Chapter 77: The Feeling

For the whole night Dante searched for the whereabouts of his missing daughter. However, until the sun rises again and heats the earth, the results are still nil. Aidan and Kyra have since kept in touch with him to ask for information that is still running in this place.

"Aidan, it looks like Om Dante needs to know about Zee's problem. It's about his kidnapping. You yourself have heard from the man named Zach that Zee was really kidnapped by that bastard." Kyra spoke to Aidan. Both are in the apartment, waiting for Dante.

"You're right, Ra. Om Dante deserves to know about Zee's problem" Aidan added.

"What problem?" Suddenly the voice of someone behind them made the two startle and immediately switched his attention.

"O-om Dante?" call Kyra surprised.

"What are Zee, Kyra, Aidan going through?" dante asked as he walked closer towards them.

"Zee is now missing from being kidnapped by Samuel" Aidan replied.

"Kidnapped by Samuel? But why are you accusing the boy? What does Zee have to do with Samuel?" ask Dante streak.

Aidan and Kyra looked at each other, hearing this question they had been waiting for. Dante is waiting more and more curious, actually what happened to his daughter since he lived in London.

"One of the reasons Zee went to London was because Samuel inflicted a deep wound on Zee. Zee has been hiding his depression from Om even Aidan and Kyra" explained Aidan who is still not too understood by Dante.

"What injury?" ask Dante.

"Samuel raped Zee and threatened her with their video to not open his mouth to anyone." Dante could not be more surprised than this when he heard what came out of Aidan's mouth.

Her cheerful and mature daughter, apparently kept a big secret. The reason behind his strange attitude back then was because of the wounds he desperately hid. A feeling of regret slowly crept in his heart. He shouldn't be too busy to ignore and think Zee is okay. He should have been a father figure who could be the place where his daughter leaned.

"It looks like that bastard is now going here to make trouble again, Om," said Kyra.

"But, was it really Samuel who did all this?" ask Dante back.

"Aidan has heard it directly from Zach, if Samuel did kidnap Zee." Aidan nodded confidently.

"Om recently heard that the Samuel family had suddenly gone bankrupt. His father lost his prestige as a member of his political party. Is it possible that Samuel could come here?"

Aidan and Kyra shook their heads. Dante feels that if this is really Samuel's act, Samuel's motive is revenge on Zee for his family.

"Did Sean know Zee's past too, Aidan?" ask Dante.

"We don't know, Om. They were recently rumored to be nearby," Kyra replied.

"We're going to see Mr. Rexford." Dante moves on from his seat followed by Aidan and Kyra who say nothing.

Sean felt something inside him in the middle of his daydream. He thinks it's a bad feeling about Zee. As of this morning, Sean is still frustrated because he still has not found any signs of Zee's whereabouts. He should not just stick the GPS on his phone. But, also in their engagement ring which is always worn by Zee.

"Zee, where are you, My Love?" Sean said with a clean voice.

Once again Sean looks at his computer hoping he can find traces of Zee's whereabouts. He also sees news in the media to control the situation. Because the marriage was taken care of by his father, he only handled the rest.

"Zach!" sean called him.

"What have you been doing all this time?" sean asked tiredly mixed with annoyance.

"I searched for Zee's whereabouts through all the cctv in this town," Zach replied cautiously.

"Urus is also the fucking media that's showing nasty gossip about me and Zee! Fire and give a punishment that's worth it to those bastards!" sean's pissed off while breaking the table.

"I'll take care of it" Zach replied as he walked out of Sean's room.

Once again Sean breathed. All of these people were not in their work until it was themselves who had to step in to see it. Plus, their job is very slow just to find the whereabouts of Zee from the little mouse that kidnapped her.

"What's up, Dad? Did you find Zee?" Sean straightened his body when he received a call from his father.

"Your parents are with me and looking for your whereabouts. Come quickly and explain everything." After that sentence is heard, the phone connection is cut off.

Explains everything. That last sentence was enough to make Sean think for an explanation of what he had to say to Dante. And about what. Not thinking anymore, Sean took his suit and walked out of his room.

"You search for Zee until you can quickly! Don't slow down even if I'm not around." Sean spoke before he finally got out with his car keys.

It didn't take long for Sean to reach his parents' residence. There is already a car used by Zee or Kyra and Aidan. Without wasting any more time, Sean stepped inside. Once inside, the atmosphere inside the room was already hot enough.

"Sean, has Zee been found?" Alana who first realized the existence immediately approached Sean and tearfully asked his son with hope.

"No, Mom. Zach's still trying so hard to find him now." Sean shook his head as he looked at his mother worried about disappointing him.

"Do you know my daughter's past?" The question was thrown from Dante's mouth that made Sean divert his attention.

Sean alternately stared straight at Dante who was not looking at him. His eyes were blank and did not express anything. From it all, he already knew that the father of his fiance had just learned that fact. He also felt a little surprised because Zee's own father had not even known about the matter all along.

"That's right. And I ordered Zach to go to Indonesia and destroy his family. But sorry, he lost his son, which caused this to happen. I should have intervened myself to destroy the family to its roots so as not to disturb Zee." Perhaps this was what his father meant about explaining everything.

There was a shocked and regretful expression inside Dante's flat and stiff face that only Sean had seen. He was waiting for what else he would say.

"Do you still accept my daughter?" asked Dante hesitantly who this time looked at Sean.

"What kind of stupid question is that, Mr Dante? Even my whole family including me loved her more than anyone and accepted her with pleasure. No one deserves the position of daughter-in-law of the Rexford family more than Linzy." Sean spoke firmly.

Before Dante could return to talk, a ring from Sean's cell phone was heard. As fast as lightning Sean picked it up.

"Zee's location has been found, Sean!"
