Chapter 5. Surprised

Arjun gets word that the man who attacked Makutha has been caught. The 50-year-old police sent a message to Makutha to inform him.

[The person who attacked you has been caught]

After the message was sent, Arjun immediately moved out of his chair and went to the investigation room. His footsteps sounded so loud when clashing against the floor. His head was filled with curiosity. He was curious about the motive behind the attack.

Every time he passed another cop, he always got a respectful greeting. Until he finally arrived in front of a room. At first Arjun hesitated. However, he wanted to see the face of the person who had dared to tease Makutha.

The man turned the door lever and opened it. The two investigators were staring intently at a skinny man sitting in front of him. Both of the men's hands were handcuffed.

"Jiang, Sir!" exclaim the two investigators simultaneously while saluting.

"Jiang."

Arjun continued to step closer to the suspect. When he got in front of him, he grabbed the man's chin, and raised it until the perpetrator's face was clearly visible to Arjun's eyes.

"What's your name?" ask Arjun.

The man simply remained silent as he continued to cast a sharp glare. Seeing the man's attitude made Arjun's emotions ignite. He threw out his chin then ruffled his waist.

"Are you mute?" arjun asked in a high tone while pointing at the face of the man before him.

"Really, Sir. He's mute" said Farhan.

"Damn!" arjun while kicking the air.

Farhan approaches Arjun and then offers the identity card of the perpetrator. Arjun accepted it and then spelled out the name that was written there.

"Surya?"

"He has no criminal record, sir. After we investigated her personal data, it turns out she lived with her mother who had a stroke."

"He must have been offered a big reward or been under pressure" Nico said.

"Has he not revealed anything yet?"

"No, Sir!"

They continued to talk until the surveillance on Surya weakened. Suddenly the man got up from the chair and ran towards the door. Fortunately Arjun was sprightly. He grabbed Surya's jacket collar and bent the man.

"You're running where you are!" exclaim Arjun.

"Let me put him in the cell first, sir!" exclaiming Farhan then led Surya to the holding cell.

It is not felt now the fifth day Makutha was admitted to the Hospital. The man was already feeling bored because he could not work. However, his disappointment to Viko was slightly treated because there were other cases that he would soon handle. The case relates to one of the Leopard Gang members.

"When can I go home?" makutha asked the nurse who was changing her bandages.

"Sorry, Sir. I can't be sure yet. It all depends on your condition and doctor Hasna's decision."

"Doctor Hasna is one of the best doctors here, sir. There is even much that he wants to deal with. Why did you reject him?" The nurse smiled amusedly while shaking her head.

"Already, just write it on the paper if I'm healthy! Even I can get salto and jumpalitan now!"

The nurse simply smiled then walked out of Makutha's room. Shortly afterwards Hasna came in in in casual clothes because she was on holiday.

"Come, salto now!" exclaimed Hasna while folding her arms.

"Gapain come here!" Makutha threw her face away, then stared out the window.

"Tomorrow morning you are allowed to go home. So keep being nice and be obedient!" Hasna smiled obliquely as she folded her arms.

Makutha's countenance changed slightly when she heard Hasna's words. He smiled almost invisibly. The man cheered in his heart.

"Do you need help?" asked Hasna while pulling a chair and landing her tiny body on the object.

"Go away, I just need some calm right now!" drive Makutha away without looking at Hasna.

"Wicked!" exclaimed Hasna while smiling wryly.

"Oh yes, Mother had already returned to Solo. Later when Ara's semester off, they'll be here for a vacation."

Makutha did not respond. Hasna took a rough breath and then left. After the beautiful doctor came out of the room where he was treated, Makutha immediately informed Mr. Arjun. He asked the Metropolitan Municipality Police to pick him up when he was allowed to go home.

The next day, when the clock showed at 09:00 Arjun had already arrived at the Hospital. He drove the car straight to the police station. In the car, Arjun and Makutha talk about the suspect who is still silent until now.

"He has special needs, Tha. And damn it, he didn't want to give us any clues at all!"

"meaning?" Makutha frowned while squinting her eyes.

"What is Mr Arjun?"

"He is deaf and mute. It seemed like he was working with great rewards and was under pressure or threat. When his mother had a stroke and was being treated at the Hospital."

"Damn!" swear Makutha while punching the air.

"If the condition of Surya's mother is healthy, we can ask for information from him."

Shortly after, a call came into Arjun's phone. The man answered a call from one of his subordinates. He looked so tense that he finally heard some unexpected news. Arjun immediately stepped on the brake pedal because he was surprised by the news he received.

"What!" peek Arjun
