Chapter 48: The Don't Go

"Master, you have a meeting schedule after lunch. In addition, the project in Valencia will also be completed with you signing this document." Axel gives his report while placing some of the maps he brings to Sean's desk.

Sean shifted his attention. He opened and read the documents one last time before nodding in satisfaction and signing them. He then gave it to Axel.

"You can handle it yourself without my help. I'll be monitoring his new development every month" Sean said firmly but remained on a cold note to Axel. However, this time his right hand did not seem to feel frightened and instead looked happy. His good boss mood makes him a little relieved and calm.

"You may go" Sean ordered, staring at the watch in his hand that showed lunch time.

"Okay, sir, I'm sorry." Axel lowered his head, before finally waltzing away.

"Where's that motherfucker?" sean muttered that was seen waiting for someone to come. He took his phone to call someone. However, the sound of the door being opened made him undo his intentions.

"Yo, what's up!" the sweep was quite tight as soon as he walked into Sean's room and looked at Sean who was staring at him flatly.

"Did you miss me so much that a few minutes too late made you mad, Sean?" zach asked as he sat on Sean's soft sofa and raised his feet on the table haughtily.

Sean rolled his eyes lazily. However, he stood up to join Zach. Sean loosened the tie that was so suffocating his neck while sighing heavily.

"What about your plan to destroy that bastard boy?" zach asked to start the conversation.

"As you say. I don't want this to be known to Zee, or they know I'm related to Zee so do this to them. This plan has to be done slowly but surely destroy them" Sean said.

Zach raised his eyebrows to look at Sean and nodded in understanding. Just a few days ago he and Sean went to a club and drank together. However, this man had rarely been there. Prefer to spend time with his wife.

"By the way, what made me come here?" Zach asked again starting the core of their conversation that made him come here.

Sean looked at the old Zach with an unreadable look. Then said quietly, "Zee's pregnant."

"Really?" zach asked in shock. A second later he smiled broadly.

"Congratulations, Bro! You'll come to Daddy, Sean!" pekik Zach congratulated his best friend and brother-in-law.

Sean looks unhappy and does not react to what Zach says. His facial expression still looks the same and does not change. Inviting Zach to frown his forehead in astonishment. There is no way this man is unhappy over the pregnancy of the woman he loves.

"What's up, buddy? You look unhappy?" ask Zach.

"Zee was depressed before meeting me because of that bastard boy" Sean replied. From what Sean said, Zach began to understand what Sean was worried about.

"Hey, which woman won't be happy with the news of her pregnancy." Zach finally replied.

"Listen, at the beginning of my relationship with Zee didn't go well at all." Sean's words made Zach's forehead wrinkle again. He became curious about the beginning of their relationship.

"You know at the beginning I was only interested in her as my pretty doll that I could play with. However, after I kidnapped her and she tried to escape and then I raped her, she tried to kill herself. After that I tried to find out the truth and the psychiatrist said, if he had been depressed before. Until I found out from you that Zee had been abused by that bastard. However, we-"

"Kidnap her?" Zach cuts Sean's explanation and asks.

"What the fool you are!" Zach wants to laugh but pity Zee.

"I know," replied Sean sighing heavily. Zach had wanted to open his mouth to praise Sean who he knew was haughty and arrogant, admitting himself to be stupid. However, he realized this was not the right time.

"So, what's the plan?" The question came out of Zach's mouth. He felt a little compassion for Sean who was in the middle of anxiety. However, from there he sees Sean's gentle side and loves Zee so much.

"I have to do some treatment for Zee's mental recovery. Psychiatrists say if drugs and all of Zee's current conditions make it difficult to heal. You know, I want Zee to get well and live a normal life. Without having to hurt himself, at times experiencing severe anxiety disorder, seeing hallucinations, and trying to kill himself." After that long explanation, Sean paused the next sentence he was going to say.

"So, I think the baby came at an inopportune time. I'll drop Zee's body for her recovery." Zach doesn't believe what he just heard.

"Think about it, Sean!" sakut continued.

"It's not just about you! But also about Zee! She's the mother of the baby!" zach spoke again before Sean spoke.

"I did this for her and this is the best for my girl!" answer Sean loudly.

"Miss, why are you running? Miss!" The yelling sound of a man outside Sean made Sean and Zach's conversation stop. Sean straightened his body as well as Zach. The two stared at each other.

"Zee?" sean muttered before he finally stood up from his seat, ran towards the door, and opened it roughly. Followed by Zach.

When they were outside the room they saw Austin, one of the bodyguards Sean assigned to guard his fiancee, seen chasing a girl. A girl Sean knows very well.

"Linozy! Baby!" Sean called out to Zee who had entered the elevator. Austin couldn't even catch up to him.

From Zee's facial expression the last time Sean saw, he could guess that Zee heard their conversation. However, he did not know where he heard it.

"Damn!" sean was already in front of the closed elevator and pressed the elevator button.

"Can't you just go after a girl?!" Sean vented his anger at the pellet-headed bodyguard.

"Stairman" said Zach, stopping Sean.

The three of them rushed towards the emergency staircase and descended it quickly. This is the top floor, impossible to catch the elevator that just passed through the lobby floor and Sean's room floor. But the three continued down the stairs until they reached the lobby.

"Dam!" sean shouted calling the name of the girl who was seen already in the lobby and ran towards the entrance. Sean immediately ran to chase after Zee. In an instant they became the center of attention.

"Prevent him from getting out!" exclaimed Sean ordered the two guards who were in front of the entrance. The guards who heard Sean yell immediately caught Zee, coinciding with the girl who was about to pass them by.

"Take me off!" Zee began to rebel with all his might in the grip of the two guards. He looked back and found Sean who was close to approaching and reaching him.

With tears flowing and despair, Zee rebelled with all her might. He kicked the guards' legs until they grimaced in pain. The chance to escape Zee took advantage of by biting the hands of the two guards so that he managed to escape.

"Dam!" shouts Sean who is still chasing after the girl.
