Sean tapped on the table with his fingers. Staring straight at his cellphone that was silent since earlier as if waiting for someone to contact him. Ignoring her work that has been piled up. Even the person who entered the room he did not understand.
"Mr Rexford," call his assistant and confidant, Axel.
"What's wrong?" asked Sean without looking at his interlocutor.
"The meeting will begin soon," he replied a little fearfully as he lowered his head.
Seeing his boss who doesn't seem to have a good mood makes him a little afraid that he will be the target of his anger. Since the departure of her young Miss, her boss has become more sinister like the past.
"All right, let's go." Sean moved from his seat.
Axel walked behind him towards the meeting room already attended by the heads of each division. In the middle of their street, Sean's cell phone rang. As fast as lightning Sean picked up his phone and picked up his phone. Anyone can guess who called the boss.
"I'm sorry I just called you back for attending class. What's up, Sean? Aren't you working?" ask someone across the phone, as soon as the connection is connected.
"Can't I call my fiancee because I miss her?" Sean can guess if Zee across the phone is blushing embarrassed.
"Hey, you'd better just work there, rather than fight me! We communicate on our phones every day, and only part for a few days. Don't overdo it!" Zee spoke quickly.
"Aren't you going to say you miss me too?" Sean's teasing Zee.
"I miss you too. Already, I'll have lunch. You're working right and don't call me too often. And don't keep putting your job on Axel."
"Sister Axel?!" Hearing his name called from the mouth of the boss makes the owner of the name turn his head. When he turned his head, Axel immediately threw his face back because Sean was looking at him ferociously.
"Already, enough. I'll hang up!" Zee did not extend their talks.
"Wait!" However, Sean's words make him undo his intention to hang up their phone.
"I plan to visit my parents to tell them. Whether they know it or not, I'll take you to visit them." The core topic of conversation Sean wanted to talk about finally came out.
"When?" ask Zee.
"I'm going to tell my parents first and find out where they are now" Sean replied.
"Tell me again. I'm gonna hang up now."
"I love you" Sean said last time Zee didn't reply.
"The woman." Sean clucked in annoyance, but kept smiling after finishing the call with Zee.
"Let's go in" Sean told Axel. His tone changed again from when he spoke earlier to his fiancee.
As soon as Sean walked into the meeting room, those inside turned upright. A cold aura instantly enveloped the room and made it into a tense atmosphere instantly. However, before someone started their meeting, the boss's phone rang again.
"Just talked about," muttered Sean staring at the screen of his phone.
"Please start the meeting" Sean ordered before picking up the phone from his mother.
Kyra cleared her throat, making Zee immediately wake up from her daydream. He turned his head towards Kyra beside him who was ready to tease him. Zee immediately tried to control his facial expression.
"What is Sean?" ask Kyra.
"Ah, stupid me! Of course, who else would get those sweet words." Before he could answer, Kyra said.
"By the way, Kyra. Do we look weird? Why does everyone seem to notice us? I've felt it since I first got back into college," asked Zee to change the subject.
"When you disappeared, Aidan and I spread your word. However, the news had everyone in an uproar. The man they adored and exalted suddenly got engaged. The whole student, especially the girl, instantly knew that it was you. Of course now you're the center of their attention!" kyra is obviously at length.
"I remember, you knew me because of the news of my engagement. I didn't expect it to go viral until everyone found out." Zee this time nodded his head.
"Don't think too much. Just take the positives and let's eat before you and him go hungry." Kyra pulls Zee's hand, continuing their journey towards the cafeteria.
"I'm still not used to it. They seem to want to devour me alive" Zee said.
"Suppose they envy you" Kyra said.
In the afternoon, after hours of returning home from work, Sean immediately cleaned up his work and put on his suit back and took his car keys. Today's workday clock coincides with the hour her fiance returned from college. He immediately picked her up and took her to visit her parents who had arrived in London. Her mother must have come straight here when she heard about Zee. It would be a surprise for the woman.
After finishing with her last class, Zee and Kyra came out. When walking in the hallway, almost every time someone ran in the hallway towards the exit gate. It was as if they were being hunted by something called time.
"Are there a lot of busy people?" ask Kyra astonishment.
"I don't know" replied the same Zee who didn't know about Kyra.
They continued to walk casually until at the exit gate which turned out to have been crowded by students. They should have gone home if they had been in a hurry. It was all like being in a parking lot.
"It seems like I know why they seem to be in such a hurry" Kyra said, staring in one direction.
"I am too." Likewise with Zee who stared at the same attention as students who crowded the parking lot.
Sean stood leaning against the hood of his car with his trademark flat face. Occasionally look for someone who is the goal here. Sean took his phone and stuck it to his ear.
"Gue go home first if I use your car. Happy dating!" Kyra just left him.
Zee's cell phone ringing is heard. He picked up the phone from Sean still while staring at the man who looked perfect from his appearance.
"Hello" said Zee first.
"Where are you, honey?" ask Sean.
"I've seen you, where I may not have seen someone who attracted so much attention." Zee saw Sean looking more and more to his right and left looking for him.
As soon as they made eye contact, Sean closed his phone and straightened his body. Welcomed the embrace of Zee who ran towards him.
"Don't run, honey. You're no longer alone" said Sean softly after their embrace slipped.
Sean's hand stroked Zee's hair gently as soft as his gaze and smile. The expression on Sean's face had previously evaporated, as if it had never existed. Those who had been watching the romantic drama in front of him, did not believe what they had seen for themselves. A man who had a cold image was untouched by any woman, being sweet to a woman.
"Why are you suddenly here?" ask Zee.
"Let's go now," Sean asked without answering Zee's question.
"Where?"
