Chapter 60: The Worries

Before Aidan finished his words, Kyra kissed Aidan's lips gently. Aidan refused and deepened their kiss. After a few seconds passed, Kyra finally ended it first because she felt she needed oxygen. The breaths of the two were panting after their lips came off.

"You're really not going upstairs?" ask Kyra.

"It's 10 o'clock, I have to go home. There are some tasks that I have to work on," Aidan replied with a regretful facial expression.

"I'm sorry for forcing you to date in the middle of your busy life." Kyra this time who showed a regretful facial expression.

"No, I'm also glad we spent some time together. Now go inside and rest. Zee must have gone home too" said Aidan.

Kyra hugs Aidan one last time before he exits. At times Aidan gently stroked Kyra's hair in his arms before they parted.

"Be careful on the road" Kyra said as she waved her hand at Aidan's car, which started to drive away.

Kyra walks into her apartment which is still quite crowded for hours already quite late. This scene is no stranger to the city. Especially in the streets are more crowded even though the clock has shown midnight though.

While playing with her phone, Kyra walks into the elevator. Because he did not see the road, someone suddenly hit him. Soon Kyra diverts her attention from the phone on the person she hit.

"I'm so sorry, sir." Kyra lowered her head several times while saying her apology.

The man in black and hat did not understand what Kyra was saying. He just walked away. Kyra looked back to see him last time.

"Non-natural back," muttered Kyra while still watching the man's back body. Before long he shook his head and continued his steps back.

"Hows it? I told you they'd be very happy with this news. That's why they flew straight to this town to see you" Sean said in the middle of their car ride.

Zee did not reply and only showed her a smile. A smile full of relief. He is happy and relieved, after meeting with both parents Sean who will also be his parents as well. Advice and words from Sean's mother, even more so. It was like hearing advice from his own mother. A feeling he has not felt for a long time.

"What did Mommy say?" ask Sean.

"This is only between women. Secret." Zee did not answer.

"All you need to know is what you heard from Mommy and Daddy earlier" Sean continued.

"I think you heard what Daddy said, too" Sean said.

"Of course," replied Zee haughtily.

"So, you better stay back with me at the mansion. There all your needs are available. Security is awake. And wherever you go, there's gonna be a drop-off. Why do you still choose to live with your friends?" Sean said in a slightly annoyed tone.

Zee looked back at Sean. He didn't answer long enough.

"Your mansion has provided everything, but not with warmth. It was more like a golden cage to me. You don't want me to stress too much, do you?" From Zee's tone, he sounded serious. This time it was Sean who was speechless with what Zee had said.

"And again, Sean, aren't you building a mansion too far from the city? If I go to college from your mansion, it could take over an hour. Isn't that the same as going to your office?" Zee asked with laughter afterwards to melt the atmosphere.

"The mansion was a long time ago and I rarely visited. I stay in the office or the penthouse more often" replied Sean.

'It should feel very cold the atmosphere.' Zee said in his mind.

"But ever since you lived there, the mansion has been warmer. So, I take my work there to be with you more often." Sean continued.

"It's too late now, you go home and get some rest, Sean." Zee says to prevent Sean from going down and deliver him to the top.

"But it's also night for you, Zee." Sean denied.

"I just went in and got on the elevator and arrived. As for you, you have to go through a longer time to get to your house. See you," said Zee before kissing Sean's cheek quickly and getting out of Sean's car.

Zee waves at Sean's car, which starts to drive away from his apartment building. He then went inside to the elevator. However, Zee accidentally bumped into someone who made him take a few steps back.

"I'm sorry, sir." Zee lowered his head briefly and continued his steps without paying attention to the man again. He just wanted to get into his apartment and sleep.

After arriving at the floor of his apartment, he stepped slowly towards his apartment unit. His footsteps sounded like someone was also stepping behind him. Zee looked back and saw the man he had hit earlier also arrived here. Bad thoughts begin to hit Zee. He immediately accelerated his footsteps to arrive. Occasionally looking back, ascertaining whether the suspicious man behind her was indeed following her.

When he typed in the password of his apartment door in a panic, someone patted him on the shoulder. Zee screamed and reflexively brushed off the hand that touched his shoulder. His body had been trembling since when it had been trembling in fear.

"Hey, Babe. It's me, Sean." Hearing the voice, Zee looked up and found Sean's worried face staring at him.

"Sean, why are you still here and here?" tanya Zee tried to stay calm.

He looked at the man he thought was following him. The man entered into one of the apartment units making a sigh of relief come out of his mouth.

"I'm just worried and making sure you get there safely." Sean wiped away the sweat that was on the woman's forehead.

"I'm fine and have arrived. So, go home now" Zee said, pushing Sean slowly away from him.

"Are you sure you don't want to linger with me anymore?" sean asked with a teasing look.

"We need to rest, Sean! Go home and be careful when driving. I'll wait for you." Zee folded his hands in front of his chest waiting for Sean to leave him.

"I'll go after you get in" Sean argued.

"alright. Don't go anywhere after this!" sweat Zee while pointing at Sean.

"Yes" Sean replied briefly.

"See you soon" Zee said goodbye before he finally went inside.

Sean still put on his warm smile until Zee actually went inside and closed the door. Once Zee had arrived safely, his facial expression turned cold again. His hand pulled out his phone to call someone.

"What about her?" ask Sean directly across the phone.

"..."

"Find and find him! Before I see her following my fiancee again!"
