Meaning of the Shirayuki Prophecy

"In the endless forest, there was an enormous tree. But alas, this tree can't grow any more than this because of the chains that impede its growth."

"The appearance of this card generally represents freedom that is restricted, or arguably constrained."

Shirayuki then whispered, "In your past, your life is full of restraints. You can't be free to develop and express your desires."

"Like the big tree in this picture, you can only see other trees developing well, meanwhile, you can only stay in place without being able to develop further.”

Ryan raised his eyebrows slightly and fell silent for a moment. After a moment of silence, Ryan pointed towards the second card and said, "Then, what about the meaning of the second card?"

"The second card represents the present." Shirayuki looked straight at Ryan and said, "Since ancient times, many people believed that the river was the dividing line between life and death. So is the river in this card."

"This river depicts the Sanzu river, where the soul of the dead must cross this river in order to be reincarnated.”

“In the meantime, the boat moving in the middle of this river is you. It illustrates that you are currently stuck on the dividing line between life and death. This caused your body to emit an aura of life as well as death."

"The work of Susanoo made Amaterasu angry. Amaterasu, the Sun God, hides himself in a cave called Ama no Iwato. This makes the sky lose its light. The earth and Takamagahara are covered in darkness."

"So, this card represents light and darkness."

Shirayuki paused for a moment and looked straight at Ryan. After that, he began to say clearly, as if he wanted Ryan to understand what he was going to say.

"If you choose light, it will make light shine on the world."

"If you choose darkness, it will make darkness cover the world."

"All your decisions will affect the future of the world."

"You have a very strong destiny. A man like this can be transformed into a savior, or into a criminal who will destroy the world."

"Now, that choice is in your hands. Will you save the world, or will you destroy it."

"This is your future."

After hearing Shirayuki's words, the surrounding atmosphere gradually became heavy.

But the mood did not last long. One by one the students started laughing. They really doubt the credibility of this prophecy.

Shirayuki didn't care about any of this. He looked straight at Ryan seriously.

Ryan was silent for a moment. 'Logically, what I've been doing all this time does determine the future of the world.'

'Just like I killed Biba in the Kabaneri world of The Iron Fortress and also killed Venus in the God Eater world. Everything determines the future of the world.'

'And I could have ignored it all without regard to the mission.'

"But to me, my future is you, Shirayuki."

"I can't imagine another future without you by my side." Ryan smiled.

Based on the notice, Ryan got a dormitory in the third building.

This hostel is located not far from Butei High School.

Inside the dormitory, there are many rooms with narrow hallways such as apartment dwellings in general.

In the Butei dormitory, there are two types of rooms available, namely regular rooms and VIP rooms.

Ordinary room has an area of 12 meters with indoor bathroom facilities, beds, study tables, cabinets, and also air conditioning.

Unlike the usual VIP room has an area of 120 meters. In addition, in the VIP room, there is a dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and 5 small rooms.

And in this VIP room, Ryan will stay for his education at Butei High School.
