Without a second thought, Ryan ran to Aria's front, then clenched her tightly, and turned her back to the bomb that was still hovering in the air.

Under the deafening sound of an explosion, a burst of flames exploded right behind the speeding bus. 

The road behind the bus was covered in a large fire. The rain water around him also instantly evaporated.

This explosion produced a shockwave that resembled a storm surge, and instantly spread out in all directions. Even the bus that Kinji and Ryan were riding on was almost lifted due to the effects of this explosion.

After a while, the fire of the explosion disappeared.

On the roof, Ryan continued to clutch Aria's body and maintain a kneeling posture with one leg while looking back.

Right now, Aria was completely shocked. If Ryan had not immediately shot the bomb in his hand, then no doubt his life would have been over.

Thinking of this, Aria inevitably lifted her head and looked at Ryan's handsome face. Seeing Ryan like that, he was completely blown away by the action as well as Ryan's face.

After the terror of the bomb ended, the speed of the bus that had been severely damaged began to slow down until it finally stopped.

Shortly after, the sirens of police cars began to sound, which meant that help had arrived.

After help arrives, Ryan and Aria submit the investigation to the authorities. The two of them immediately boarded the helicopter and returned to the Assault Division building.

Upon arrival at the Assault building, Aria calls Ryan who is about to leave. “Ryan, don't go first. I have something to discuss with you. So, wait a minute.”

Aria then went into the dressing room and immediately changed the clothes of CE Equipment with the uniform of Butei Tokyo High School.

10 Minutes later, Aria came out of the dressing room. "Sorry to wait. Let's go."

Ryan nodded and left with Aria out of the Assault building heading to the public school building. To be exact, they went to the Academic Administration Department of Butei High School to give a report.

While walking, Aria asked Ryan about the bomb that suddenly exploded. “How did you know that the bomb would explode?”

"What?" Aria said in great surprise: "In other words, you got a threatening message from Butei Killer?"

“I also initially thought that SMS was just a threat. However, now, I realize that this SMS is not a threat, but a warning.”

Ryan pulled out his phone and sent Aria a Butei Killer SMS. "The Perpetrator seemed to have been after me from the beginning. He accidentally planted the bomb in a bus full of Butei High School students to lure me.”

“She sent an SMS with a threat tone to cover her actual plan.”

“So so .. “ Aria commented after reading the contents of SMS Butei Killer.

“The reason the perpetrator planted the bomb in the bus is to lure you to save the bus passengers. After making sure you're on the bus, he'll detonate the bomb remotely.”

“It's true.” Ryan nodded saying, “With such explosive power, a tank alone can be destroyed, let alone an ordinary bus. This indicates that the perpetrator is really serious about killing me.”

‘But, the question is, if the perpetrator is really serious about killing me, why didn't he immediately detonate his bomb when we landed on the roof of the bus the first time? Is this just a warning?’ thought Ryan.

As Ryan thought for a moment, Aria walked ahead of Ryan and stopped right in front of him. He turned to face Ryan and pointed at Ryan with his index finger. “You have good intuition. With just a few small clues, you can make a decision quickly.”

“Honestly, I was really scared. You suddenly shot that even I don't know when you did it, then hit the bomb and made it throw to the back.”

“This is truly an amazing technique!”

"Thanks to this, I can finally confirm your ability."

“Then from that, Ryan .. be my partner!”

Hearing Aria's words, Ryan was slightly surprised. He did not expect Aria would invite him to become a partner.

Ryan who has had bad intentions since the beginning, certainly will not miss this offer.

"Of course Aria. How could I refuse an offer from a girl your blanket" Ryan said with a warm smile.

Aria became a little stammered at Ryan's words. "I-i-cute you said?"

Seeing Aria's extremely cute reaction, Ryan walked over and held Aria's chin gently. He then raised Aria's head until Ryan and Aria's eyes looked at each other. 

"That's right, my little cat. You are so cute and beautiful. You are also strong and tough. I really like tough and cute girls like you."

Aria's face this time was completely red to the point of emitting hot smoke. “Ta-but, I heard that you have had a girlfriend?”

“Already a law of nature, the figure of a strong and great man always has a lot of great women who are always beside him. And that includes you, Aria ..”, Ryan said gently.

"A-are you serious?"

"Of course Aria." 

"Give me time to think." replied Aria who was still blushing embarrassed.

After a while, Aria calmed down. He still seems not ready to answer Ryan's feelings, so Aria decides to hold back the answer first.

After being calm, Aria resumed her conversation. "Since you have been willing to become my Partner, we can immediately register our team to the Academic Administration Department of Butei High School."

At Butei High School, there is a rule where second-graders are required to form a team. This team must be registered with the Academic Administration Department of the school before the end of September. 

Later, this team will continue until graduation and become Butei Professional. 

Therefore, the determination of team members is very important, because it will affect the future when becoming a Professional Butei.

With the team, the team members will be able to complement each other and cover their weaknesses. This is the reason why Butei High School has divided its students from the beginning based on the speciality classes taken when new to High School.

September is still 6 months away. It is too early to register now. 

Seeing Aria's attitude that seemed rushed, Ryan felt that Aria had a hidden reason. So, Ryan tried to extract information from him.

“Aria, why are you in such a hurry to form a team?”
