Chapter 71: Sean's Family

"Dam!" A voice he knew and someone he knew came out of the mansion.

"Maura!" Zee took turns hugging the woman.

"Yes!" A small, shrill voice from within followed along with her small footsteps running towards the two of them who were hugging. The boy immediately hugged Zee's leg and raised his head.

"Ravel, I miss you." Zee who felt a hug on his leg immediately carried Ravel and kissed her cheek.

"I miss you too, Aunty." Ravel kissed Zee's cheek back.

"Ravel, don't kiss Aunty Zee recklessly. Uncle Sean won't like it and will be mad at you later." Aurel commemorated his son with a joking tone.

"Let's just kiss me as much as you, Uncle Sean isn't here." Zee supports Ravel.

"What's up here?" Another voice known to Zee was heard from inside the mansion.

"Mommy?" Zee is surprised to find Sean's mother in this mansion.

"Zee, honey." Alana hugs the warm Zee who is still holding Ravel.

"Let's go inside. Ravel, get off Aunty Zee, honey. Aunty Zee is carrying her baby in the belly, too." Aurel spoke, realizing that they were still in front of the mansion.

Zee and the others went inside after Ravel without denying getting off Zee's sling. However, he still held tightly onto Zee's fingers while looking curiously at Zee's flat stomach.

"A baby?" ravel asked Zee who was still watching Zee's stomach.

"He's still growing inside my stomach. As my stomach grows, he'll soon come out and be Ravel's friend." Zee touched his stomach.

"That's true" Aurel added.

"Baby, I love you." Ravel released Zee's finger and ran inside.

"Ravel, don't run!" aurel and soon after his son.

"Mommy since when did you come here?" zee asked after remaining only the two of them.

"I've been with Aurel since this morning. I've also heard that you went to Indonesia yesterday to ask for your parents' blessing" Alana replied.

"Yes, Mommy. And just now when I went to college, I heard from my friend that my wedding invitations and Sean's already been spread out. Though it has not been a day since I returned from Indonesia, but he has surprised me," Zee said after the two sat on the sofa of one of the rooms that looks like a family room.

Alana just laughed at hearing that. He understood with Zee's irritation that felt so sudden. His son was indeed moving very quickly to make Zee his.

"Actually, he had prepared the invitation before you went to Indonesia. He had already prepared everything and all he needed was the blessing of his father-in-law. So, after you're done from Indonesia, Sean did everything he's prepared for." Alana also explained.

Suddenly Zee's memory returns when Sean has not contacted her for a long time. He said he was only working to prepare for their departure to Indonesia. However, he also apparently prepared for their marriage without telling her first.

"Don't worry, Zee. Sean didn't prepare everything himself, you also contributed to choosing whatever you like. Your dress, decorations, wedding cakes, everything you're gonna have to choose, honey. That's why Mommy and Aurel are here." Not finished being surprised, Zee was again surprised by what Alana said.

"But I'm not helping anything?" ask Zee.

"You've helped by choosing, dear. That's your part and let Sean do the rest. It won't be too hard, honey." Zee finally understood if everything was easy as long as money existed.

"Because it's too late, we'll start tomorrow. You must be tired from just getting home from college. Have you had dinner?" alana asked who found the trousers from Zee.

"We'll have dinner together after Sean gets home. She'll be home soon, let alone knowing you're here." Alana laughed again.

"By the way, how old is he now?" alana asked again to change the subject.

"I'm glad he's okay. Is he still not making things difficult for you?" asked Alana back who this time felt more interviewing her.

"No, she's still the same as ever since she met Mommy last time." This talk continues with the stories of Alana when she conceived Sean and Aura.

"Uncle!" Ravel runs to the main door of the mansion along with Marlyn who opens the door for Sean.

"Hey, little boy." Sean immediately carried Ravel.

"Thank you, Marlyn." Sean said as Marlyn took her coat and briefcase.

"Mansion is more crowded now because the big madam, Miss Aurel, and Miss Linzy are here." Marlyn seemed happy when she told Sean.

Sean did not answer and just smiled. Marlyn goes inside first to save Sean's briefcase and work coat.

"Where's your Mommy?" ask Sean while he goes inside.

"She was with grandmom and Aunty Zee" replied the little Ravel.

Sean's steps walked toward the living room that was usually occupied. Closer, he began to hear voices from the women he loved.

"Sean's home, son." Alana says she was the first to notice Sean's presence.

"Let's have dinner now. Ravel, let your Uncle clean his body" Alana said as she stood up from her seat.

Ravel obediently got down from Sean's sling and went back to Zee while clasping her fingers. Zee glances at Sean and passes him by. However, Sean did not let it go and restrained Zee's other wrist. He steals one kiss on Zee's lips and glances mischievously at her.

Sean went up to his room to clean his body first after work. When he returned to the dining table, the dining table was more filled with his family who had just arrived. His father and sister-in-law and best friend have arrived.

"This is the man who in one week will give up his bachelorhood!" zach welcomes Sean's arrival.

"He's faster than his father" Alana said.

"Mommy, are Aunty Zee and Uncle Sean getting married?" ask Ravel.

"Yes, honey," Aurel replied.

"Welcome to the Rexford family, Zee." Julian spoke warmly while looking at the gentle Zee.

"Thank you for welcoming me to your family, Daddy." Zee could barely hold back her tears.

The warmth of a complete family that he had not felt for a very long time since the departure of his mother, was given by Sean to him at this time. This man not only saved her from that darkness, but also gave her a lot of happiness.

Sean who was sitting next to him clasped Zee's hand which was under the table. Zee turned his head and found Sean's face smiling gently at him. Zee could not bear to get close to her and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you, thanks Sean."
