The Dark Side of a Judge

The Dark Side of a Judge
Chapter 56. Our Baby

Hasna stared at the screen of her phone. The Pendant and Tiara. The three of them did not expect Liam to dismantle an old case that even involved himself.

The way Liam turned the facts around made Hasna furious. He threw the phone worth a dozen million from his grasp. Fortunately Tiara was sprightly, she managed to catch the phone with the apple logo.

"Mbak, sprains can. But please, this phone buys him money too! Tiara knows now that Hasna is a success. But yeah, don't throw it like this!" Tiara handed Hasna's phone back to her owner.

Hasna grabbed her phone, then pursed her lips. Both his eyebrows are intertwined. Not to forget the beautiful doctor folded his arms in front of his chest. "Messel me, Ra! This liam is really a male snake!"

"But, if you think about it, he just open his own disgrace, no? If he reveals this old case to the public, won't many people speak up?" Tiara seemed to be thinking while rubbing her chin.

"The only problem is that Makutha and I are credible witnesses to the incident." Hasna's shoulders slumped and now the beautiful woman was bowed lethargic.

"Sir, isn't there still a Leopard Gang and two other friends of Mas Utha?"

"Do you think they'll be honest?" Hasna raised one eyebrow.

Tiara fell silent. He instantly realized that Makutha this time was in a very disadvantageous position. The girl took a rough breath and landed her body on the sofa.

"Yes, too, Mother."

"Hopefully Makutha has another way to deal with this."

...****************...

The next day, Makutha immediately drove to the hospital to pick up Hasna, her mother, and her sister. It was a weekend, the streets had been jammed since dawn. This makes the time to go to the hospital longer. Along the way, Makutha recalls her conversation with Ruby and some members of the Leopard Gang.

The handsome Judge stayed overnight at the headquarters of the Leopard Gang. They predict the next events, as well as prepare a plan to fight Liam. Makutha this time wants to immediately imprison Liam.

Aside from his past grudges, Makutha wants Liam's reign to end soon. Liam is actually a bad leader. He seeks community sympathy by building educational facilities and worship.

Behind the scenes, however, he uses street children and homeless people to get funding from the government and philanthropists. Most of the funds he collected were used for personal activities, operations of the Cantul Gang, as well as covert campaigns.

"Look at it later! I'll make sure you're mired in a very deep abyss, so you can't go back to the surface, Liam."

Makutha's jaw is hardened. His fingers clenched firmly on the steering wheel. Soon a punch landed on the circular object.

After splitting the street for thirty minutes, Makutha finally arrived at the Hospital. He went straight down the corridor and met Hasna in the room where she was last treated.

Makutha's anger instantly evaporated into the air when she saw Hasna smiling broadly at him. Maudy's tiny baby is already in the arms of the beautiful doctor. Makutha sped up the pace to get close to Hasna.

"Come, we're home!" take Makutha with a big smile.

Hasna nodded at a glance. Shortly after, Tiara and Pendant entered the room. The pendant rushed over to Makutha, then checked the state of the son. The woman examined every inch of Makutha's body.

"Where were you going all night? We're waiting for you with a restless heart."

"Sorry, Mother. There was a little incident. But, everything's fine." Makutha smiled gently towards the Pendant.

"Mas, about last night's news ...." Tiara's words hang in the air because Makutha cuts her off.

"You don't have to worry, Ra. Everything's gonna be fine. Calm down."

"Mas, how can I calm down. That guy named Liam is so cunning! He even turned the facts around!" exclaim the fiery Tiara.

"Udah, we'll think about it later. Let's go home," asked Hasna who stepped first towards the door.

Arriving at Hasna's apartment, Makutha chatted briefly with her small family. Discussing some bad possibilities that could have befallen him.

"Please stay calm if something bad might happen to me. But, believe. I won't lose my life."

Makutha stared one by one at the women in front of her. Makutha now has another woman to protect. Maudy's baby is now her responsibility.

"Tha, what about child adoption? I've never been married and I'm less than 30."

"We have to find relatives of his parents. For a while, he could enter the family card of his parents' siblings. When we qualify to adopt Maudy's daughter, then we file her in court."

"We?" Hasna's eyes were perfectly rounded.

Makutha cleared her throat and began to misbehave. His eyes were not focused. The man occasionally rubbed his nape while looking down trying to hide a silly smile.

"But, Mas Utha. Lanang opo ora (what man isn't it)?" Tiara looked at Makutha who was now looking at her.

"Gasss, Mom! Before stabbed! Which is always there will sometimes lose the same that sat set sat set!" The tiara moves its arms like a motorbike racing another vehicle.

The pendant held back a laugh until his face turned red, while Hasna poked Tiara's arm. Tiara turned her gaze to Hasna. He squinted his eyes, and prepared to issue a pearl word for his future sister-in-law.

"Mbak Hasna too! The buruan das des! Don't pa-pa girls go ahead first! Siti Khodijah also proposed to His Majesty through her friend. So, do not be ashamed to propose to Mas Makutha first. I'm ready to be the one to deliver Ms. Hasna's proposal to Mas Utha!" Tiara lowered her eyebrows while smiling sillyly.

This time Tiara got a fatal pinch from the Pendant. Her hair stood up because of the pain. The girl grimaced and held the mother's arm, hoping the Pendant would release the pinch.

"Your mouth has no brakes, does it, Ra?" ask Pendant with tight teeth while glaring.

"Ouch! W-fuck, Mother! Leasin!"

"Other times if you say it's filtered first." The pendant continued to glare unwillingly releasing his fingers from Tiara's arms.

"Oh, my goodness, Mother!"

"He's got a filter, Bun?" makutha taunted while looking at the satisfied brother who was suffering.

"Here, later make this cute baby wake up." Hasna tried to remind the two women of different ages who were at odds.

Finally the pendant removed his fingers from the princess's arm. The middle-aged woman immediately turned her eyes to Hasna.

"Na, is there a name for him?" ask the Pendant while glancing at the baby in Hasna's arms.

Hasna shook her head with a faint smile. Makutha seems to be thinking hard. He rubbed his chin several times while folding one arm in front of his chest.

"I have a name that fits this baby."

The three women in the room stared in surprise at Makutha. They did not think that the man who often seemed indifferent actually already had a name for baby Maudy.

"Hasmita means the girl who is always happy. I wish she'd always be happy even if she didn't have parents."
