Chapter six: New Friend

Time goes by so fast, it does not feel Zee and Kyra have been in college for 4 months. Semester one will soon be over. Zee, Kyra, Aidan, and their one-man new friend are named Athan Guelt, who is a friend of Aidan's organization. At the beginning of their introduction was Athan who helped Zee return his wallet left in the cafe. Athan and Zee look so familiar to each other.

That day Zee and Kyra were doing chores together at the cafe. After finishing work, the two tidied up their belongings and unknowingly Zee's wallet was left behind in the chair she was sitting in. Eventually Zee and Kyra return to their apartment still unconscious. After arriving at the apartment, then Zee realized and was busy rummaging through his bag looking for his favorite wallet. But soon someone rang their apartment bell which turned out to be Athan who found his wallet and intended to return it. Zee is very grateful and invites Athan to come in and eat with them in his apartment.

A few days later they meet again Athan who was with Aidan. It turns out that Aidan and Athan are friends of the organization and one faculty makes Zee and Athan meet more often with Aidan. Aidan, who knew Athan from college, made him believe in Athan. Same with Kyra and Zee.

They are now sitting at Cafe Sunrise, their favorite place to hang out after campus activities. One month ago they came out to hang out together. That's quite a long time because of the busyness they do after formal learners are finished. Aidan and Athan are one of the more frequent organizations together, Kyra is in her marching band club, and Zee is now also busy with her Aesthetic club painting activities.

"Athan look! This is what I painted earlier," said Zee showing the canvas containing his paintings in the aesthetic club. Athan smiled and took the canvas to take a closer look.

"Beautiful and perfect." Athan praised him and looked at Zee proudly.

"Can I have?" ask Athan who got the trouser from Zee. Athan was a little disappointed to see it.

"There will be an art exhibition and my painting that will be one of the displays!" Zee said happily, while Athan smiled in response despite being slightly disappointed.

Aidan and Kyra who noticed the interaction of the two, gave a smile. I am happy if my friend is happy again. There was a glare that liked Athan in Zee's eyes.

"And I want to add the cake dong," said Zee turned to look at Aidan who was making out with Kyra beside him. Kyra snatched away dislike as the sentence came out of Zee's mouth.

"lo ask Athan dong to take it, disrupt my moment!" Kyra snorted, while Aidan had already gone to reorder the cake. Zee slips her tongue mocking Kyra.

"If you're already the same Athan, I'm interrupting your moment!" Zee who heard it immediately flushed out, imagining that Athan was her lover. Athan laughs at Kyra's words, though he does not understand Kyra's language.

Aidan has returned with Zee's order cake, as well as ordering snacks for others. The four returned to enjoy the food available while chatting without running out of topics. Time continued to flow so fast, the four of them were so enjoying the time they spent. It does not feel the time has shown at 20:30 P.M. Aidan who first realized raise his voice to go home soon.

"Ladies, it's night we should go home." Aidan showed the watch in his hand.

Athan frowned as he felt 20:30 was still too late for them to go home.

"They Indonesian girls have a habit of being at home before 10 pm Athan" Aidan told Athan, who frowned in surprise. Athan also understood.

"You guys in front, we're behind you" Aidan said back as he tidied up all his stuff on the table. Same with the three of them. When they are finished, they get into their cars. Kyra and Zee. Aidan and Athan.

Kyra turns on her car engine and drives it across the busy streets of London. Followed by Aidan's car behind him. Aidan and Athan arrive in front of the apartment units Zee and Kyra. After seeing the two girls Aidan entered the apartment safely, then Aidan invited Athan home.

A shiny black sedan, parked not far from Zee's apartment. Someone in it stared at the two cars entering the basemant apartment. From Zee's activities to the cafe and back to his apartment, he noticed all the activities of the girl. It had been four months that he had been watching and staring at Zee from afar. Every activity the girl did was monitored by Sean. The man who is now stalking and watching Zee every day is Sean. Sean Rexford, the owner of the college where Zee attended.

"We're leaving!" sean's orders interrupt the one that Axel is subscribing to.

"Prepare my private rations for Manhattan. I'll stay there for a month" Sean said, massaging his nose. He leaned his head back, resting his dizzy head and was filled with the girl.

He will go to Manhattan to take care of his project there as well as a vacation for a month. He felt the need to stay away from the girl so that his activities that he had been doing for four months stopped. His car entered the street in the dark wilderness. Before long, a large and luxurious mansion began to appear. The guards stood at every corner of the mansion as his car entered the courtyard of the mansion and stopped right in front of the entrance.

Sean got out of the car and got into the mansion. The look of fatigue was so noticeable on his face. He entered the elevator to go to his room on the second floor. After entering his room which was dominated by gray and black paint, he laid his body on his king size bed. The masculine aroma was so pronounced in it. The room was so cold and humid. Someone knocked on his bedroom door followed by a middle-aged woman walking into his room, carrying Sean's suit and briefcase.

"Sean, are you home?" asked the middle-aged woman gently as she approached Sean who was asleep on his stomach.

"Yes, Marlyn, thank you," Sean replied quietly.

"I've cooked your favorite chicken soup. You came home after four months. Eat son," said Marlyn softly as she rubbed her hair full of affection.

"I'm waiting for you at the dinner table." Without waiting for Sean to answer, Marlyn pulled her hand out of Sean's hair then passed away going out of the room.

"I'm going to Manhattan for a month Marlyn" Sean said, opening his voice after he sat his butt in the pantry seat. A spoonful of chicken soup came into his mouth.

"Take care of yourself and don't overwork" advises Marlyn, who is signed by Sean. He continued eating until he finished it.

Marlyn was her nanny since she was a toddler. Sean's parents are so busy making himself often left to go to work by his workaholic parents. As she lacked affection from childhood, Marlyn took care of herself and raised her like her own child. The relationship is like a mother and child relationship because Sean who considers Marlyn is his mother, as well as Marlyn who considers Sean as her own child.

When he graduated from university, Sean decided to leave his parents' home in Washington and instead ran his father's company in the London branch. He also took Marlyn with him to take care of his mansion the distance he lived. Until the end of him until now settled in the city of London.
