospital. He wants to monitor Tito himself and make sure his condition improves.

After the blood transfusion, Tito did not open his eyes. I don't know what happened to one of the Leopard Gang members.

Makutha laid her body on the sofa. Today was one of the hardest days for him. Makutha's eyes were heavy that night.

Suddenly the door to Tito's room opened. He was half-conscious when he saw someone enter the room. The dim light of the room makes it difficult for Makutha to see clearly who is now standing near Tito's gurney.

Actually Makutha wants to get up from the sofa and approach the stranger. However, his body seemed unable to cooperate. Finally, he too was closed. Her eyelids felt like they were being glued. However, at a glance he could see something that might be able to uncover who exactly was in the room.

...****************...

Makutha awakens in sweat. The nightmare that almost every day comes in his sleep comes back. The man rubbed his rough face.

When she regained consciousness, Makutha realized that she was on top of a gurney with an infusion hose and oxygen attached to her arms and nose. On the man's side, the mother was sound asleep while holding her fingers.

"Mother," called Makutha softly as she tried to get up and lean her back against the pillow.

Wiggling pendant. He slowly opened his eyes, then looked at Makutha pitya. The pendant rubbed the back of Makutha's hand with a gentle smile.

"Tha, how? What are you feeling? Look at this your sweat is pouring out." The pendant rubbed the forehead of the son with a small towel that he always carried in the bag.

"What happened, Bun? Why I could be here. I slept on the couch last night." Makutha was confused trying to digest her current state.

"From the test results it is known that you take sleeping pills in high doses. Tha, Mother please do not torture yourself in this way. You are the same as hurting yourself. Just let Cio go."

Hearing the mother's words, of course, made Makutha frown. He never felt he was taking sleeping pills anytime soon. The man tried to shake off the bad thoughts that suddenly appeared in his head.

"Mother, I've been telling Cio away for a long time. But, I'm not sincere if the people involved in the case seven years ago are free to take it for granted." Makutha's jaw is hardened.

The grudge of the handsome judge, seems to have become fuel to keep moving forward. The pendant could only sigh violently.

"Oh, yeah. How's Tito doing, Bun?" makutha asked as she recalled her last condition before falling asleep.

The pendant understands very well the nature of Makutha. It can be ascertained after this will arise guilt that will eat away at Makutha's life. The pendant took a deep breath then exhaled it slowly.

"Tito died yesterday morning."

"What's? Nope! No way! Just last night, I let him sleep!"

"Your overnight billanh? Tha, you've slept for almost 48 hours!" exclaim Pendant with a thundered chest.

The woman's feelings were mixed. To be honest he was very upset with the stubbornness of the son. In addition, the Pendant is also very sad and worried because Makutha's life is always in danger.

The pendant is always trying to quell Makutha's grudge. However, the result was in vain. His son was determined to imprison all those involved in Abercio's death.

"What caused Tito's death, Bun?" makutha asked as she clenched her fingers under the blanket.

"The doctor said he was deprived of oxygen in the blood from the shock of the bleeding."

"Can you please call the nurse, Bun? I want to get these stupid things out of my body. I want to see someone."

"Tha, you must ...."

"Bund, please ...." Makutha looked at the mother pitya.

Inevitably, the Pendant finally called the nurse. Once Makutha is freed from the infusion and oxygen hose. The man headed straight for Hans's study. He wants to solve one thing.

The last memory is still clearly recorded in Makutha's brain. The man's jaw is hard. His steps sounded loud filled the still-deserted hospital corridor.

When he arrived in front of Hans' room, Makutha was silent for a moment. In her little heart, she hoped that what she thought was wrong. Makutha knocked on the door twice, then opened it slowly. How surprised Makutha was to see the sight before her.

"Hans, what the hell is this!"
