Chapter eight: Don't desire to be happy ?

"Kyras! Aidan!" zee exclaims at the sight of Kyra and Aidan having just returned home from their date.

"What's Zee?" kyra asked after removing her bag and opening the soda can from the refrigerator.

"Help me shoot Athan!" Kyra spouted out her drink which she just gulped.

Aidan and Kyra look at each other because they met Athan was dating another woman. Zee with her happy face went back inside her room cheerfully.

"Where's dong, Ai?!" kyra panicked. Aidan could only sigh and shook his head in ignorance and shook his shoulder.

Zee picks up his phone intending to contact Athan to meet him tonight. At the fifth ringtone, someone across the street picked up his phone.

"Hello Zee," greeted Athan first with a slight tone of doubt.

"He-hello, Athan, um.." Zee is suddenly nervous when he hears Athan's voice. For more than a month he has not spoken or interacted with Athan since the incident.

"Yes, what's wrong?" ask Athan back there. Zee was silent for a long time.

"Do you have any time tonight?" ask Zee slowly. His voice was not loud enough for Athan to hear.

"Can you repeat?" ask Athan again.

"Can you come to Sunrise tonight?" zee asked quickly and slightly raised his voice.

"Yes, of course," Athan said, agreeing with Zee's invitation.

"There's something I want to talk to you about" Athan continued, causing Zee's heart to beat.

"Me too" replied Zee softly.

"Then I'll see you at Zee's cafe" Athan said.

"Yes, see ya." Zee's connection was unilaterally broken without hearing what Athan would say again.

Zee throws his phone on the bed in any direction, slamming his body into the bed while holding his rumbling chest. His cheeks flushed red from hearing Athan's voice coming back from the phone. He was rolling in an uncertain direction on the bed. Zee stands up from his bed and walks towards his closet to choose the clothes he will wear when he goes to the Cafe to meet Athan. Thinking of Athan made her cheeks redden back. After a long time choosing clothes and randomizing the contents of his closet, finally the choice fell on long jeans and white top pliers coated with mint-colored cardigans.

It's 16:45 now. Zee immediately took a bath with her favorite soap for 30 minutes. Finished with her bathing ritual, she dressed up longer this time to beautify herself. Not with thick makeup but heavier makeup but natural impressed.

18.30 P.M.

Zee finished by preparing herself so that she was more beautiful than usual. He comes out of the room and sees Kyra and Aidan who are still in the living room. Aidan and Kyra stared at Zee from the tip of her foot to the tip of her head. Do not forget the smell of soap as fragrant as Zee's body when he came out of the room.

"Lo my friend?" ask Kyra in disbelief.

"That's it!" zee said as he flicked his hair back. Aidan was still petrified in his place staring at Zee who was prettier than usual.

"My Lil Zee." That's the only word that came out of Aidan's mouth. Zee's cheeks blushed red for being praised by her two best friends. His head is deep.

"Aidan, Kyra, let's dong anter Zee meet Athan!" zee said after a long silence. The two fell silent and then threw one another a glance.

"Have you contacted Athan?" ask Aidan. Zee nodded in response.

"Yaudah, come on," asked Aidan later.

"But we'll be different tables, yes Zee same lo both," said Kyra then took her bag on the sofa. The three of them drove to Cafe Sunrise.

Kyra sat unsettled in her seat looking fretfully at Aidan who was just as nervous. What will Athan say when he hears Zee's confession?

Fifteen minutes later they arrived at the Sunrise Cafe. Athan waved his hand from where he was sitting when he learned of the presence of Zee, Kyra, and Aidan. Zee waved his hand back at Athan's greeting as he walked closer to Athan's table.

"Than, we're sitting at another table, yes" said Kyra holding Aidan's hand. "Why not just be with us?" athan asked frowned.

"Here, we'll be alone." Aidan. They pass away leaving Zee and Athan.

Suddenly an awkward atmosphere enveloped. After Zee's order coffee came, he sipped a little coffee that still puffed the steam to reduce nervousness.

"Athan's..." Call Zee first after a few seconds of breaking the silence. Athan focuses on Zee, listening carefully to what the girl in front of him is going to say.

