Chapter 43: The Surprise

"Maidan!" kyra exclaimed as she patted Aidan's shoulder repeatedly. Aidan turned towards Kyra who seemed to be focusing on her phone while patting her shoulder.

"It's Zee, isn't it, Ai?" kyra asked as she gave her phone to Aidan.

Aidan picks up Kyra's phone a little hastily and stares out at the goal of her phone screen which features a photo of Zee with a man at a party in the headlines this morning. The big emblazoned title, written clearly if the man was a famous young businessman, was engaged to Zee.

"This..he.... the man who came to our campus, right, Ai?" kyra asked as she pulled the collar of Aidan's shirt with teary eyes.

"Aidan! answer me!" kyra who never got Aidan's answer.

"Mr Rexford" said Aidan weakly.

"I'm sure Zee must be alive, right? And that's the proof." The breakup is already crying Kyra. Aidan hugged Kyra tightly with teary eyes as well. Her hand stroking Kyra's hair gently tried to calm her down, though her own heart was a little relieved and a little shaky.

"Yes, Zee is alive" Aidan said in a trembling voice. He wiped away the tears in the corner of his eyes that were about to descend to his cheeks.

After one day, Zee disappears, they both report to the police. The police, who are searching, only find Zee in a state of quite horrendous and conclude if Zee accident that ended up killing him. Aidan and Kyra certainly don't believe him because Zee's body is never found. And their trust and their efforts to find Zee, finally came to fruition. Looking at the photos that are confirmed to be their best friend, they are quite happy with the fact that his best friend is still alive.

Zee and Sean are on a jet heading back to London.

"Just take a break in the room, okay? You look pale" Sean said as he stroked Zee's soft rug.

That morning everything was fine, but after an hour of their flight, Zee vomited and had a high fever. Stupidly there were no doctors or nurses Sean had prepared on the plane. Zee nodded weakly in front of the sink after spewing out the liquid for the 3rd time. Sean swiftly carried Zee to bring him into the room. Zee looked very weak, he leaned his head against Sean's chest and closed his eyes.

"Sean.." call Zee soft when Sean is enveloping Zee's body.

"You want something, hm?" ask her while stroking Zee's cheeks gently.

"Don't leave me." Zee took Sean's hand which stroked her cheek and grasped it tightly.

"No, honey, I'm outside if you need anything. Now, get some rest, okay?" Zee looked at Sean with an unreadable look. He was still silent when Sean kissed his forehead gently. Sean then straightened his body back after kissing Zee and was about to pass away. Zee held onto Sean's little finger as the man was about to step away from her.

"Is there anything you want?" ask Sean. Zee was silent when asked, he just looked at Sean with teary eyes like a kitten asking for food.

"What's up, baby? Speak..." Sean turned around and smiled at her.

"No! There you go, Sean!" Zee releases Sean's rough little finger while pushing the man's thigh and then twists his body waiting for Sean.

5 minutes, Sean was still trembling in his place staring at Zee's trembling back without sobs. However, he knew that Zee was crying. Zee felt the bed move, followed by a large warm hand hugging her stomach tightly inside the blanket she was wearing. A gentle kiss landed on her hair.

"My Love.. Stop crying, okay? I'm sorry for not being sensitive to you." The soft whisper in his ear made Zee stop crying. He was silent when Sean's big hand stroked his stomach.

So warm and soothing makes Zee's body relaxed and peaceful. Drowsiness began to attack him until he was unable to hold it and he finally fell asleep letting dreamland pick him up. The regular sighing and the subtle snoring heard in Sean's ears signified that the girl was already soundly asleep. Slowly, he took off his embrace and got up from the bed. After making sure Zee sleeps comfortably, Sean exits the room.

"How long are we gonna be?" sean asked flatly at his loyal assistant as well as his right hand, Axel.

"Is there a nearby airport that could be a stop?" ask Sean back.

"It's a pity that there isn't, sir." A little scared, Axel replied.

"Prepare the Doctor as soon as we land!" sean's orders.

Sean began to struggle with the tablet in his hand. Check out some incoming emails one of which is an email from Doctor Johan, Zee's psychiatrist. Doctor Johan said in his email that the diagnosis had come out, and there was one important thing the doctor wanted to say. Sean promised an appointment tonight to the doctor at his mansion. After a long struggle with the tablet, he massaged the base of his nose that felt heavy.

Kyra and Aidan. Both names fit into the ranks of the company's email inbox. Both asked for Zee's whereabouts. What should he do?

Zee's entire background, Sean already knows about it including the dark thing. He also knew that both names were important names in his girl's life. She stared at her engagement ring that wrapped around her ring finger. Fear begins to envelop him, if he lets Zee meet his friends. His brain began to think about the possibilities that will occur in each option he will take and weigh it between positive and negative.

Sean finally decided. He stood up and stepped up to enter the room. There still remains the same, Zee still sleeps quietly on his bed. Sean approaches the bed and enters into the same blanket as Zee. Hugging Zee who was a little distracted but not up. Just get her body closer to Sean looking for comfort in Sean's field chest. Sean looked at Zee who closed his beautiful eyes. This typical Asian face can make Sean fall into his charm. If Sean's charm is usually irresistible, now he can not resist the charm of a Linzy Alanza. This Indonesian girl hides deep wounds behind her sweet, innocent face and smile.

Sean kissed Zee's forehead gently. "I won't let you go until Linzy. You're just mine." Sean whispered softly and joined his eyes to follow Zee into his dreamland.

*Zee POV*

I opened my eyes and stood up. I see all around me that I don't know where. But the name of this place I know. Playground. So many kinds of games that are commonly played by Kindergarten children in general. My eyes traced this vast garden, empty. There's no one. The sound of a creaking swing coming into my ear made me turn my attention to trying to find the source of the sound. At 6 o'clock I saw a sweet little girl sitting on the swing looking down.

My feet moved to get closer to him. When she was in front of him, the girl looked up at me. Holy hooch! His face is very similar to Sean's, but in the female version. I smiled warmly looking at her face which was also smiling at me. My hand slowly approached his head trying to stroke his head.

"Mommy!" she strangled herself up from the swing and hugged my body. Until I couldn't hold my balance, I fell.

Bruk!

Zee opened his eyes straight away, his heart racing fast. A cold sweat billow drenched his face. This time, she dreams of something other than her past. He pulled out the blanket that covered his body and sat on the side of the bed. Zee regulated his breathing and calmed down. His outstretched hand took the glass over the nightstand and drank the contents up to the toilet. He put the empty glass back in place. His head turned towards the wall clock. At 20.05.

His memory rotates when he looks at the clock. Wait for. Wasn't the last time he fell asleep on a plane bound for London with Sean? Why was he in his room?

Zee stood up from his seat and went out of the room to get into Sean's study. Looking for the whereabouts of the man. His hand held the doorknob and turned it around, before he opened the door. Sean's voice made him stop his movements.

"What are the risks of treatment if Zee is pregnant?"
