Chapter 66: Disappointment

Dante is shocked and doesn't respond after hearing stories from Sean and Zee. He had just been happy to see his only child returning from a faraway land. However, what his daughter brought home was something that made him very disappointed. Not to his daughter, but to himself. Which father is not sad and disappointed to hear if his daughter was pregnant before marriage.

Dante leaned against the sofa and covered his face with one hand. Slowly her tears flowed down her face. He could not say anything until he cried.

"Bapi, I'm sorry Zee." Zee immediately approached the father and hugged him. He also began to cry, seeing his father crying.

Sean let it be. He who has a different culture from the two of them, a little did not understand with Zee's father. However, he clearly knew that his future father-in-law was very disappointed. But more to himself.

"Did Papi not educate you all this time? Or was Papi wrong in educating you? Papi's really not out of thought with all this, Zee. Papi is disappointed in himself for not being able to properly educate Papi's daughter and not being able to take care of her." Dante shook his head.

His father who had always been strong and never cried after the departure of his mother, this time shed his tears back after all this time. And it was because of her, the biological daughter of her own father.

"No, it's all Zee's fault, Pi. The wrong Zee, please forgive Zee." Zee shook his head in denial of what his father had said.

"Then what about your college?" dante asked as he glanced at Sean after wiping away his tears. Although he was really disappointed, but he was a little relieved and calm because the man who had impregnated his daughter wanted to take responsibility even to come here himself.

"Sean said, I can continue my studies after giving birth to her. He also allowed me to do whatever I wanted even though we were married and had children." Zee replied.

"The fire is relieved to hear it then, Zee," said Dante.

"Then, is Papi going to bless our relationship?" zee asked slowly a little scared.

"What else can you do if you're like this? There's no point in Papi banning you, it's getting worse." Dante spoke as he stood up from his seat.

"Battle!" yelled Zee while standing up.

"Thank you, and sorry." Zee hugged his father once more.

Dante did not say anything other than returning a hug from his daughter. After seeing the seriousness in his prospective daughter-in-law while talking explained, he saw a sense of love for his daughter. And so is the happiness his daughter feels today. This makes him reminisce about the past where he asked Zee's mother for permission. Just like this. She doesn't want Zee to end up like her mother who got pregnant earlier than she got married. However, what the deeds of the parents say will come down on his son seems to be true.

"The fire wants to rest first. You two don't let me rest and surprise me after getting tired of work!" dante said as he let go of their embrace.

"Good night, Papi. Have a good rest." Zee let his father go.

"You should sleep in a separate room! Have the man sleep in the guest room, Zee." Danter spoke without turning to look at the two.

"His name is Sean, Pi!" The father did not answer again.

"I don't know what your father said but it seems he's blessing us?" Sean talks about the death of Zee's father.

Zee turned to look at Sean and nodded happily. Sean immediately kissed Zee's lips in a hurry. If normally Zee would also be happy and return the kiss, this time Zee hurriedly let go of their lips then glanced around.

"We're at Papi's house!" perspiration Zee.

"What's wrong with kissing my own fiancee?" sean asked confused.

"Don't forget we're in Indonesia, not in the UK! Take care of your attitude, Sean." Sean is a little disappointed with the rules in the Indonesian country that can not be too free.

"Can't we sleep together?" ask Sean.

"It won't be possible" replied Zee who made Sean even more disappointed.

"You brought your own stuff, right?" ask Zee after arriving at the room that will be occupied by Sean.

"Good rest, Sean." Zee was just about to leave Sean.

"Where's your room, Zee?" sean asked, holding Zee's hand.

"My room is across from yours. I suggest you not sneak into my room because Papi's room is next to yours." Zee smiled and began to release one by one Sean's fingers holding his wrist.

"Good night, sweetie." Then he closed the door.

Zee breathed a sigh of relief after sending Sean into his room. He smiled, recalling Sean's disillusioned face. Zee goes to his room across from Sean's.

Zee immediately took a shower and changed her clothes that were already very sticky by sweat. The journey taken to get here is 16 hours less that inevitably his body will be very sore because it has to sit continuously on the plane. Despite using a private jet though, there is nothing to do but sit or lie down.

After bathing and changing his clothes, Zee continued by wearing a series of night skincare that he regularly wears. Usually, he would take the medicine before going to bed, but this time he did not. Speaking of medicine, he also did it secretly from his father who did not know about it at all. He was too afraid to talk about it to his father who might be more sad than this. So, Zee chooses to bury him deeply and let that be his bad past. His life is better now and he has to live it.

Zee turned off the lights and the room changed the light to be dimmer than the sleeping lights. His bedroom, still remains the same as the last time he left. The longing that had been inside him, finally paid off already.

Just as he closed his eyes, he heard the sound of the door opening. Zee wakes up and turns on the brighter lights. Looking clearly at Sean who was already in his room.

"Sean! I told you we-"

"Then don't make any noise, then" cut Sean while smothering Zee's mouth.

"But Sean, Papi's in the room!" exciting Zee.

"I'll just sleep next to you holding you. Not the other one. And I'll move in the morning before he wakes up to my room." Sean who spoke in a pleading tone to Zee made him unable to resist.

"Just sleep and you'll move on later" said Zee, who then lay back down.

"Of course!" Like the kids Zee had just given her candy, Sean immediately climbed into the bed and slept hugging Zee as they used to.

Zee is closing her body to Sean. It had been a long time since he felt the comfort of sleeping in Sean's field chest. Slowly his eyes tightened and his dream realm was ready to come to pick him up.