"There's something I want to say" he continued.

"Yes." Yeah." Athan has prepared his ears well

"I still didn't realize at that time that liking was more than just a friend." Zee continued his words. "And refuse you so..."

"After a month we don't interact no matter what I realize, if I like you more than just friends." Zee this time stared right at the bead of Athan's eyes that was still closing his mouth.

"I'm sorry I misjudged my feelings. I'm too stupid about feelings, Than. So sorry because I realized it too late" said Zee glassy. I don't know for what reason.

"Do you still like me?" ask Zee afterwards.

Athan looked at Zee with an undefined look. Zee waits anxiously for the answer Athan will give. It could be that Athan's feelings have been lost just like that because it was just a casual liking or admiration for Zee. Athan sighed before he opened his mouth to speak.

"I also want to apologize to you, Zee. Sorry for not contacting me after that day." Athan said.

"For the answer to your question, I'm sorry" he continued.

The apology Athan spoke made Zee sweat cold in his place. His hand had been squeezed from earlier because of his nervousness to wet.

"I already have Zee's girlfriend." Zee held back desperately his tears that would come out after hearing Athan's rejection.

"Hi babe, what r u doing here?" ask a girl from behind Zee.

"Hi baby, know this Zee my friend," said Athan introduced Zee to his lover.

Zee took a breath and exhaled before he looked at the lover's face of the person he liked.

"Hi! I'm Linzy, nice-" Zee's remarks were cut short when she found out who the girl behind her was.

"Hi Zee! you know my guy?" tanya Teressa displayed a look of surprise that looked pretend.

Kyra and Aidan come to Zee as soon as they know there's Teressa who's out of nowhere. Kyra directly pushed rough Teressa's shoulder back a few steps. He put his body in front of Zee's body, Aidan behind Zee holding his shoulder. Athan approached Teressa and restrained her body from falling. He stared in dislike towards Kyra.

"What the hell is this, Kyra?!" athan asked annoyed at Kyra who was staring hard at Teressa who was already playing victim. Kyra alternately stared intently at Athan who was defending her.

"You know him?" ask Kyra flat.

"She's my girlfriend!" exclaim Athan. Aidan and Kyra were a little surprised by the fact he had just heard.

"Ra we go, look at Zee's condition now," said Aidan holding Kyra back from emotions. Kyra finally relents and leaves with Aidan to take Zee.

"You'll regret after relative with that bit*ch, Athan." Kyra said in a cold tone past Athan who was still on Teressa's side holding onto his shoulder.

"I want to go alone." Zee let out his voice after he got to the front of his car.

"But Zee it's late, we'd better go home" said Aidan worried.

"Please..." Zee stared pleadingly at the two. Aidan and Kyra finally allow Zee to go in her car alone leaving Kyra and Aidan. They think their friends need time alone.

The streets of London are quite crowded tonight because the clock is still showing at 19:30. Zee drives his car in no direction until he is on a road that is rarely passed by vehicles passing by. So the road atmosphere is quite quieter. He stopped on the side of the road and turned off his car engine. He leaned his head in front of the steering wheel after sighing tiredly. Tears began to pour down her cheeks without sobbing she cried alone in the car. His hand had already injured his wrist with his long fingernails to the point of spitting out blood and soaking his cardigan and pants.

In the middle of her crying, a foreign man knocks on the windshield of her car while pointing a gun at her from outside. The man gave her a code to get out of her car. The quiet and dark atmosphere of the road scared Zee now. There was no one to ask for help. In the end he had no choice but to obey what the man wanted for his safety.

Zee got out of his car and raised both his hands beside his head. His face was already wet with tears, his body trembling in fear. He only looked down when the tip of the gun was stuck right in his head. Suddenly a handkerchief that had been given medicine, smothering his mouth and nose made Zee unconscious.

Another foreign man got out of the car behind Zee's car. Approaching the unconscious Zee. He took her and took her into the car he was driving.

"Make this an accident!" his orders were cold before he got into his car.

The man holding the gun just nodded in response to his boss' orders. The foreign man's car drove away leaving Zee's empty car.
