Chapter 30: What's wrong?

"Dam!" someone from behind him.

"Where are you from, honey?" sean asked after he got to Zee's front.

"I'm just going around your company. Are you done?" ask Zee

Sean nodded. "Let's have lunch, you must be hungry for me. Sorry, Bae."

"Nope, I'm glad to be able to circle your office." Zee calms Sean down.

"Come, I'm hungry too" he continued.

"Mr Rexford." The voice of a person makes both of them simultaneously turn to the direction of the origin of the sound. Secretary Sean is speaking.

"There's a document you need to sign, sir." It was obvious what the real intentions of this woman were.

"Just keep it on my desk" replied Sean flatly.

"But it's important, sir," he argued again as if to prevent Sean from leaving.

"You or I are the boss here?!" snapped Sean. Zee was surprised but immediately calmed Sean by rubbing his arm.

"Sean don't get extended, let's go now, ok?" Zee looked gently at Sean.

Sean snorted at his secretaries then took Zee's hand, taking him away.

"By the way, where's Axel?" tanya Zee broke the silence between the two in the elevator.

"Why are you asking? And again, don't call him Big Brother! He's not your brother, I don't like it, babe!" Sean frowned at his forehead a sign of his dislike.

"He's older than me" Zee said.

"Axel alone or did I fire him?" sean asked flatly, Zee stared in disbelief at Sean.

Just because of the call, Sean debates and disputes it until he will fire Axel. Really sucks.

"elright! You got it!" zee's grunts are upset.

"That's my Lil Girl." Sean dipped on Zee's soft temple then embraced his waist as he exited the elevator.

"Sean, release! It's a public place" whispered Zee as they passed through the lobby where a fair number of employees were passing by staring at them. Sean just shrugged his shoulders indifferently not caring about it.

"Lino!" The voice of someone made his second step stop. They looked towards the man who ran over to the two.

"Good day, Mr. Rexford," he said, bowing his body to greet Sean.

"Ah. hmm..." Zee frowned trying to remember the man in front of her.

"Bryan!" The man's voice sounded.

"Yes! Bryan! Ah, Bryan I'm sorry I didn't thank you properly earlier." Zee looked at Bryan regretfully.

"No problem, you seemed to be in a bit of a hurry." Bryan's words made Zee a little afraid of someone beside him.

"Yes, once again I'm sorry. Ah, yes my name is Linzy Alanza, you can call me Zee." Zee reached out her hand to properly introduce herself while trying to melt the atmosphere. Before Bryan returned Zee's hand, Sean shook Bryan's hand first.

"Bryan Colpson, right?" ask Sean. Bryan nodded his ass in a small grimace as his hand was slightly squeezed by Sean's big hand.

"Darling, can we go?" Sean turned to look at Zee who was silent in his place.

"Then Bryan we go first, it's nice to meet you and thank you again." Zee smiled at Bryan.

Sean finally takes off Bryan's hand and re-embraces Zee's possessive waist. As if showing ownership of Zee to Bryan. Both of them go. Bryan stared at Zee from behind until the girl got into his car.

"My competition is too heavy for me" Bryan said, sighing to see their car was gone.

"Where were you going in my office?" sean asked, making Zee's attention from the streets of London turn toward Sean who looked straight at the streets.

"Floor 17" replied Zee

"Then why are you in such a hurry?" ask Sean back. This is the question he fears.

"I thought maybe I was long gone so I hurried back." Zee hopes Sean believes his word. No more sounds heard other sounds from the vehicle engine and the hustle and bustle of the highway. Sean parked his car in the courtyard of a five-star restaurant and then turned off the engine.

"We arrived" Sean said, unbending his seatbelt. Same with Zee. The two got out of the car and stepped inside this luxurious looking restaurant.

"Aren't you overdoing it just for lunch?" ask Zee.

Sean laughed at Zee's question which made Zee feel stupid. "Whatever concerns you to me, nothing is excessive." Sean's sweet words again managed to make his cheeks blush perfectly. Zee escapes his gaze on the menu book that is on the table.

A servant came to their table. "Welcome to our restaurant, sir, Miss. Can I write your order?"

"Darling, what do you want to eat?" asked Sean while flipping through the menu book.

"Anything as long as there's cake" replied Zee.

Sean mentioned his order and the order for Zee to the servant who was instantly taken in. The waiter walked away.

"The next day we're going to L. A. for my family's corporate birthday." Sean starts the conversation, making Zee's body petrified.

'us?'

"Why don't you?" ask Zee.

"Of course because there's a big surprise for you!" sean smiled happily. Zee's heart raced back and forth quickly to hear the statement coming out of Sean's mouth.

"What surprise?" tanya Zee tried to control her voice so as not to shake.

Sean chuckles "not a surprise if I tell you now, honey."

'Surprise about her lover and engagement?'

Their order came to bring the conversation of the two to a halt. Zee chose to keep eating his food in silence.

"Darling..." Zee stopped cutting the meat on his plate then turned to stare at Sean who was staring at him.

"What's wrong?" Sean's question doesn't make Zee understand. That should be his question.

"You mean?" ask Zee back. Sean's hand opened Zee's sleeve and exposed the wound on his wrist.

"Is something bothering you?" sean looked at the open wound.

"No, Sean, I didn't realize I was doing it. I'm sorry," said Zee avoiding Sean's gaze.

"Didn't you trust me? You can share anything with me, honey. Does my attitude still make you upset, angry, or disgusted by what I did to you?" asked Sean looking at my Zee.

Zee's eyes glazed over as he looked at Sean, finally bringing Zee back to the car.

Sean had Zee in the steering wheel. As soon as he closed the car door about to stare at Zee, the girl hugged Sean tightly hiding her face in the recess of Sean's neck. Zee's body shook, sobs began to sound in Sean's ears. He patiently and gently stroked Zee's back.

"Se-sean, I'm sorry" said Zee amid sobs.

Sean's neck and shirt were wet from Zee's tears, but it wasn't a problem for him. The most important thing is the satisfaction of this girl crying. Long enough Zee cried until only a little prank came out. Finally Zee took off his embrace, looking at Sean with a careless face. Swollen and moist eyes, wet cheeks with tears, a red nose and snot coming out. Don't forget the tangled and mopped hair. Sean took out his silk handkerchief from his suit pocket and wiped Zee's tears and snot without feeling disgusted.

"South..."

"Yes, Baby?"

"I'm. I'm sorry, I didn't mean or think that about you. I just... "

"I understand, I should have apologized to you. Even a thousand of my apologies won't be able to repeat time. But please believe me, baby. I want to take care of you with all my soul, from the moment of our first meeting on campus you have succeeded in harassing me. "

Suddenly the sound of Zee's stomach was heard up to Sean's ears making Zee's cheeks quickly reddened.

"Do you want to go back there?" ask Sean

Zee shook his head. "I want cake."

"As you wish my Baby Girl." Sean ruffled Zee's hair slowly.

Zee returned to his seat and put on his seatbelt before Sean drove his car at high speed to London's best cafe cake.
