Training Shana (II)

As soon as the voice sounded, Shana's hand stopped. Sparkling star grains appeared around Shana.

"This is your strength, you don't have to look for it anymore. All you need now is a way to control your power. So make no mistake …"

‘Is Shana a Success?’ muttered Alastor from the pendant that Shana used.

Ryan who was still closing his eyes and bathed in star dust, started to say slowly but firmly.

"Next, control the energy radiating from your body slowly. Follow the way I showed you earlier.”

Seeing Shana still having trouble channeling her energy into Nietono no Shana, Ryan said, “I'll show you again how.”

After saying it like that. Prana from Ryan's body flows back into Nietono no Shana.

“Now, try to follow this flow of my energy, and do the same with your own power, try to control it like this.” explains Ryan.

If this scene was seen by another Genestella, they would definitely think that Ryan was so stupid. Because basically, Prana has the effect to increase, whether it's attack power or defense.

However, injecting Prana into ordinary weapons is not very effective. Unless the weapon is equipped with Manadyte or Urm Manadyte that can trigger Mana resonance, so it can strengthen the weapon.

And now, Ryan was trying to use his Prana to strengthen Nietono no Shana without any Mana resonance.

Ryan started controlling his Prana flow again.

"Un .." Shana nodded and manipulated the fire. He followed Ryan's guidelines, letting the fire keep flowing.

On this day, the fire of the red lotus had been burning on the river bank and had not receded for a long time.

If it were not for the path here being rarely passed by people, then a scene like this would definitely make others suspicious.

By the time Shana starts swinging her odachi, Ryan has predicted Shana's movements. Ryan took a step back. This made the tip of the fiery sword was right in front of Ryan's count.

Seeing the tip of that hot red fiery sword in front of him, Ryan opened his mouth. "I've been training you specially all day, don't you have any gratitude at all?"

Shana's expression changed when she heard Ryan's words. He looked a little panicked, so the odachi blade that was pointing towards Ryan shook.

Ryan who saw all this, smiled nosily and said, "Could it be that all the Flame Haze don't know whose name is thank you?"

Ryan's words left Shana speechless. This brought laughter from Ryan. 

This laugh made Shana even more embarrassed. "My ... I didn't ask you to help me!"     

This word sounds very awkward. Shana's charming face was getting red. 

Seeing Ryan who was still smiling insinuatingly, Shana became very angry.

"I never asked for your help! Anyway, I won't thank you!"

In an awkward manner of speaking, Shana shrugged her shoulders and looked towards Ryan. He then lifted Nietono no Shana up.

Unlike Crimson Denizen who could use the Power of Existence of the humans they swallowed to fight, Flame Haze used her own stamina to be able to use the power of the Crimson Lord she had contracted.

More precisely, the Flame Haze borrowed the Crimson Lord's power within its body at a price to pay, which was stamina.

When the Crimson Lord who had completed the contract with the Flame Haze entered the body of the contractor, the total amount of Power of Existence had been fixed, neither increasing nor decreasing.

Thus, when the Flame Haze used strength, the Strength coming out of the Crimson Lord would consume the Flame Haze's stamina.

It's a good thing and a bad thing.

The good thing was, Flame Haze did not need to use the Power of Existence like the other Crimson Denizen. But, the bad thing is that the greater the power used, the faster one gets tired.

That's why Alastor will blame Shana for her actions. Although Ryan had accompanied Shana all day, Shana was only able to use her strength right in the afternoon and it was no more than 30 minutes. It could be seen how extravagant the stamina Shana used.

Since Ryan's fight with Sydonay, both Shana and Alastor have begun to believe in Ryan. Therefore, Alastor only kept quiet when Ryan trained Shana.
