Chapter 29: Know

Zee sat leaning against Sean's oversized chair while staring out the window treated to the view of a tall skyscraper soaring. Given that today is a Wednesday which is a working day, the atmosphere of London is so crowded and busy by people passing by. An hour ago, Sean left him, still not knowing how much longer he had to wait.

What does Sean's version of a minute define as half a day?

Zee had seen the entire room with only equipment and company documents that Zee did not understand at all. All he could do was sigh while gazing out the window after exploring this black-dominated room.

His attention was distracted by the sound of a mobile phone vibrating on the desk. The vibration is continuous so that makes Zee inevitably see who the caller id belongs to who called him.

'Mommy'

It was that name that continued to appear as the caller id on Sean's phone. With hesitation, Zee took the vibrating phone and looked at it for a long time. Consider whether he should lift it or not. Finally, after consideration, he shifted the green button and then brought the phone closer to his ear.

"How long have you lifted him up, you ungodly son!" Zee kept her phone away from her ear because she heard a shrill scream from across the phone.

"Where are you? You have to come to L. A. the day after tomorrow to attend the company's birthday party. This is your father's order!" Zee did not have time to make his voice, the voice across the phone was heard again. Quieter than the beginning of the call, but there is an indisputable tone of command in it. Like Sean. His character seems to be passed down from his mother.

"Hello? Are you there, Sean?" ask the person across the phone.

"Ha-hello.." reply Zee stammered.

"Who are you? Why did you pick up the phone? Where's son?" ask the sound. His tone began to change.

"Listen to cheap women! Leave my son soon because he already has a lover and the day after tomorrow they'll sprout."

Zee's heart raced quickly when he heard the sentence the woman had just said across the phone. There's no way Sean's mother is lying. I don't know what he feels now. His heart just broke into pieces, hearing the statement Sean's mother said.

Does Sean really have a girlfriend? They're getting engaged? Wh who? Then why would Sean kidnap her and take her prisoner?

The questions kept popping up in Zee's head like a broken cassette. His hand that was holding the phone was already shaking and sweating coldly.

"Did you hear? so-so"

Zee turned off her phone connection unknowingly. A drop of tears fell down his cheek. He returned his phone back to the table with his hands still trembling. She wiped away her tears that kept flowing without her being able to prevent it. His feelings are mixed, whether what dominates, he does not understand. Shouldn't he be happy now? That means he'll be free from Sean's entrapment, right? But why would his heart hurt so much if Sean had a lover and was about to get engaged?

Zee stood up from his seat and then stepped out of Sean's room like a daze. He walked in no direction until he was unconscious in front of the elevator. He pressed the elevator button which was soon open. Zee goes into it and presses the random button. The elevator door opened again, Zee came out still with his empty gaze going in an uncertain direction. His shoulder accidentally hit someone.

"Can't you walk?!" snapping at someone who Zee hit upset Zee makes Zee jerk.

"That street wears eyes, you idiot! Don't you see there's a lot of people here?!" snapped again.

Zee lowered his head many times while muttering an apology. "I'm sorry, Miss."

"You don't seem to be an employee here? Why is a little girl like you here?" ask the woman with the makeup of the menor while looking at Zee from top to bottom with a judgmental look. The people around them started staring at the two, so they became the center of attention.

"This is an office not a market! Quickly disperse!" someone in the middle of their crowd. They also return to their respective jobs. Stop Zee and the woman he accidentally hit and the man who just called out.

"Selena!" he called out to the woman in front of Zee.

"You didn't hear me?" tanyanya flat.

"But he's"

"Back to work!" the order of the man who then the woman was breezed.

The man beside Zee turned to look at Zee. "Are you a new employee?" Zee shook his head.

"Then who are you?" ask the man.

"Can I tell you where the toilet is?" asked Zee in a hoarse voice without answering any questions.

"At the end of there." The man pointed at the end of the turn of the hallway. Zee nodded.

"Thank you" said Zee, looking down.

"I'm bryan, what's your name?" ask the man while extending his hand.

"Linzy's." Zee breezed away after saying his name without replying to the man's hand.

"Listen to cheap women! Leave my son immediately because he already has a lover and the day after tomorrow they will be engaged."

The sentence went back into Zee's brain. The name cheap woman indeed deserves it because she is no longer valuable. She was raped twice by two different men.

Is correct. From the beginning of his relationship with Sean, and the unclear reason Sean suddenly kidnapped and locked him up is nothing more than an obsession and lust for the man. She's nothing more than a night woman at a nightclub. The difference is, he only serves Sean. A rich man who kidnapped her by force. He doesn't deserve to live, he should have ended his life since he was at Sean's.

Zee's tears fell dripping down drop by drop until it flowed profusely wet his cheeks. His nails involuntarily injured his wrist again until it bled. A soft whisper began to sound from Zee's mouth. Why should he be born if he should feel this suffering alone. Death seems to make him happier.

"Hey what are you going to eat for lunch?"

"I want pizza because I haven't tasted it in a long time."

The voices of the two women talking alerted Zee. He flinched, then closed his mouth to hold the stuffing that would not stop coming out. A few minutes after he calmed down, there was no sound from the two women. Zee finally came out of the toilet at the end of the room.

Slender... That's the atmosphere of the toilet.

Zee immediately washed the wound in his hand with water and then covered it with long sleeves. He washed his face to make it look fresh. Zee stared at the reflection of his face in the mirror that looked messy.

'dead!'

Zee gasped and washed his face again then looked back at the mirror. The voice was so real that it entered his ears, further encouraging Zee to end his life. After wiping his wet face with a tissue and tidying up his hairdo, he immediately went from the toilet to return to Sean's room. She only had to play her role as 'Woman' Sean. Can't be more.

Zee walks toward a special elevator and presses an infinite button that will deliver him to Sean's room. The sound of ting followed by the elevator door opened making Zee immediately exit. Just as he was about to open the door of the room that said CEO, the voice of someone diverted his attention.

"Dam!"
